Break the Chains

A starry night,
A blissful morn.
Another routine,
There goes the car horn.

A rush, a rumble,
A dash to the door.
Caught up in the moment,
Head to the floor.

Then all of a sudden,
The alarm bells ring.
How did this happen?
What did I bring?

Is my life,
just passing me by?
Am I really happy?
I ponder and sigh.

To break the chains,
To let it all go.
Would test my bravery,
Against, “go with…
