My Soldier

Be brave, my soldier,
Courageous is your soul.
In your darkest night,
Let love make you whole.

Be hopeful, my soldier,
Trudging through the snow.
The coldness won’t kill you.
Believe me, I know.

Be strong, my soldier.
Let nothing break you.
The wind carries strength,
In all that you do.

Be compassionate, my soldier,
From dusk till dawn
Your loved ones fight with you,
Let your heart hold on.

Be patient, my soldier,
For no other, keeps the key.
I’m flying with your spirit,
Till you return to me.
