How to Make a Difference?

There is a leader in each and everyone of us.

You make a difference by firstly focussing on changing yourself for the better and then that has a real positive effect on others around you.

I never read a personal development book until I was in my 30s and then I was super hooked on how the teachings in those books had a positive influence on my thinking and then ultimately my doing.

You’ve probably heard the term “Leaders are Readers” and I think, there is a lot of truth in that popular saying.

Do you see yourself as a Leader or someone who likes to sit back and be led?

Personally, I think there is a leader in each and everyone of us and if you feel you’re not leading right now, it’s up to you to make the self-adjustment.

A leader doesn’t benefit from being loud, over confident or bullish in their ways and if you are currently experiencing that – then you’re definitely being wrongly led!

Sometimes, and more often than not, the BEST leaders are calm, focussed, quitely confident, deep listeners, super observant and highly self-aware. Great leaders are fully engaged in each and every person they influence. These type of leaders bring out positive energy in others, empowering untapped potential, leading to significant action. In my opinion, Leaders who truly shine, blend coaching and mentoring skills with experience and wisdom.

A true leader wants to bring out the best leadership qualities in others, then stands back, to see them soar.

Enhancing your attributes in self-leadership is one magnificent way to make a difference.

Please remember – Leadership isn’t only a ‘work’ thing – it’s a LIFE thing!
