I put my car into the garage this morning to get some much needed repairs done and on the way back I popped into the local cafe for a coffee and a scone, before the 3 mile trek back home.  I always take my writing pad with me everywhere I go, because you never know when a creative moment will take over!!  In the space of 20 minutes I was on my third poem, I just couldn’t stop writing. . . . .which was truly wonderful for me, I love it when that happens.  This next poem is the third poem I wrote from my short time being in the coffee shop, I think it may resonate with all of you creative writers out there. Forever Inspiring

Just one more poem and I’m on my way

The ‘creative flow’, wants to stay

I sip my coffee and write some more

One by one, words dance through the door

Handwriting gets faster, I’m lost in time

People come and go, I continue to rhyme

Focus is strong, it’s a powerful force

It comes from within, my heart is the source

I savour this moment, so special and true

Forever inspiring, this poem is for you
