How are you?

Hi there, this is a rather more informal blog posting, I was just wondering how you were, are you doing okay out there or maybe you’re doing even better than okay? So, please may I ask you,

How are you today?

I’d like to know more about you. 🙂

Love Clarabelle

PS: I’m happily enjoying a lovely cup of Earl Grey tea at the moment, and it’s, well, just lovely.

Focus Goal Card Journal

Start Up

I started this blog up in April 2012 to originally share my own poetry with you.  I remember looking at all the hundreds of poems I had written but had never really shared them with anyone, hence the idea for the blog came about.

It’s quite funny because this blog wasn’t planned, it wasn’t on my list of things to achieve and wasn’t a specific goal I set out to do at the beginning of year.  It was something that just came over me that day, I remember having a quiet solitude moment to myself and in popped the idea.

I had started a blog prior to this one in 2009 which related to my Murray People Coaching Business but I wasn’t consistent with my blog posts and therefore that blog then became redundant.

Something about Clarabelle

But…. and I mean a BIG BUT HERE, there is something about this Clarabelle blog that I just, quite simply, love.  I think I am in love with it hahahahah.  🙂   I know this because of how excited I am to write blog posts almost everyday.

If you’re a regular visitor to this blog you will now know that I don’t only share my poetry, I share my thoughts on topics around self help, personal development, coaching tools, songwriting, songs, guest bloggers, interesting conversations I have, road running, birthday celebrations, eBooks, quotations, affirmations, photography, music etc….basically anything that I feel passionate about writing.

So why am I sharing all this with you?

Well, I really really do value YOU for visiting this blog and I feel it is important for me to give you a voice and tell me what you like about this blog and what you don’t like. Please feel free to note your responses on the comments section below or email me at claire@murraypeople.com.  I will use your valuable feedback to make this blog even better because I am committed to it and I am committed to give YOU more of what you really like.

So, beautiful people, open up your voice box and let me know what you really think. Thank you and I look forward to hearing your feedback.

Question for YOU:  What do you like/dislike about this blog and why?

Life Lessons

Every person who comes into your life teaches you a lesson, whether they are in it for a day, a month or a lifetime.  Think about the people you have crossed paths with, what did they teach you?  You could even flip this question on the other side and ask the person “What did I teach you?.  I don’t mean this in an egotistical way, I mean in a very spiritual way.

From Negative to Positive

Sometimes you never really know the real difference you make to a person’s life until they actually tell you.  I know there is a person out there who you have inspired, motivated, shared true wisdom with, really helped them by listening to them with empathy, boosted their self-esteem and confidence, helped them to become more authentic to themselves and helped them to listen to their heart and change their thoughts from negative to positive.

Think about this today, what did another person teach you or what did you teach another person?

Sometimes we are oblivious to the beautiful lessons around us, until we stop, think and reflect on them.  Maybe it’s now time to reflect upon that.  🙂

Wishing you a day filled with positive thoughts, love Clarabelle.

How Do You Know You Are Growing?

A Question for You to Ponder

Welcome to my monthly post, where I post a question for you to answer (I will share my answer with you too). You may not wish to answer straight away, you may wish to contemplate the question for a few minutes/hours/days or even a couple of weeks.  You don’t even need to post the answer on here, but it would be nice if you would and share your answers with others.  So here is your question for this month:

How do you know you are growing?
How do you know you are growing?

How do you know you are growing?

Here is my answer:

  • I have a greater sense of self-awareness and I practice mindfulness.
  • I am having different kinds of meaningful conversations with different people from around the world.
  • I am deliberately learning every day – educating myself on personal mastery, business, love and life fulfillment.
  • I welcome a broader range of learning and I am open to new ideas that inspire my imagination and creativity.
  • I am sharing my learning, every day.
  • I am progressing towards my goal achievement – I see and feel the results.
  • I am committed to making me a better me and I am enjoying the NOW.
  • I am always moving outside of my comfort zone into my learning/stretch zone.
  • I dare to dream and have big plans for the future.
  • I practice courage every day and see the value in being brave, facing my fears and getting on with life.
  • I am grateful, so very very grateful for everything I have in my life right now – my health, my home, my happiness.
  • I help people, more than I ever have, I make time to help people because this is what I love to do.
  • I sing, I dance, I run in the rain, I laugh, I cry and I don’t hold onto the sweet memories of the past, they are very special however there are many more special moments to be enjoyed now and in the future.
  • I love and I have an abundance of self-love.
  • I pray, for self and for others, this brings much peace to my heart and mind.
  • I am not frightened anymore to show my vulnerable side, I see this is a real strength.
  • I know I am stronger, I feel stronger, I look stronger from the outside and inside.
  • I am positive, optimistic, enthusiastic and full of energy….I know my heart and soul is alive.
  • I am excited about life now and all that could and will be.
  • I am making music, writing songs and the child in me is smiling.
  • I am becoming me, nothing more, nothing less and it feels so good.
  • I believe in me, I have faith, I am truly unique.
  • I believe in YOU, you are all of the above and more.

What makes you tick?

Welcome to my newly monthly post, where I will post a question for you to answer (I will share my answer with you too).  You may not wish to answer straight away, you may wish to contemplate the question for a few minutes/hours/days or even a couple of weeks.  You don’t even need to post the answer on here, but it would be nice if you would and share your answers with others.  So here is your question for March 2013:

What makes you tick?
What makes you tick?

What makes you tick?

Here is my answer:

Creating meaningful poetry from my heart and soul and sharing it with you.Â
