Icy Puddles

I was out walking the other day and took the photo below, I just thought the scenery around me was stunning. Beautiful Bonny Scotland, on a winter’s day.

Icy Puddles

Icy puddles,
Reflecting on me.
Frosty edges,
Pure beauty.
Landscape wonders,
Spellbound eyes,
A magical mirror,
Full of surprise.

Mr and Mrs Snowman

A little Christmas festive poem to you from me. May Christmas spirit rejoice in your heart forever.

Mr and Mrs Snowman

There was a competition,
Whose snowman was the best.
All the villagers took part,
This was a frosty test.

Snowmen of different sizes,
Displayed a smiley face.
They stood there icy proud,
In this marshmallow place.

But one thing that stood out,
Oh so very clear.
Was all of the snowmen,
Were alone this Christmas Year.

How can you build a snowman,
All alone in this town.
That’s not very fair,
His heart will have a frown.

No snowman should be lonely,
At this Christmas time.
They should be with another,
Sharing mistletoe and wine.

Then in the corner,
A house on a quiet spot.
Had two snowmen standing,
Beside a tiny tot.

Why do you have two,
Snowmen standing tall?
One is a lady she said,
Both going to the snowman ball.

Oh little one,
How beautiful that is.
Mr and Mrs Snowman,
Can share a Christmas kiss.

See them holding hands,
She whispers in the air
Mr and Mrs Snowman,
Now have each other to care.

The people they all smiled,
For indeed their hearts did melt.
This little bundle of joy,
Revealed feelings they never felt.

You are the winner,
A snowman trophy goes to you.
You ignited Christmas spirit,
Removing lonely by building two.

Thank you she said,
This is a happy day.
Now we’re all happy together,
Like one big family.

Mr and Mrs Snowman,
Were built to live together.
May the story of who made them,
Live in your heart forever.

Christmas is the Best

Pink Fluffy Hat

I treated myself to a very cosy pink faux fur hat at the weekend, I saw it, loved it, tried it on, bought it and wore it straight away – “no bag please, I’m just going to wear it”.  Below is a recent photo of me in my new winter’s hat.

So this has inspired my Christmas Poem for Day 12.  I do hope you like it, it’s just a little sweet fun one.

Christmas is the Best

Christmas is fun,
for everyone.
Smiles in our eyes,
a happy surprise.
A pink fluffy hat,
wear it like that.
A champagne drink,
a mistletoe wink.
Love and joy,
a funny toy.
Christmas is the best,
it beats all the rest.

And then it Snowed!!

Winter's Day in Scotland

Christmas Love

A very warm Christmas love welcome to you and to Day 8 of sharing a Christmas poem with you everyday until Christmas Day.

A Winter’s Day

I love to look out on a Winter’s Day, snow softly falling beneath the soft pink sky and unique tranquility in the air that you can really only feel and not describe with words.  This next Christmas poem is inspired by just that.  Stay snug and warm this Christmas.  Christmas love to you, Clarabelle.

And then it snowed!

A child in the moment,
I look up to the sky.
A mesmerising pink,
I’m flyng high.

For in this beauty,
everything glowed.
Lost in the tranquility
and then it snowed!!

I run outside,
I wanted to feel.
Snowflakes on my face,
this magic was real.

Whiter than white,
but really not that cold.
Amongst this miracle scenery,
secret dreams I hold.

I look up to the light,
white blobs fall fast.
Connected to the now,
I hope this will last.

And as I close the door,
on this winter wonderland.
I feel blessed and so grateful,
as snowflakes melt in my hand.

A Miracle is in the Air

Not long till spring time, yet I wake up this morning to a pretty blanket of white snow (see photo below, taken this morning, of the trees in my garden).  As winter takes its last breath and holds on, I decide to write some poetry.  I feel a light inner calmness in me as I look outside, the perfect mode for the heart and soul to sing.  A miracle is in the air, I can feel it and it’s making its way to you today.  Much love to you Clarabelle.

A Miracle is in the Air

It’s the middle of March, it silently falls,

Snowy roof tops, icy halls.

Angels whisper,  a miracle is in the air,

Lovingly white snowflakes, caress my hair.

It’s nearly spring, yet winter holds on,

White candy floss, now covers my lawn.

It looks very pretty, fresh and clear,

Winter’s last calling, at this time of year.

I stare at its beauty, it brings calmness in me,

The brightest white, on my conifer tree

A picture perfect, is in front of my eyes

Mixed seasons, can be wonderous, a magical surprise.

A Vision of Love

This photograph below was taken on a beautiful winter’s day in Bonny Scotland, a stunning little place called Balmaha.  It inspired this next inspirational quote.  May you open your heart today and see an inspirational vision of love right there in front of you.  Clarabelle

Merry Christmas Everyone

Sweet Christmas love,

A snowflake coloured dove.

Princess angels in the sky,

Robin Redbreasts flying high.

Icy winter is calling,

Midnight stars are falling.

Loving mistletoe kisses,

Little children’s wishes.

Mystical magical fun,

Merry Christmas everyone.

Sweet Balmaha Bay

Scotland has the most beautiful scenery, I am so grateful to be living here.  This next poem is inspired by my visit last year to Balmaha, Scotland (photo below) on a frosty winter’s day.  This magical little beauty spot left me with a diamond experience.  If you ever come to Scotland, this place is certainly worth a visit, you’ll never forget it.  Wishing you  a diamond day, lots of love Clarabelle.

Sweet Balmaha Bay

Balmaha, an inspiring place,
Oh how I love, your beautiful face.
The silent lake, speaks many words,
A magical paradise, beneath the flight of birds.
My soul’s at home, when I visit you,
I feel at one, below the sky so blue.
As I tie a yellow ribbon, around the old oak tree,
I appreciate your world, for all to see.
The air is clean, fresh and new,
The shimmering sunlight, makes a stunning view.
And the many boats, who sail in leisure,
Uplifting spirits, you provide great pleasure.
In hail or rain, sunshine or snow,
Your tranquil beauty, will always show.
For the depths of your heart, are in everyone,
Sweet Balmaha Bay under the horizon sun.
