Most of us who have suffered the great loss of a precious loved one, may indeed connect to the following poem.
I want you to know that I feel you and I truly understand the deepest hurt losing a loved one can bring.
WHEN YOU LOSE A LIFE
When you lose a life,
you loved so much,
absence of hugs,
missing their touch.
You grieve their heart,
you once embodied before,
many sleepless nights,
craving them more.
An invisible pain,
that never goes away,
so lost without them,
a hate for each day.
No one shares,
the hurt in you,
life feels numb,
But know their presence,
lives in your soul,
a bond so strong,
making you whole.
Believe they stand,
right by your side,
giving you energy,
watching with pride.
They are your candle,
giving you light,
they are your blanket,
comforting you at night.
They listen to your whispers,
guide your inner thoughts,
solving your problems,
untying the knots.
So remember their smile,
laughter and glow,
bringing you solice,
when you feel low.
Know that their spirit,
embraces your love,
forever your star,
shining from above.

At the beginning of every month I pose a question for you to answer and I also provide you with my own answer. Below is this month’s question:
What does a fulfilling life mean for you?
A fulfilling life for me is being able to do everyday what I am happy doing and in doing that making other people happy along the way and helping them achieve their vision, where I can. There are many specifics to this but ultimately the specifics relate to how I want to feel, moment to moment. So for example, lately I’ve been thinking of doing some work in Dubai and I have had a few skype calls with the Managing Director of a company out there to see if we are both “fit for purpose”. Ultimately I am thinking about will this work give me the life fulfilment I am looking for – because the way I see it “success without fulfilment is a failure” (Tony Robbins).
So I think it is important to be successful in life but please make sure that it offers you fulfilment too and by answering this question it may help you with your next step in life.
Every month I share a question for you to ponder and I also provide you with my own answer. Here is this month’s question for you:
How do you express your individuality?
Here is my answer:
I express my individuality most definitely through my creative writing. My original poetry comes from a special place in my heart and my songwriting comes from the core of my soul and the melody of my songs from my happy and harmonious spirit. That’s how I express my individuality and it can be quite an emotional experience for me, but it is authentic to me and speaks only truth.
We are all so very special and unique and I feel it is so important for you to express who you really are and I would love to know how you do that.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend with some precious time in there for you and for you only.
A very warm and lovely welcome to this month’s question. I hope you will get the chance to reflect and answer this question for yourself – my answer is also below. I hope you’re having a fabulous start to February. Lots of love Clarabelle.
What do you love doing, you know that one thing that really makes you smile, that really makes you happy…..who or what is it, I would love to know what lights you up inside?
Even this very question is making me smile inside because it is taking me to happy times. I am sure this will come as no surprise to you, but I really do love writing poetry from the heart and also writing songs. What makes me even happier is knowing that these poems and songs are bringing joy to other people, that truly is the icing on the cake for me. I have a vision that one day I will be standing on stage in front of a huge audience and they are singing along to my own songs. I also have a beautiful vision of driving my car and one of my original songs are playing on the radio. This my friends, I truly believe will happen…..I just believe that in my heart of hearts.
So I hope you really think about this question today and if you’re not doing what you love, make sure you give it your priority this month, because you truly deserve to be happy doing what you LOVE doing.
Welcome to today’s post where I pose a question for you to think about and answer for yourself – I also provide you with my own answer.
This month’s question for you to reflect on is:
When you’re feeling a little low, what one thing can you think about that will instantly uplift your mood?
There is one little sweet memory that always makes me smile and instantly uplifts my mood, it’s when I think of my little 2 year old niece Carmen, I just love her, she is so cute and has this beautiful little smile. I specifically think of a time when she was sitting in her mum’s car and I turned up unexpectedly….she shouted “Auntie Claire” and gave the biggest smile ever, I just knew she was so happy to see me…..it felt so loving and wonderful. So if life is ever getting to me, I just think of her, in that moment, smiling at me. Even right now I am much happier for thinking about it.
At the beginning of every month I pose a question for you to think about and answer for yourself. I also provide you with my own answer to this question. Below is this month’s question.
Usually I offer you up a question that relates to moving forward with your life for e.g. making a change or a question that will help you to become more self aware. This month’s question is a little bit more simple (well, for me) 🙂 .
What is your most favourite piece of music or song, right now, in this moment and why?
I really do love lots of songs and music compilations, I have a deep respect and appreciation for music and I really do admire the musical talents of Artists.
The one song that I have been listening to recently and really does inspireme, is a song called “Try” by the Band “The Modern Hearts”. I really LOVE this song, because I can relate to the words, which uplift me, inspire me andawaken my soul inside….to me, this song is quite simply magical and captivating. When I play this song, I want to dance, I just start jumping and moving around on the living room floor like a 2 year old on Christmas Eve excitedly waiting for Santa to arrive. What an amazing impact a song can have on you.
