I was heading out for my usual outdoor run one day and my friend said to me, “It doesn’t bother you running outside?” I was like, “Why?”. She then explained to me, that she wouldn’t run outside because she would think everyone was looking at her. I shared with her, that gladly that thought didn’t ever come into my mind and even if it did, I would probably think, “Good, maybe I’ll inspire someone to run too!“
Do you see the EMPOWERMENT or DISEMPOWERMENT your mind can have over you?
I want you to THINK about your THINKING and if it serves you well or not.
Think POWERFUL thoughts that will build you up, not break you down.
Aim to be more SELF-CONFIDENT and less SELF-CONSCIOUS, it will help you to forge forward in life.
And lastly, if you want to run outside but are maybe thinking, “What if everyone is looking at me?” Change that thinking to, “WHAT IF I INSPIRE SOMEONE TO RUN TOO?”
The selfie photo below, is of me recently, just back from my evening run in Hyde Park, London.
Clarabelle loves to run!
I hope I have inspired you to run too!
Have a GREAT one, wonderful you.

Your brain, with all its wonderful facets and zillions of neurological connections, really needs to be taken care of.
When my brain hurts and what I really mean is, when it’s tired, exhausted and/or drained – I just know it needs a rest from all the crazy noise and distractions out there.
Your brain is on the go all of the time, doing things like – keeping you safe, helping you learn and supporting your creative imagination.
It’s constantly picking up inner and outer signals to help you function most effectively on a moment to moment basis – no wonder it hurts sometimes.
So next time your amazing brain has moved into overload drive, give it some downtime and fresh space to clear out the clutter and make way for true clarity of thought.
Your brain is a wondrous miracle that enables you to bring out the best of you and helps you to demonstrate your inner magic.
So don’t go popping a paracetemol and hope that all the unwanted head pressure will all go away. Take your brain into an information free zone and let it mingle with absolutely nothing.
Disconnect your brain and give it time to reboot – you’ll most definitely feel like a different person.

MY SWEET SWEET MEMORIES FROM THE LATE 70S & EARLY 80S
You could leave your house door open during the night;
You could go for an early sole run in the park with no fear;
You would chat outside to your next door neighbour for hours;
No one carried a mobile phone and everyone coped fine;
Children played in large groups outside after school;
Local playgrounds were filled with children, without the need for parents being there;
Children used their imagination and played ‘made up’ games with their friends;
You only had one true best friend but it was called a ‘best pal’;
We didn’t have a landline at home and no one really cared;
All family dinners were home made;
A holiday was going on family day trips to the closest seaside location;
There was only three TV channels and we felt spoiled for choice;
If you could afford a taxi, you were rich;
If you missed the bus, you had to wait another hour on the next one;
Those tiny bronze half pence pieces existed and you felt you had loads of money;
Children would jump for joy with a 10 pence mix up;
Children played water fights during the summer holidays with empty washing up liquid bottles;
Everyone in the community knew each other and looked out for each other;
Hardly anyone had a car;
Getting a 50 pence toy from the local shop, felt like Christmas;
The milkman delivered your glass bottles of milk on your front door step every morning;
As children, we played, football rounders, hide and seek, skipping ropes, kick the can, hopscotch, obstacle courses, sprint races, tennis, swingball, talent shows…and all outdoors!
My Dad, Grans, Granda, Aunties, Uncle, Godmother and some good School Pals were all living back then – now sadly missed . . . . . . oh how I remember when!

Be a loyal and trustworthy person and you will have the best friends for life.
Be open and honest with your feelings, it will help people to see the true side of you.
Be helpful and caring towards others and seek first to understand before being understood.
Be a positive and upbeat kind of person – no one wants to be around a drainer – sorry, they just don’t!
Be kind and friendly as much as you can because these qualities are always remembered in you by others.
Really focus on developing yourself as much as possible and read books on other people who have already succeeded in life.
Never judge another – you have not walked in that person’s shoes and you don’t know the difficult experiences other people have had to deal with. No one lives a perfect life, believe that!
Take time to plan what you want out of life in the next 2, 5 and 10 years from now and then go to work EVERYDAY on your plan.
Look after your health and wellbeing and that includes your mental, physical and spiritual.
Keep your finances in check and do your best to never lose money but instead work out how to grow your money and how to make it work for you.

