How are you?
Hi there, this is a rather more informal blog posting, I was just wondering how you were, are you doing okay out there or maybe you’re doing even better than okay? So, please may I ask you,
How are you today?
I’d like to know more about you. 🙂
Love Clarabelle

The Time Will Come
Over the last few years I have been writing lots and lots of poems, words of inspiration and motivation. Â These writings have come from my inner wisdom, my corporate business knowledge and true and heartfelt life experiences. Â All of my writings have been compiled into 10 books, which are currently available on Amazon. These books went “live” on Amazon in June this year, with the wonderful help from a very successful editor in America, Steve Mann. Â To my absolute delight and amazement, last night, I read some truly wonderful 5 star book reviews and I wanted to share some of them with you today:
On my book, Clarabelle’s Musings:
“This full compilation of Claire’s positive thoughts, inspiring messages, and motivating jottings will make you feel like you just drank 6 energy drinks, without the heart palpitations. Her words pick you up, help you view your life in a different, more positive way, and provide you with the belief that you can accomplish anything.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Affirmations:
“Psychologists and therapists have long known that affirmations can help us all to stay on course in the goals we set for ourselves. Heck, even Oprah has spoken about how important it is to have daily affirmations for yourself. Claire, through her prose and poetry, offers us affirmations that we can use on a daily basis to help us to set goals and achieve them.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Keys to Happiness:
“We all know that to be happy all the time is an impossibility because without sadness, we would not truly appreciate happiness. Claire through her prose and poems, reminds us of what it is like to be happy and how we as individuals are responsible for our own happiness. Through her words, she unveils the secrets that really can help us all to achieve happiness more often.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Christmas Joys:
“Who doesn’t love Christmas? Well, actually, there are a lot of people who don’t. But Claire’s words bring us back to the true reality of what Christmas is all about. It’s about the joy of family, the appreciation of the blessings we have, the use of our talents to share with others to help them, and the love of keeping the people who matter to you, close in your life. Claire’s superlative use of words remind us all of the true meaning of Christmans and how we should be thankful for the joys we have in our lives. I loved it. I love Christmas. Why not read it like I did, and feel empowered to access the true Christmas Joys.”
On my book, Clarabelle Presents Nature’s Gifts:
“Claire’s expressive words bring a new appreciation to all that is nature. Her prose and poems lighten the spirit and make the heart sing with joy.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Moving Motivations:
“What are we without human motivation? Simply a shell of a human body that walks around with animation, but no direction. Claire’s writings provide motivation to all of us to dream, believe in our dreams, and take the steps necessary to achieve our dreams.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Heart and Soul:
“People don’t often make the connection of importance between the heart and the soul. Of course, we all know, without our hearts, our souls will wander. But Claire’s exquisite jottings show how closely our hearts and souls are connected, not just within our own bodies, but also in how we connect with other hearts and souls. Claire, in her quiet writings, paint a clear picture of how dependent we as fragile humans are upon not just our own hearts and souls, but the people we touch in our lives and those who touch us in our lives.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Creative Inspirations:
“Claire Murray is a talented and gifted author and poet. Her jottings inspire me and make me feel positive, happy, and make my heart sing with joy. Thank you Claire, for sharing your gifts with us. I thoroughly enjoyed all of your books. Getting up every morning and reading one of your prose or poems gave me a burst of positive energy to start my day out right and helped me to see normal things that happened throughout my day in a positive light.”
On my book, Clarabelle’s Poems of Love:
“When Claire writes about love, it really is a Splendid Thing. Through her words she is able to transport the reader back to young love, first love, and mature love. It brings back the beautiful memories of falling in love and staying in love.”
These reviews were written a few months ago and I honestly didn’t know I had made such an impact with the person reading them. Â This makes me very happy. Â It just goes to show, and I truly believe this, when YOU are ready, “The Time Will Come” when your inner butterfly will spread its wings and flutter to the hearts of others.
Thank you for being here, I love you for it.
All my love for a beautiful day, Clarabelle
Strengthen the Mind
The mind is like a loose cannon, if you don’t control its direction, goodness knows where you’ll end up. Â A lot of change and unsettlement can unrest the mind and may not feel really good. Â The first step is being aware that your current thinking isn’t serving you well and then you must take steps to put it back on track. Â Whatever that is for you. Â I have a few personal strategies in place that work for me when my mind runs away with crazy stupid thoughts that I know I don’t benefit from. Â Motivational anything does it for me, I have figured out that if I am around motivational people, motivational words, I watch or read anything motivational it inspires me to take control of my thinking so that it serves me best. Â So I will end this short blog post today with some motivational words for you today, here goes:
YOU GOTTA…
You gotta help yourself, you gotta believe that you can change for the better, you gotta feel it in your heart and have deep faith that better days are on their way to an even better YOU. Â You gotta start with any type of negative thinking that doesn’t serve you well, you gotta replace that thinking with more positive thoughts, more positive intentions and you’ve gotta do whatever you need to do to change it up for yourself, to make it better, to turn each dull moment into a brighter sunny day. Â You don’t need to wait for the sun to come out, it’s already there, shining inside of you. Â Believe me, if you master your thoughts, you’re half way there to entering the door of your dreams.
And remember, you don’t always need to look outside for the sun.
Wishing you a day filled with inspired action.
Love Clarabelle

