Today’s post is a very special dedication to thanking YOU for being here and supporting this Clarabelle Blog with your valued presence, good energy and kind thoughts.
I love to write for us both and as you probably know, a lot of the time, I’m talking to myself in these posts – trying to give you and me some needed words of encouragement.
Life doesn’t run perfectly at all – we have good days, we have bad days and everything else in between but if I can cheer you up or ignite some inner motivation whilst you’re here – then that’s what makes my day.
So, THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH for spending your precious time reading my posts and I really do hope they offer you some true value in your life.
We’re all in this together and it’s important to support to each other.
I hope you’re having a truly wonderful day – I really do.
I was reflecting today (28 October 2022) on how much I love writing poetry, so much so, that I decided to change this whole Clarabelle blog into one GIGANTIC POETIC VISION.
So you will see that some things have changed around here and my main aim will be to continue to write poetry daily and share it with you. Going back to my roots and keeping it simple.
I will still add in some empowerment food for thought along the way but my strong focus now, going forward is, quite simply, to write poems and share them with you.
So there you have it. Poetry all the way.
The Clarabelle Podcast will now become the Clarabelle Poetry Podcast and I will share my spoken word poetry with you.
The motivational and encouraging posts will now be entwined in some sort of poetic format.
The videos I create, will all be poetic.
The Clarabelle products on sale currently all contain poetic verses and I will continue with this.
Basically, I will have a POETIC EMPIRE evolving before your eyes.
So that’s it for today. I am currently in Bonny Scotland visiting my lovely Mum who is celebrating her 80th birthday but I will continue to write on here daily whilst away.
MY SWEET SWEET MEMORIES FROM THE LATE 70S & EARLY 80S
You could leave your house door open during the night;
You could go for an early sole run in the park with no fear;
You would chat outside to your next door neighbour for hours;
No one carried a mobile phone and everyone coped fine;
Children played in large groups outside after school;
Local playgrounds were filled with children, without the need for parents being there;
Children used their imagination and played ‘made up’ games with their friends;
You only had one true best friend but it was called a ‘best pal’;
We didn’t have a landline at home and no one really cared;
All family dinners were home made;
A holiday was going on family day trips to the closest seaside location;
There was only three TV channels and we felt spoiled for choice;
If you could afford a taxi, you were rich;
If you missed the bus, you had to wait another hour on the next one;
Those tiny bronze half pence pieces existed and you felt you had loads of money;
Children would jump for joy with a 10 pence mix up;
Children played water fights during the summer holidays with empty washing up liquid bottles;
Everyone in the community knew each other and looked out for each other;
Hardly anyone had a car;
Getting a 50 pence toy from the local shop, felt like Christmas;
The milkman delivered your glass bottles of milk on your front door step every morning;
As children, we played, football rounders, hide and seek, skipping ropes, kick the can, hopscotch, obstacle courses, sprint races, tennis, swingball, talent shows…and all outdoors!
My Dad, Grans, Granda, Aunties, Uncle, Godmother and some good School Pals were all living back then – now sadly missed . . . . . . oh how I remember when!

I love outdoor running, I find it energising and therapeutic at the same time. I have noticed that when I take a break from running for a few months or so, I don’t feel as good.
This morning, I did an early morning run to the Italian Fountains in Hyde Park, London – it was beautiful and so refreshing.
Running is something I have enjoyed since a child and I guess my love for it has stayed the same.
I think it’s important in life to do something that you love and is very good for you. Think about what activities give you the greatest enjoyment and uplift your energy.
I encourage you to support your body and mind in your daily habits – it has such a positive knock-on effect in everything in your life.
So whether you’re, running for the hills today or rolling down the hills – stay in that ‘feel good” mode.
In the purest sunlight, the heart shines on like a beacon of love, dancing in the deepest cave of hope.
It is in this magnetic power a new mind is born and faraway horizons seem so close you can touch them.
Maybe all of the things in life, that don’t seem to make sense, were never to be thought about in that way.
What if, you were supposed to stay so present in each moment that thoughts of fear and doubt never ever manifested.
True thought can steer your mind in different directions – and the body, if in conflict or alignment with that thinking, will honour its preferred state of being.
Is your mind leading the way or is it your body? I think neither! I believe the magical field that surrounds your being always empowers the best out of you. It’s time to let this heavenly power communicate with your senses and create miracles through you.
You have everything you need, right here, right now to go far beyond what you think you are capable of achieving.
The sun’s energy cannot exist without you, that’s how important you are to this world.
I tried so hard,
to win your heart,
I gave it my all,
right from the start.
I guess you didn't,
want that too,
I felt your resistance,
through and through.
So I moved on,
then you came back,
for another go,
to get on the right track.
My soul felt heavy,
for this buried hurt,
cannot be separated,
from cold dirt.
I set you free,
to live and learn,
deep true love,
you have to earn.
It takes respect,
trust and forgiving,
loyalty and smiles,
the same joint vision.
Goodbye my precious,
may you find your one,
to my dreams on the horizon
every mile I run.

What is love,
without surprise,
a caring thought,
heartfelt eyes.
What is kindness,
without the giving,
touching lives,
soulful living.
What is forgiveness,
without a prayer,
sharing you,
unique and rare.
What is gratitude,
without the knowing,
a thankful bond,
a miracle glowing.
What is here,
without your presence,
healing time,
your very essence.

When the wild wind blows,
and you're down on your knees,
begging for mercy,
praying for please.
Lift your head high,
stand up tall,
break down those barriers,
give life your all.
Many would hope,
for your inner strength,
running on empty,
but going every length.
Your champion heart,
can carry you forever,
up the highest mountain,
across each raging river.
See yourself winning,
battling each storm,
building the new,
challenging the norm.

Thank you, I am so very grateful indeed, to you, for visiting this blog, for viewing my blog posts, commenting, sharing, reblogging, I thank YOU.
35,000 views, woo hoo, I am so excited, I guess I must be doing something right, I guess I must be doing a lot right and I guess I will keep on writing to YOU, always and forever, for as long as I am here and I can write and inspire you, I will.
How do you know you are strong, how do you really know, have you tested your inner strength recently? Why not test it again over the next few days, weeks, months?…I encourage you to set yourself a goal, a goal that will challenge your inner being, a goal that when you reach it, you know that you are even more stronger that you could ever imagine.
Make a commitment to yourself to be brave, to release your courageous soul into the universe and let it unleash your greatest potential to fight for that goal. Â Make sure it’s a goal worth fighting for and if it is……well I already know you’ve made it, I already know and you do too.