Rightly or wrongly, I’ve always battled with living the ordinary kinda life – I just didn’t and still don’t see that for myself.
So, 49 years young, how’s it all looking now?
Well, honestly, probably 75% of it still feels like “ordinary” to me but I now have an absolute CLEAR VISION and SUPER STRONG FOCUS on how to change that to EXTRAORDINARY!
“Bit by bit”, has always been a key phrase for me and it really does work, if you stay consistent and committed to your goal in action.
So what will make the difference now, as opposed to 5, 10 or 20 years ago?
Well, this time, I am building on absolute SOLID ground and my core values are so deep rooted into the purpose behind my vision that even a magnitude 10 earthquake could not shake me off this meaningful path.
You see, I never had that before. I always had the belief and the self-confidence but spinning too many plates, led to too many distractions and therefore building on shaky ground – that was never going to last longterm.
I also just ‘feel it in my bones’ this time around. Everything seems to be pointing in the right direction and I feel like I am dancing towards the finish line, rather than running scared!
It can be exhausting changing your life for the better. So much energy is consumed at the start and it feels like nothing much is happening. It’s usually when you feel like giving up that a little glimmer of hope begins to sparkle from the distance.
Please don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a blast, living most of my ordinary life and it can feel quite perfect at certain times. We all have different definitions of ordinary – it’s really just down to personal preference and can be simple or somewhat complex.
Ultimately, if you’re happy, well in my eyes, you’ve already hit the jackpot and I genuinely salute you.
Does that then mean I’m not happy, chasing the extraordinary? For me, I am happy and I am MOST HAPPIEST pursuing my aspirational future whilst helping others along the way.
I guess, we’re all in this together, so let’s enjoy the process and give back as much as we can.

Yes, you did read that right….. and what a really stupid thing for me to do!
2008
The year was 2008 and I was training for my first marathon. I was about 8 months into my training (out of 11 months in total) and was on a significant 16 mile run. Up until then, everything was going perfectly in my training and this particular Sunday morning run, started off really well.
I got to about 12 miles in, and soon, a little knee niggle became a huge big, pain in the butt – so much so, that I had to stop running at the 13 mile mark.
To say I was furious, was an understatement – I was so ANGRY and FRUSTRATED, that I started to agressively kick the brick wall next to me. I kicked that wall so hard that I nearly did myself some serious damage, but thankfully, I realised how stupid I was being and eventually stopped.
This ‘kicking the brick wall’ incident was very ‘out of character’ for me, and as I reflect on it today, I feel very bewildered by that ‘manic behaviour’ – it really made no sense at all!
LIFE
The ups and downs of Life WILL put our true emotions to the test and it’s our job to have internal control over how we respond to these emotions. Anger, frustration, aggression and crazy behaviour, NEVER EVER works…. period!
I recently watched a video interview of a former Royal Marine, who shared one piece of learning that was so POWERFUL. In this interview, he said, “if you’re angry, you’re wrong” – WOW . . . . . just think about that for a minute.
RERUN
So let’s take the aforementioned running incident and deal with it all over again, today, as it was back then. What would I do? Well, as soon as I felt the little niggle at the 12th mile – I’d stop, flag a taxi, rest the overworked knee and celebrate my progress to date, with my favourite bar of chocolate!
*IMPORTANT NOTE – no bricks walls were harmed in this 2008 incident, only a bruised EGO that needed to learn a hard lesson!

If you’re feeling a little bit stuck right now, you’ve got to get that body and mind moving.
You see, a stuck mind can equal a stagnant body and that wonderful human being of you, needs to feel and do more.
Awaken your inside energy and ignite the neurons in your mind to start connecting and creating again.
Just do something, anything that is going to stir up some magical movement in your soul and help you feel alive again.
Lazy living truly is a bad habit and believe me, no one wants to be around the draining energy of a lazy person.
Get up off your chair, throw some cold water on your face, go outside and let that fresh air hit you all over. Even jump up and down a few times or jog on the spot – just get that stuck energy flowing again.
I believe, the less you do…THE LESS YOU’LL DO!
So that also means, the more you do…THE MORE YOU’LL DO!
Seems simple but often so hard for some people.
There is nothing good about ‘stuck energy’ and EVERYTHING good about ‘awakened energy’ – I think it’s time to shake it up!

