A new year is coming, this is a great time for you to decide to make positive changes in your life, you can’t turn the clock back anyway so you might as well look forward to a brighter future where new beginnings meet happy endings.

Just decide, make a plan and do…..go on, do it, I know you want to. Â Think about how good it will feel when you have achieved it, yes it might be hard work but when you overcome those daily challenges it will uplift your spirits and make you feel great inside. Progress is a wonderful thing, even if it’s just baby steps to achieving a better a life, a better you, when you look back you’ll see how far you have come.
The birth of a new year is a new opportunity to strengthen yourself from within and achieve all that your heart desires.

Only 4 days ago I shared a blog stats post with you, I was so delighted that I reached over 18,000 blog hits. Â I remember it used to take me over a month to receive over 1000 blog hits and yes, you’ve guessed it, I’ve reached over 19,000 blog hits now. Â The last 4 days has been amazing for this blog and Christmas Eve was my busiest day ever on this blog to date, with 466 hits, thank YOU so much. Â I am so amazed by this blog’s progress, I really love posting to this blog and I do hope it shows because I get so much from it and I really hope you do too. Â So thank YOU once again for making this happen, I really do love you for it and I hope you stay on this wonderful journey with me. Â Lots of love to you today and always, Clarabelle.

I hope you had the most beautiful Christmas Day and that you are feeling very grateful for the loved ones you have in your life right now. Â Christmas is over for another year and I want to now shift focus on this blog to celebrating the abundance that is coming to you in the new year ahead.

Why all the hype? I hear you say.

Why is this date, one to remember?
I’ll tell you what Christmas, means to me,
It’s a day filled with love, to spend with family.
A time to rejoice and have faith in all good,
A time for unity, in your neighbourhood.
Christmas will come, and Christmas will go,
But to ignore this present, is like a heart with no glow.
Because Christmas is a gift, so special and true,
It’s like falling in love, the bond needs no glue.
So breathe in life, on this Christmas morn,
Smile through any heartache, be glad you are born.
Believe you are loved, forever and a day.
You are held in many hearts, as Angels pray.
And the candle that burns, is shining so bright,

I can honestly the words in this poem “The New Me” definitely ring true for me and I am happy to say that I feel that I am “The New Me” – not a different person but just more of who I really am…..I suppose you could say I have come home.  My treasure trove,
revealed it to be.
A vision of faith,
I believe in it all,

A very warm and cosy welcome to Day 7 of my Christmas Poems leading up to Christmas Day.
I LOVE a wee mince pie at Christmas, funny thing is, when I was a child I never really liked them at all but now I really do.  I could go a Christmas mince pie, right now.  🙂  Enjoy the scrumptious festive food this Christmastime and please don’t worry about overindulging, because it’s not what you eat in between Christmas and New Year that matters, it’s what you eat between New Year and Christmas.  Yummy, Yummy!!
A mince pie at Christmas,
Is scrumptious and yummy.
I love this little treat,
and so does my tummy.
You can have it hot,
or fresh and cool.
Whatever way you like it,
it will make your mouth drool.
So grab a cuppa coffee,
sit down and relax,
Enjoy a Christmas mince pie,
fill your taste buds to the max!!

I was walking home from my mum’s house the other day (17.09.12) and I found myself really embracing the moment, it was so beautiful and everything just felt perfect. Â A phrase popped into my head at that time, “the piano in my heart” and I just knew I had to write a poem about it. Â So here it is. Â Happy New Year to YOU…..Happiness is the Way!! Happiness is the Way
The piano in my heart, plays for you,
The sweetest musical notes, so whole and true.
The solitude of love, needs no home,
On this journey of life, wherever I do roam.
Happiness is the key, happiness is the way,
The polished ivory effect, shines today.
Listen in the silence, it whispers in the breeze,
Sparkling in the moonlight, stardust on the trees.
The voice within my soul, sings without a cue,
Touching my spirit, connecting with every part of you.

Life can be really really tough sometimes, it can throw you curve ball after curve ball, whilst you’re climbing up the highest mountain, in the toughest terrain and then just when you think you’re getting somewhere, down comes the avalanche!! Â You may not realise it, but this is where the lighting strikes, this is where the miracle happens….saturated in doubts and drenched in tears, your heart and soul gets to work and creates a special magic inside of you, which reaches out and touches the stars. Â When you feel the deepest pain, believe me, it’s the start of your healing. How do I know?……I’ve been there. Â The New Year is just around the corner, there is life after 2012, I see it is so very special for you, full of love and abundance. My inner calling told me to share this with you today…….sometimes we all need a helping hand – listen to the whispers of your heart, for they only speak truth to you. There’s a Champion in YOU!!
Your light shines brighter, in the dark,
Your heart beats stronger, but leaves no mark.
The soul reconnects, to all of you,
The mountain climb, is in full view.
Pause for a second, feel the calmness in the air,
Your inner being, has much love to share.
The battle ain’t over, but YOU will win,
Believe it and see it, hold up that chin.
Because sometimes we fall, and keep on falling,
Tumbling down the hill, away from our calling.

Nothing feels worse, but please trust, in what I say,

The eyes cannot see it, as the mind struggles on,
But it’s burning down the virus, until it’s all gone.