I Love You
Three of the most powerful words that touch your soul like no other, that make your heart smile inside, that help you to believe that anything is possible and that give you hope for the future and peace in the now. Â What are these words?….these words can only be:
“I Love You”
Say it out loud, right now, feel how those words feel, those are three of the most impactful words you will ever say to someone. Â Those three little words can turn EVERYTHING around for the better. Â “I Love You” said with true meaning and heart can raise a shattered soul from the gutter and uplift it so much that it will be dancing with the birds around the sun.
When was the last time you told someone you loved them? Â I know you know they know it, but when did you actually look them in the eyes, hold their hands and say to them “I Love you”?
Do it today, do it for yourself and do it for them……make today an “I Love You” day. Â I KNOW it will make you and the other person feel so good.
And…….to you, YOU, who faithfully drops by every day on this Clarabelle Blog, “I Love you”…for being here…I LOVE YOU.
Wishing you a loving day, wherever you are in the world.
Clarabelle
Living the Solution
Some things might surprise you.
IÂ have had the experience recently of being very surprised with some of my life situations. Â Fairly recently, I put my life in a suitcase and moved to another country, to what I thought was going to be the best job ever, I thought the job was going to give me everything I ever wanted. Â I was so positive about it, so excited, so “up for the challenge”…..,.basically, I was super ready for this!! Â Then when I get there, it turns out to not be what I expected, but hey that’s okay, I accepted that and moved on!! Â You see I know what is important to me in life and I know what I need from a job that will make every day a joy for me to be there – that way the company get the best out of me in every way possible.
So what happened next? Â Where do you go from here?
I tell you what I did.  I didn’t moan about the situation, I was truthful with everyone around me – especially myself, and focused on the solution to the problem…..NOT the problem.  You see there is a BIG difference, a HUGE difference.  I know that you get what you focus on, please let me repeat that, YOU GET WHAT YOU FOCUS ON 🙂 So I knew that I had to focus on the solution, I did, and within 2 weeks, I was LIVING the solution, albeit a temporary solution, but still a SOLUTION.  Yippee, yippee, yippee, this is a prime example of a positive outcome from focusing on the solution.
This temporary solution has actually worked out much better than I expected, a billion percent better……and it’s now got me thinking, that the place  I am at now, this “temporary” place, was actually a permanent piece of the jigsaw puzzle.
I am currently working on a more permanent solution to my career, but that needs more reflection and more time to get me to the next destination. Â I now have absolute full clarity on what I need going forward, the misty fog has cleared and there are very beautiful and very bright days ahead.
Please remember, FOCUS ON THE SOLUTION, not the problem and LIVE THE SOLUTION, even if it is temporary, you just never know where it may lead you.
Thank you for being here and thank you for commenting.
Lots of love to you today, as always,
Clarabelle 🙂 🙂 🙂

Guest Post by Steve Davis
Guest Blogger of the Month
I am delighted to share with you today a Guest Post from Steve Davis in relation to leading and working with a team.  Steve is a highly motivated and inspirational individual and I would also encourage you to visit his empowering blog http://stevendavisuk.com/