A friend once said to me, “I don’t do fear”. I was like, “WOW”, what a way to think! She would share stories with me of times in her life when she faced so much adversity that fear was never an option for her – she had to survive! This woman is one super BRAVE lady!
Today though, as I reflect back on that enlightening conversation, I think of all the times in my younger life when being “fearful” was actually a positive for me.
I was sometimes fearful of my teachers at school, so much so, I would do extra studying after school, just so I could get the teacher’s question right in class. Overall, I think that did me a litte bit of good – especially in Accounts, which I hated but passed with flying colours!
I was lots of times fearful of doing talks and presentations in front of a little or a lot of people. This fear was also good, because it made me practice and practice and PRACTICE in order to improve and become better at it. In a weird sort of way, I still find it easier to talk to a live audience of thousands of people, rather than an intimate bunch of 20. Give me a huge big stage and I’m comfortably on it! I also have a very loud voice and super high energy – so I guess it all fits!
I’m certainly not advocating all fear, I just think, sometimes it can work to your advantage in certain ‘self-development’ circumstances.
Where, I think fear did not work for me, was when I pulled myself out of the running races at School because I knew I wasn’t fast enough to beat some other runners. In my head at the time, I thought, I’m not entering this competition because I won’t win the gold medal and I don’t want silver or bronze – how super childish is that thinking!
That type of silly thinking also straddled into my young work life when I didn’t go for early promotions because I thought other colleagues would get the job over me and I didn’t want to deal with the hurt, embarrassment and rejection. So this type of fear that I am describing, is really NOT good. Thankfully, those types of fear I just don’t have anymore and nothing like that ever holds me back from “giving it a go”.
Today, I am a “face fear head on” type of person – if I’m fearful – then I must do it – that’s it!
Imagine yourself today, STRONG, FEARLESS and POWERFUL – now what you going to do about it?

Are you craving for some peaceful tranquility in your life right now?
If you’re running around in a frenzy trying to get everything done yesterday, then maybe you do need to slow down a bit.
There is nothing more important than your health and wellbeing, so please, give yourself some well needed, ‘breathing space’.
Your family, friends and work will benefit more in the long run, if you jump off that hamster wheel and take some ‘time out’.
Your head and your heart needs a break from all the noise and unnecessary distractions that pull you in so many different directions. How on earth can you move forward with all that stuff pulling you back.
Make time for yourself to BE YOURSELF – not the angry parent, stressed out boss, frustrated friend or worried workmate.
Just time for you, to focus on YOU!
I bet, even that very thought, seems like bliss.
Remember you are deeply loved, respected and admired by the people in your life – so make sure you bring your best energy when you’re with them and that means a well rested you in advance.
Remember your experience and you’ll remember your worth!
Many years ago, a genius mind once said to my doubtful mind, “Claire, remember your experience” and that was EVERYTHING I needed to hear at that moment in time.
For some reason, I had forgotten about it for a little while and it turned me into a short-term worrying wreck. However, as soon as I was triggered to think about what I brought to the table, I turned into that brave, courageous, self-confident human being I love.
Never EVER doubt the extraordinary qualities you offer and be proud of your life successes to date.
Welcome!
Every Thursday is Poetry Corner. May the words whisper deep wisdom to you.
COME WITH ME
Come with me,
to the river bank,
this waterfall of life,
gives you lots to thank.
It’s beauty is deep,
just like your eyes,
it’s running on love,
Mother Earth’s surprise.
Let me hold your hand,
as tight as can be,
I’ll show you everything,
your heart needs to see.
I’ll take you places,
your soul’s never walked,
I’ll share tender thoughts,
happiness, only talked.
For I am your reflection,
of your inside out,
encouraging your confidence,
banishing all doubt.
Stay with me forever,
our horizon glows strong,
dancing footsteps of passion,
to where we both belong.

Are you feeling a little unfulfilled in your work life? That can be very normal and can also be changed, albeit, where applicable.
Focus on what you can control in your workplace and also on what you can control, outside of work. This is one great way of accepting responsibility for taking positive action and not wasting your time and energy on things you just cannot control.
Think about purposeful and meaningful ways you can contribute to your work environment and/or job tasks. This will definitely make you feel a lot better and your work will most definitely benefit too.
In situations, where your work has closed the door on being a more fulfilling workplace for you – then think about what you can contribute to outside of work that offers you a more enriching life experience.
Please don’t go blaming your boss for work tasks that you initially signed up for and that now don’t ‘rock your boat’. Take responsibility for your own choices and decisions in life – this is a must!
Work your best with what you’ve got and gradually make small but impactful changes to enhance your life.
There are many options for you to explore here and it’s important you take the time to think about all the pros and cons of going one way or the other.
Bit by bit, if you really put the effort in, you will change things for the better. Dedicate time today to plan your future needs and wants – then jump to it!
It’s Your Life – GO GET IT!