Here is a SoundCloud link to the wonderfully inspiring song “Try” by the Band “The Modern Hearts”, right now, this song is number one in my heart and soul: https://soundcloud.com/modernheart/try
I would really love to know what is your favourite song and why and also what positive impact it has on you too?
Welcome to October’s question of the month post. At the beginning of every month I like to pose a question for you to contemplate and I will also share my own answer to the question for you. October’s question:
Now that we’re in the the final quarter of 2013, it is good to reflect on your achievements of the year so far. What are you most proud of achieving this year so far?
This is a difficult one to answer for me because I honestly feel there are so many things that I am proud of achieving this year so far and a lot of it is not always immediately obvious to the outside world because a lot of it is related to self mastery, understanding oneself, become true to myself and being the person that I am and that I am becoming.
If I had to choose one I would definitely say it is related to moving forward with my singing/songwriting career. I have such passion and soul connection to this ambition. This year so far I have taught myself how to play the keyboard, created 9 instrumentals and written 25 original songs over a 6 month period.
Everything related to me moving forward with this part of my life feels like a miracle to me, it was as if it came out of nowhere but it was a childhood dream deeply cemented in my heart. I do truly believe that if I didn’t start this blog in April last year, I am not sure if the singing/songwriting would have unleashed itself so quickly, or even at all!! It is as if this blog was the planting of a seed “the new me” and every blog post has nurtured that seed to grow, develop, flourish and blossom. This blog I am so very grateful for, this blog was certainly last year’s number one achievement by far. 🙂
It is good to reflect on your past achievements and I would encourage you to answer this month’s question and also take time to celebrate your achievements. After all you did it and you deserve it, you deserve the happiness it brings you.
Now, that we’re into the last quarter of 2013, make it the greatest three months of your life, I know I am.
Every person who comes into your life teaches you a lesson, whether they are in it for a day, a month or a lifetime. Think about the people you have crossed paths with, what did they teach you? You could even flip this question on the other side and ask the person “What did I teach you?“. I don’t mean this in an egotistical way, I mean in a very spiritual way.
From Negative to Positive
Sometimes you never really know the real difference you make to a person’s life until they actually tell you. I know there is a person out there who you have inspired, motivated, shared true wisdom with, really helped them by listening to them with empathy, boosted their self-esteem and confidence, helped them to become more authentic to themselves and helped them to listen to their heart and change their thoughts from negative to positive.
Think about this today, what did another person teach you or what did you teach another person?
Sometimes we are oblivious to the beautiful lessons around us, until we stop, think and reflect on them. Maybe it’s now time to reflect upon that. 🙂
Wishing you a day filled with positive thoughts, love Clarabelle.
Welcome to the first day of July. At the beginning of each month I give you a question to ponder and answer for yourself, I also share my own answer with you. Below is July’s question for you:
What one thing could you do today, that would make a positive difference to your life right now?
I know that when I pray for myself and for others it always makes me feel better and I do feel that my prayers are always answered. Before I say my prayers I say “Thank you” for listening and at the end of my prayers I say “Thank you” for answering my prayers. So this month I will start and end each day with a prayer to help me and others stay strong, focused and committed on the journey of our life purpose. What is my life purpose? Well it would take a long time for me to answer that one, but let’s just say that this blog is definitely a massive part of that.
Thank you for dropping by today and I hope this question helps you to think about what you need/want to do in your life to make positive changes happen for you.
Welcome to this month’s question. Every month I ask you a question to reflect upon and answer for yourself, I also share my own answer with you.
I have just returned from a lovely and fun filled holiday with 9 of my childhood friends, it was a bachelorette (hen) party holiday for my wonderful friend Michelle who gets married in 2 weeks time.
Whilst there I came across this wonderful little cafe called ‘Passion for Life’, I love it because its menu is full of organic, healthy, natural wholefoods and I fell in love with their ‘After Eight’ healthy protein shake…..yummy. The cafe was such a lovely environment to sit in, because it has little inspirational pictures and photographs displayed on its walls. The reason I am sharing this is because it has a “Question of the Day Chalk Board” and I took a photograph of the board so I could use their question to share with you today.
Question: “When was the last time, you did something for the first time?”
My answer: Lately I have being doing a lot of things for the first time so I will share with you one of the things I did this morning for the first time. I am really big on gratitude at the moment, I am so very grateful for everything I have in my life right now, I really am. I have just started reading the book, “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne, I love this book because it helps you to deliberately focus on what you are truly grateful for each day and night. Today, for this first time, I did practical exercise for day 1, which was to, “count my blessings”, I had to write down 10 of them and the reason why, honestly it felt so good to do this.
I will leave you with that Question for the month of June and maybe you will also want to count your blessings too, it really will make you feel so good.
Thank you for reading my posts, I really do treasure you being here, I have been reflecting a lot whilst being away on holiday and I have some truly amazing posts to follow very soon.
Much love to you today as always and thank you from the core of my heart, Clarabelle.