Guest Post by Steve Davis
Hi, I am Steve. I write an increasingly popular blog to inspire and motivate people like you and me. My goals are to help others to get drive, hunger and some passion whether it is in their professional life or personal life. For many years I have been motivating different teams with different types of people with much success. Increasing attitude, productivity and results for those I have worked with. If you would like to engage with my increasingly popular blog, please visit http://stevendavisuk.com/
I wanted to share with you 3 factors that I find are very important when leading/ working with a team.
Lead your team by example
In order to have a productive team, you must be a productive leader. Role-modelling what the employees are expected to do creates great influence, not only on the team but on the work environment itself. It will also generate enthusiasm and will inspire everybody to work more productive and harder. Sometimes it’s simply because your employees are looking up to you. Small things like being on time or being energetic may affect your employee most. This is a massive part of my game as I am always smiling and full of the well, ‘joys of spring’. However, role modelling is sometimes easily overlooked. Be careful with what you do, how you say things, and what you say to keep your team MOTIVATED.
Give ‘worthwhile’ incentives
Celebrating success within the team is HUGE. Giving your team an extra incentive aside from what they are compensated for monthly can be considered as a ‘high impact’ motivation driver. This type of motivation often applies if the performance of the whole organisation is at par with its strategy and goals, be it weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even yearly. However, keep in mind that it is not only monetary incentives that count. My team often like vouchers, ‘Reach-and-Go’s’ and any form of companywide recognition. When this was introduced to numerous teams across my company it had a positive impact on results, activity and morale! Don’t forget, ask the team what they want and compromise where possible, so your incentives will DRIVE them to win.
Listen carefully
This may seem like the easiest thing to do, but you will be surprised how hard it is to actually take on board. I know many leaders who are somewhat successful but struggle to listen. We can all hear what others are saying but to listen is challenging at best. With all your worries about your business, its targets and operations, how will you have the time to listen about how Henry forgot his lunch and now has to buy food from local amenities? It’s tough, but make a conscious effort to give that time to listen. You might think that your employees’ problems are ‘insignificant’ compared to yours, but you can’t make that call on what is important to a person and what is not. Listening to your teams concerns will be greatly appreciated. They will feel more empowered and happy since they are talking to the leader of the team.
Inspiring and motivating your team is one of the most crucial job descriptions for a leader, you can teach skills, benefits and duties but lack of motivation to the team often results to decreasing productivity and declining results. Please keep in touch http://stevendavisuk.com/
Thank You
A very special thank you to Steve for sharing this post with us, I hope you found it as valuable as I did. Â Clarabelle
If you are interested in doing a Guest Post for this Clarabelle blog, then I would really love to hear from you. Â Please send me an email to claire@murraypeople.com noting your interest. Â Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

2013 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog. Â Thank you, love Clarabelle
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 15,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
WOW, Thank YOU
Blog’s Progress
Only 4 days ago I shared a blog stats post with you, I was so delighted that I reached over 18,000 blog hits. Â I remember it used to take me over a month to receive over 1000 blog hits and yes, you’ve guessed it, I’ve reached over 19,000 blog hits now. Start Up
I started this blog up in April 2012 to originally share my own poetry with you. Â I remember looking at all the hundreds of poems I had written but had never really shared them with anyone, hence the idea for the blog came about.
It’s quite funny because this blog wasn’t planned, it wasn’t on my list of things to achieve and wasn’t a specific goal I set out to do at the beginning of year. Â It was something that just came over me that day, I remember having a quiet solitude moment to myself and in popped the idea.
I had started a blog prior to this one in 2009 which related to my Murray People Coaching Business but I wasn’t consistent with my blog posts and therefore that blog then became redundant.
Something about Clarabelle
But…. and I mean a BIG BUT HERE, there is something about this Clarabelle blog that I just, quite simply, love.  I think I am in love with it hahahahah.  🙂  I know this because of how excited I am to write blog posts almost everyday.
If you’re a regular visitor to this blog you will now know that I don’t only share my poetry, I share my thoughts on topics around self help, personal development, coaching tools, songwriting, songs, guest bloggers, interesting conversations I have, road running, birthday celebrations, eBooks, quotations, affirmations, photography, music etc….basically anything that I feel passionate about writing.
So why am I sharing all this with you?
Well, I really really do value YOU for visiting this blog and I feel it is important for me to give you a voice and tell me what you like about this blog and what you don’t like. Please feel free to note your responses on the comments section below or email me at claire@murraypeople.com. Â I will use your valuable feedback to make this blog even better because I am committed to it and I am committed to give YOU more of what you really like.
So, beautiful people, open up your voice box and let me know what you really think. Thank you and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Question for YOU: Â What do you like/dislike about this blog and why?