I know you need help – we all do at certain times in our lives. Below are five simple steps to help you move forward in life:-
What you firstly want to do, is specifically work out, what kind of help you need. You might ask the question – “What end result do I want”?
Next, we have to get real here – you need to be brutally honest about what’s happening for you now. A good question would be, “What’s my current reality?”
We now need to move your thinking from the current challenge to thinking about, what it will feel like to you, once you have achieved your goal or overcome your current challenge – really get yourself excited about this! To raise your thinking, ask yourself, “What will it feel like, look like or be like for me, once I have achieved this goal?”
Then you need to think about, what resources are out there, in order for you to tap into, to get the right help. Ask yourself, “What options are available to me?”
Next, you need to take some self-action. A good question here, might be – “Given all the options available to me, what’s the best way forward?” and “What plan will I put in place in order to make this happen? or better still “What’s my first step?”
Now, it really is, over to you, to get to work and progress on. If you put in 100% effort and remain committed to the change – you’ll definitely get there.
Keep measuring, reviewing and fine-tuning along the way – it will definitely keep you on track.
It’s Your Life – GO GET IT!

I was a Professional Executive Coach for many years and really did do very well in it. I met the most AMAZING leaders, whom I learned so much from. I found similar qualities in the leaders who made the BEST progress and I share below some of these:-
An incredibly ambitious growth mindset;
Deep listeners with a real eagerness to become more self-aware;
A true drive and enthusiasm for positive self-change;
Powerful and fast acting on the implementation of new ideas and learning;
A desire to become a better leader and to empower others to see their own leadership capabilities;
An unbelieveable ability to turn things around where needed;
Internally honest and seekers of truth to help them get out of their own way;
An energetic passion for meaningful results within themselves and others;
A first class ability to know what needs done and the onboard accountability for doing it;
Aspirational in their thinking and inspirational in their doing;
BIG THINKERS with a purposeful VISION;
And, let me tell you, this impressive list of leadership qualities goes on and on!
I am proud to say, I worked with the GREATEST in their field and I will never forget how ELATED and ENERGISED we both would feel after a truly progressive coaching session.
If you are in a leadership position and are currently struggling with your current set up or difficult strategic decisions – seek out a recommended professional executive coach or business mentor, who will ignite your inner drive, deeply question your current position and open up your own strategic thinking to achieve the necessary results.
There are an abundance of leadership coaching tools out there, that a highly skilled coach or mentor can share with you, in order to help you progress FAST!
Leaders have a lot of heavy plates spinning, whilst under a tremendous amount of work and personal stress – maybe it’s time to seek out the expertise you need.
Don’t stay stuck and never stay stagnant!
Be THEE Leader!

When I lived and worked in Dubai a few years ago, I used to go for 5am runs towards the stunning Dubai sunrise.
The morning sunrise in Dubai was as picture perfect as you could get it and it really did make a positive difference to the rest of my day.
A Good Solution
The lovely air conditioned gym in my apartment block, didn’t open until 6.30am and that was too late for me – so an early morning run, before the heat became unbearable, was a good solution for me.
Wonderful Opportunity
I also had the wonderful opportunity, whilst staying in Palm Jumeirah, to go for morning swims before work. I remember during those blissful swims, feeling so wholeheartedly grateful for manifesting those dreamlike moments into my life.
Lots of things didn’t work out for me in Dubai or I would have stayed there for so much longer but I NEVER EVER think of that. I put my focus on what did work out and the truly wonderful people I crossed paths with and learned so much from.
Embrace Every Opportunity
Don’t expect things to be perfect in life, when you try something new or go to a new environment to live or work in but DO EXPECT to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, for that indeed makes up the true essence of you.
Never think, “What if it doesn’t work out?” ALWAYS think, “WHAT IF IT DOES WORK OUT?”
A doubtful mind is a horrible burden to carry. An empowering mind, on the other hand, will carry you there. NOTE THE DIFFERENCE!
Your dreams are for the taking and now is your time!
By Clarabelle, London, UK Created on 5 August 2022 Posted to blog on 21 August 2022
Even if you never ever become the BEST in your field, the fact that you actually strive to be the greatest, is what will make the difference between being ordinary or being AWESOME.
I always aim to be better today than yesterday – it might not always work out, but at least I go for it!
If I believe I AM THE GREATEST in my field, I won’t let limited thinking stand in my way of progression.
Even if, in the eyes of many, I am not the greatest, I don’t allow their thinking to have a negative affect on mine. Well, wouldn’t that be a bit BIG HEADED then? Absolutely NOT, if it is for a meaningful purpose and aligns with your core values.
Never apologise for aiming to be the BEST in your field. Never ‘dumb down’ your talents and abilities to fit into a smaller box. In my opinion, battle your way out of any boxed thinking and set yourself FREE to achieve greatness.
If you’re not aligned with the above – that’s okay – you just need to kick your way out of that box!
I see you doing AMAZING things, when you let your greatness shine through.

