When times are tough and you’re feeling rough

When thunder roars and the rain pours

When happiness goes and the wild wind blows

When you’re lost in the crowd and don’t feel proud
Just smile
When hope departs and there’s broken hearts
Just smile
When the bee stings and no one sings
Just smile
When darkness falls and there’s only brick walls
Just smile
When you want to be you, when you want to be true
Just smile
When you smile, you bring love and light