The Meaning Behind Each Value
I Live and Breathe These Values Everyday
In my previous post I shared with you the 8 connected core values for the Clarabelle Blog. I also shared with you that the meaning behind each value is the most important part. This evening I have been working on the meaning for each value and I have detailed this below for you.  I live and breathe these values everyday and I will endeavour to demonstrate these values throughout the Clarabelle Blog.  Thank you so much for being part of this journey.  Much love to you Clarabelle.  🙂
Below are the 8 core values that the Clarabelle Blog lives by:
- LOVE-LIFE
- DREAM-DO
- GIVE-GRATITUDE
- HEALTH-HAPPINESS
Below is what each value means:

Connected Core Values
Purpose and Passion
I have been working on the core values for the Clarabelle blog.  Values are really important to me and I believe they hold the foundations together and are the glue for any business, organisation or company to grow on.  In my other business, Murray People Executive Coaching I work with Company Directors and Senior Executives in helping them define their own core values and the values for their business, it can be quite an enlightening experience for them.
Below is an image I created today of the 8 connected core values which the Clarabelle blog lives by, these are: Â
- LOVE-LIFE
- DREAM-DO
- GIVE-GRATITUDE
- HEALTH-HAPPINESS.
What is most important though is not necessarily the words, it is the meaning behind each of these words which add purpose and passion to each value. Â I will be doing another blog post in the near future explaining what each of these values mean.
What values do you hold close to your heart?

I love this book, I love it because it is providing me with evidence that I am on the right path – I know I am, and I also know that I should be sharing this post with you today, because it feels right, I have a calling to share it with you so YOU will benefit too.  I guess then if you are reading this post, you were meant to read it, there is a message in here for you, reflect on the message, feel it in your heart and do what you need to do, do the right thing for you.
The book if full of wisdom, the words connect with my heart and soul. Â Let me share with you some questions the book asks the reader in relation to discovering your gift, this section was called “Finding Your Assets”, I will also share my own responses with you….so here goes:
What does my source say?
Love with all your heart, show love, do love, be love.Â
What am I meant to do?
Sing like an Angel, write beautiful songs that touch hearts, inspire souls, awaken happy spirits and ignite passion inside others.
What is working for me in my life right now?
Running free, blogging, singing, dancing, music, reading, friends, loving, letting go, sharing, expressing, coaching, understanding, empathy, caring, smiling, meeting, positive communication, giving love, care and attention, reflecting, being brave, listening to my heart, believing my intuition, doing what feels rights, having peace from within, staying calm, being transparent, being me, being forever grateful, being happy now.
If I could do anything I want as a career, and money was not an object, what would I choose to do?Â
Singer/Songwriter, Author, Writing Inspirational Books, Sharing my story, Autobiography, Doing Gigs/Concerts, Blogging, Winning Euro-Vision, Red Carpet Awards, Coaching, having fun, laughter, love, joy and peace in my heart everyday. Â Â Â
Happiness
I have happiness dancing inside of me, I know I am on the right path, because I am doing a lot of the above and I am currently making plans to make them all happen. Â This isn’t about me, it is about discovering a gift that is meant to be shared with the world, this gift will raise the vibrations of other people, it will have such a positive impact on them and like a domino effect will touch other hearts…..it will be paid forward every single time, it will be continuous positive energy, growing and growing and growing across the Universe, such goodness will come from this, the positive impact is so powerful indeed.
I will share with you the final few sentences from this section in the book:
“We can certainly hold on to whatever it is we think is precious about ourselves, but that’s not how we grow. Â If you want to see your world blossom in front of you, find a way to give your assets away. Â It’s an investment in your future.”
I want you to take time to reflect on the above questions for you, really think about the real message that is coming through for you. Â Now go on and just be you.
Lots of love to you today, Â Clarabelle
