Poetry Corner #10

Tomorrow is a chance

A very warm hello to you. Every Thursday is Poetry Corner. My poems can be soulful, loving, joyful and encouraging – all at the one time. Here’s a happy one for you.

Happy Dance

Choose to make,
each brand new day,
full of life,
everything your way.

With a smiling heart,
and uplifted soul,
start your day,
to reach any goal.

You don't need sunshine,
or rainbows above,
give all your energy,
and lots of self love.

So decide today,
tomorrow is a chance,
to dive out of bed,
and do a happy dance.

Poetry Corner #9

Giving you a sign

Good day to you. Every Thursday is Poetry Corner. Enjoy the poem below from the Clarablle Collection of Original Poems.

Lucky White Feather

I see it floating,
passing me by,
falling so softly,
down from the sky.

They say it is lucky,
a gift from above,
a symbol of connection,
filled with true love.

I follow it quietly,
drifting in time,
freely dancing,
simply sublime.

This lucky white feather,
represents life,
truth and tranquility,
no trouble or strife.

So next time you see one,
believe its for you,
giving you a sign,
that you'll make it through.

Thank You Canada

As a special thank you to all my blog visitors from around the world, I am dedicating a poem to all the people from each country. USA and India were shared on previous posts and now it’s time to thank all the lovely people from Canada – yes you!!

My Canadian Friends

The red maple leaf,
On your flag.
Represents life,
And my “thank you” tag.
You’ve visited me,
Reading my posts
My Canadians friends,
You’re Perfect hosts.
Many miles we are apart,
Canada might seem far.
But you’re here in my heart.

I Told Him So

Romance is in the air, spreading the love through a poetic verse or two……enjoy.

I Told Him So

I told him so
I love him dearly
I feel his heart
I see it clearly
Many footsteps,
May seem afar
Our love grows
Beyond the star
Dust will settle
On magical ground
The bell rings
I hear his sound
A smile for you
A tear for me
I told him so
I love him dearly

There’s Something in the Air

I had a fascinating conversation with my mum today and my interpretation of that chat is shared in this poem below. She started it with “There’s something in the air…..”

There’s Something in the Air

There’s something in the air,
I feel it in my heart.
I’m not sure what it is,
Or when it all did start?

It’s a strange sensation,
Floating around me.
Connected to your being,
With friends and family.

I do believe it’s good,
Nothing there to fear.
There’s been lots changes,
In and around here.

I never really say this,
Call it intuition.
Bringing better vibes,
Welcoming the transition.

So travel on this journey,
For there I see a sign,
Shining on your heart,
So beautiful and divine.

You’ve been so very brave,
Starting all over again.
Breaking down the barriers,
Freeing you from pain.

I do believe it’s fate,
Knocking on your door.
Giving you new experiences,
Encouraging you to explore.

I now see your commitment,
I know your soul breathes in.
Strength and fighting spirit,
Serendipity will win.

Enough is Enough

IMG_3458

I wrote this poem to inspire you:

Enough is Enough

Enough is Enough,
That’s what he said.
Forget the past,
Get out of bed.
When all ain’t well,
When times get bad.
Remember the happy,
Not the sad.
Focus on giving,
Give all you’ve got.
Put yourself first,
Pick up your trot.
Set mini goals,
Ones you’ll achieve.
Momentum will build,
The more you’ll believe.
The time has come,
Be all you can be,
Take a stance now,
Forever you’ll be free.

By Clarabelle.

It’s your life, go get it!!

Mr Bee

Springtime Poetry

Here’s a springtime poem for you, enjoy the beauty of nature around you.  Happy weekend, love Clarabelle.

Mr Bee Poem

Mr Bee
The bee flies into my window,
Not sure what he doesn’t see.
He’s trying to get in,
And I’m getting out of me.
If only this little bee,
Knew how lucky he was.
He’d be buzzing about the flowers,
Not putting his life on pause.
Oh little bee, stay away from this box,
Spend time making honey, under the rocks.
Springtime is here, it’s waiting for you,
Mr Bee, I’ll come out and join you too.

Heart with a View

Poem Mode

I’ve been back in poem mode recently and have written some deep thinking “look in the mirror” poems recently.  I wrote the one below, this evening, it’s entitled “Heart with a View”, I hope you like it.  Love, Clarabelle

Love heart

Heart with a View

You, yes you,
with the broken smile.
What’s your story,
on this rainbow mile?
Why do the tears,
run down your face.?
Why the sadness,
in a heartfelt place?
Invisible chains,
keep you stuck.
Thoughts of fears,
and “wish me luck”.
But just around the corner,
a harp plays for you,
Its melody so precious,
like a heart with a view.
Just one more step,
nudge forward a little more.
The pitter-patter of your feet,
reveals treasures to explore.
For this life is an adventure,
a colour one.
It offers you everything,
under the sun.
So feel these whispers,
as they talk to you.
The cloud is an angel,
guiding you through.

What is a Talent?

Strengths Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath
Know your strengths

I would like to recommend a book to you today, it is called Strengths Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath, Tom is also a New York Times Bestselling Author of the book “Wellbeing”.

I really love the Strengths Finder book because it helps you to identify what your top 5 strengths/talents are and provides you with a 19 page individualised report which coaches you into thinking how you can utilise your strengths more in your everyday life and work.

My top 5 strengths are:

1.  Futuristic – People who are especially talented in the Futuristic theme are inspired by the future and what could be. They inspire others with their visions of the future.

2.  Maximiser – People who are especially talented in the Maximiser theme focus on strengths as a way to stimulate personal and group excellence. They seek to transform something strong into something superb.

3.  Positivity – People who are especially talented in the Positivity theme have an enthusiasm that is contagious.  They are upbeat and can get others excited about what they are going to do.

4.  Woo – People who are especially talented in the Woo theme love the challenge of meeting new people and winning them over. They derive satisfaction from breaking the ice and making a connection with another person.

5.  Strategic –  People who are especially talented in the Strategic theme create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.

The following poem is also inspired by the above, I do hope you like it.

What is a Talent?

What is a talent?  What is a strength?

How is it measured?  What is its length?

Only you, can experience the feelings,

Passionate moments, purposeful healings.

Recognise this quality, treasure it well,

Captivating hearts, like a magical spell.

Your audience awaits, imagination is high,

A hypnotic transcendence, go on just fly.

My Beautiful Mum
My Beautiful Mum

A Mother in a Million

Mother you are so beautiful, in every single way,

You brighten up each moment, and listen to what I say.

Your love is so very special, to each and everyone,

You’re a mother in a million, stronger than the sun.

I love you so dearly, more than you’ll ever know,

Thank you my wonderful mother, your wisdom has helped me grow.
