Self-conscious thinking is never going to get you anywhere but stuck and believe me, ‘stuck in the mud”, is not a good look at all.
When you’re thinking and doing becomes boundless, you achieve more and more each and everyday.
When you go from being fearful to saying, “I’m not scared”, you open a whole new world for yourself.
Don’t be a prisoner to your thinking, because none of it is real anyway.

I was a Professional Executive Coach for many years and really did do very well in it. I met the most AMAZING leaders, whom I learned so much from. I found similar qualities in the leaders who made the BEST progress and I share below some of these:-

I am here because you shine
I closed my eyes and walked into the light.
There I met an older and much wiser woman.
She smiled at me.
She held a beautiful azure blue flower in her hand.
She took my hand and placed the flower in it.
Without any words, she gave me this message…..
Your magical heart can make the invisible visible.
I am here because you shine.
The blue of this flower represents the ocean and the sky.
The petals represent the fragility of life.
The wonder is not in the flower.
The miracle is in you.
The old lady then disappeared.
The flower turned into tiny little seeds in the palm of my hand.
I then knew, it was time to self-nurture and grow.

I Live and Breathe These Values Everyday

Purpose and Passion
I have been working on the core values for the Clarabelle blog.  Values are really important to me and I believe they hold the foundations together and are the glue for any business, organisation or company to grow on.  In my other business, Murray People Executive Coaching I work with Company Directors and Senior Executives in helping them define their own core values and the values for their business, it can be quite an enlightening experience for them.

What is most important though is not necessarily the words, it is the meaning behind each of these words which add purpose and passion to each value. Â I will be doing another blog post in the near future explaining what each of these values mean.

New Perspective
It’s nice to meet new people from different backgrounds and different walks of life, for me, it always makes fascinating conversation. Â Meeting a new person is like inviting a whole new perspective on the world into your life. Â I love meeting new people, I can feel their energy, see their dreams through their eyes and visualise in my imagination the stories of their lives, places they’ve been too, hearts they’ve touched and inspired. Â Just through one conversation over a cup of coffee can lighten up your own world, it’s like having new eyes in that very moment. Â Hopefully I will get to meet some of you in the future, I don’t know when and I don’t know where but I feel that would be wonderful to happen.
Today, I encourage you to meet a new person or talk to someone you’ve never spoken to before. Embrace the magic of this new conversation, no matter what it is about and interpret it has a “love story”, wow, how wonderful that conversation will leave you.
Every person in this world has their own “love story” to tell, listen deeply with your heart and you will be surely connecting with them on a different level.

Magic of Gratitude

Â It will contain a variety of original poems (not already shared on this blog), affirmations, quotes, powerful questions and practical exercises for you to work through on the magic of gratitude. Â I am excited to have this eBook completed and this will be my fifth eBook to date….I am also currently collaborating with an Associate of mine on another eBook related to the subject of creative visualisation.
Core Values
Gratitude is one of my core values, I practice it everyday in my life and I know I benefit so greatly from it. Â I want this eBook to encourage others to invite daily gratitude into their lives as I know it can be life changing for individuals.

Happy Birthday Blog 🙂
Today, I celebrate the birthday of this blog, it is one year old today. Â I love putting my heart, soul, passion and energy into this blog and I feel it is evolving as I am evolving.
Inner Growth
I didn’t plan to do this blog, it wasn’t one of my goals but I do remember the day, one year ago, when I decided to set it up here on wordpress. Â Prior to that, I had been writing lots and lots of poetry and I was gaining so much inner growth and special connection from my creative self expressions. Â Something just clicked with me that day, on 20 April 2012, there was a heightened moment of realisation, a momentary illumination of the heart, that I should share my poetry and other creative expressions on a blog. Â I just felt there was this strong inner calling to do that – so I did, I acted on it straight away, with no hesitation, it was a very enlightened experience indeed.
The Story of My Life
It was the right thing to do, this blog is part of me now, it’s the story of my life, the sharing of my secrets, it demonstrates the strength in my vulnerability and the love in my heart. Â It has been soul baring, deeply moving and heartwarming at times, I have shared poetic reflections that I used to only whisper to my shadow. Â This blog is about who I am and what I am becoming but I know I would not get the same fulfillment, deepest gratitude and satisfaction from it, if it wasn’t connecting with other souls – it has to inspire hearts – it has to help YOU to evolve and advance too. Â
I want for you what I want for myself and that is to truly live life, to truly love life, to be who you are, to answer your inner calling, to shape the right way forward for yourself in alignment with your values, to have peace and knowing in your heart that you are all that you ever need to be, to have faith and trust in your ability to use your creative imagination to advance you forward in life and attract a never ending abundance of all that you have ever wanted. Â You are on the path to personal evolution, you never came off it, it’s time now to enjoy the scenery and truly live in this moment now……..as I write this, I hear the birds singing outside – in the beauty and gratitude of each precious moment the miracle of life right now will always give us what we need.
Go create with pure passion in your heart, for the tide of opportunity wants you to surf its waves and refresh the soul of the deepest oceans.

