ILLUMINATION

As time ticked on

And age showed its mark

I was looking for the light

A natural spark

A purpose, a thought

A life with meaning

An awakened spirit

A powerful healing

I found the answer

In stillness of being

It illuminated the path

Now that I’m seeing

The future of hope

Doesn’t live out there

It’s a memory of yesterday

So precious and rare

Nothing is beyond me

Change is done

This new world of learning

Is how dreams are won