I Discovered My Purse Had Been Stolen
I want to share something with you today, as I reflect upon the events of my weekend. Everything was going swimmingly well until I discovered my purse had been stolen. Â I was meeting a friend for coffee in a Hotel in Glasgow, paid for my coffee and by the time I was leaving the hotel, the purse was gone. Â I wasn’t really bothered about the money in the purse, it was only loose change anyway, however I was more sad about losing the sentimental things that were in it, such as little prayers, a poem from my sister which I had for 13 years, photographs of my niece and nephew, photograph of my dad which I have held close to me since 1997, a little medal that my best friend gave to me in 2007 to keep me safe when I was running my first marathon in New York City and lots of beautiful things like that. Â Also the purse which was a special gift given to me by another very close friend. I must admit I was feeling very sad and I allowed it to affect the rest of my day. Â I also felt a little downhearted that the purse didn’t show up, I really thought that if found in the hotel, someone would have handed it in…..no such luck, I’m afraid. Â I must admit my faith in humanity did sink a little, I guess because that is where my focus was at that time. Â
A Different Frame of Mind
However, today, I am of a very different frame of mind, after reporting the purse missing to the Police and to the Hotel, I was told of many stories were items of real financial value had been handed in, such as rolls of money containing thousands of pounds, iPads, mobile phones, bags, suitcases, bags of money etc….I smiled, my faith was restored because I had replaced my one bad experience with many wonderful stories where people have been honest and returned the items they found. Â
The Real Truth
I will never again doubt the honesty and integrity of humanity, because I know there is much more goodness in the world than not….we just don’t always hear about it and therefore don’t include it in our frame of reference. Â When we look at the world only through our own lens, we are in danger of excluding the real truth….that is, what could be and what is possible for each and every one of us. Â I take full responsibility for what happened to me on Saturday afternoon and it has taught me many lessons which I am very grateful for. Â
A Very Special Thank You
I would like to also offer a very special thank you to the staff members at the multi-story car park in Concert Square, Glasgow City Centre, they were so supportive when I told them I didn’t have my parking ticket (which was in my purse) and had no money to pay for the parking, they were very understanding and let me leave the car park for free. Â
Angels
I think Angels come disguised in many situations and it is not until after the event that we realised they touched our heart and soul.  May you open your eyes to the goodness that is in the world today, look out for the success stories of kindness, love and encouragement and let them uplift your spirits today.  Much love to you today, as always, Clarabelle     Â
I had the most amazing childhood, it was full of fun, adventure and magical spirit. Â I was surrounded by an abundance of friends, love and laughter….I hold these special memories very close to my heart, they are locked in my soul forever…..we will never be apart!! Â This next poem is inspired by my childhood dreams and those treasured times of the past that have shaped who I am today. Â If I ever feel I have travelled afar from who I really am, I think of those rainbow days and those long summer sunsets, where I danced in the wind, laughed in the rain and played with love in my heart, every moment of every day. Â I wish you a day filled with a childlike free spirit that makes you feel so very happy inside. Â I am smiling now, I do hope you are. Â Love, Clarabelle
Rainbow Days
Sweet sweet child in me, playful and full of fun;
Dancing in the rain, laughing under the sun.
Happy was my heart, true friends were all around;
My soul skipped to the music, love in me profound.
Fresh air on my face, the clouds so magical too;
Hopping in an out of puddles, this is what I do.
I wake up with a song, playing in my heart;
Singing to this tune, I repeat this special part.
Smiles, hugs and warmth, fill my rainbow days;
Light shines from within me, reflecting spectrum rays.

I’m about to make some life changing decisions in the very near future, decisions that I feel will positively shape my life forever, new endings will meet with new beginnings and a new chapter of my life will become alive. Â So how do I know if I am making the right decision? Â I can honestly say that I am a values-driven person and I will use by values as my inner guidance to ultimately support the right choice for me. Â After all, how else can I ensure I be deeply authentic to myself if I don’t honour my values. Â It’s all about nourishing your heart and that’s what inspired this next poem for you.
Values are your inner guidance, that’s what I believe
Honouring your values, will help you to achieve
They live inside of you, keep your soul on track
Holding you together, never looking back
They hold the golden key, to a life that’s true for you
Filling up your senses, in what you choose to do
Decisions in each moment, to always meet your needs
Nourishing your heart, planting little seeds