I have realised that when I know about an amazing event, activity or gift coming my way, the level of excited anticipation can reach a good 8 out of 10. However, when I am unexpectedly surprised by the kindness of others – even something like someone giving me a surprise cup of coffee – that excitment is, quite simply, off the scale! The elation that I feel when this happens it truly unbelieveable!
I promise you, it’s not really about the actual material thing that has amazingly come into my existence. It’s actually about the kind heart and thoughtfulness of the other person that puts me in this state of elation. The fact that that person took the time out of their day to think about me and show their beautiful heart through kindness.
I believe, the greatest surprise we can all offer someone, is the gift of the human spirit.
Which means, YOU, my dearest YOU, are the most precious gift of them all.

You make a difference by firstly focussing on changing yourself for the better and then that has a real positive effect on others around you.
I never read a personal development book until I was in my 30s and then I was super hooked on how the teachings in those books had a positive influence on my thinking and then ultimately my doing.
You’ve probably heard the term “Leaders are Readers” and I think, there is a lot of truth in that popular saying.
Do you see yourself as a Leader or someone who likes to sit back and be led?
Personally, I think there is a leader in each and everyone of us and if you feel you’re not leading right now, it’s up to you to make the self-adjustment.
A leader doesn’t benefit from being loud, over confident or bullish in their ways and if you are currently experiencing that – then you’re definitely being wrongly led!
Sometimes, and more often than not, the BEST leaders are calm, focussed, quitely confident, deep listeners, super observant and highly self-aware. Great leaders are fully engaged in each and every person they influence. These type of leaders bring out positive energy in others, empowering untapped potential, leading to significant action. In my opinion, Leaders who truly shine, blend coaching and mentoring skills with experience and wisdom.
A true leader wants to bring out the best leadership qualities in others, then stands back, to see them soar.
Enhancing your attributes in self-leadership is one magnificent way to make a difference.
Please remember – Leadership isn’t only a ‘work’ thing – it’s a LIFE thing!

Do you think you know what it’s all about, this life of yours? What if you didn’t dream? What if you just lived your life on automatic pilot and never wished for anything better; never wanted to reach your potential; never wanted to be happier, or to receive more love in your life? What if, all you have right now, is exactly all it ever will be, period?
You’ve Arrived
That’s it, you’ve laid down your cards; you’ve taken life to as far as you could get it; and you’re here – you’ve arrived! – Does that thought suck or does that thought elate you?
A Dreamer and a Doer
Well, if you’re a dreamer like me – a dreamer and a doer like me, that thought probably doesn’t even come into your mind of existence. I believe, your greatest potential, hasn’t even scraped the surface, of what is possible for you. The dreamers mind is infinite and full of abundant creativity, waiting to be energised.
Glimmer of Hope
Everything starts with a dream, an idea, a glimmer of hope – nothing could exist otherwise. To achieve the greatest self, it takes the dreamer from one imaginary world into another – if they want to turn that dream into reality. You see, dreamers are inspired by the beauty and excitement of what could be. So what could be?
Calling all dreamers…..YOU could take that dream, idea, magic of creativity and let it burst with energy inside of you, so much so, that it expands into a magnitude of inspired action, that will catapult your dream into this current reality. The pure magic of this though, is it can only come from the ultimate power within you. Yes, that’s right, only you have the key to release your uniqueness into the now. So dream the dream but make this dream so highly compelling that it pulls you forth and turns into its own super creation.
There you have it – the power is within you. Grow that seed, give it your energy and watch with pure excitement, it manifesting before you.
Thank you for being here.
It’s your life, go get it!!

Thank YOU for following this blog and supporting the work that I do. My aim is to bring a little bit of sparkle, knowledge, wisdom and positive ‘feel good’ feelings into your life.
We all need some inspiration and encouragement at different times in our life and I do hope that my blog posts help you move forward and forge you into achieving EVERYTHING you truly deserve.
Your dreams are for the taking and I want YOU to really GO FOR IT!
After all . . . . . . . . . It’s Your Life – GO GET IT!
It’s very easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life, doing the same thing day in and day out. The treadmill of life can be a bit like that, if you let it. What if you did something different today? What if you surprised yourself with trying something new, maybe something that you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t quite got there yet?
Your Day
Let this be your day, your day to express yourself in a different way, your day to shine in a different way that adds sparkle to your own life and brightens up another’s life. What would that be for you? When you gain clarity of thought in this area, it will immediately perk you up, you will feel excited and joyous about this new activity in your life.
Follow Your Heart
“Follow your heart”, it really is one of those sayings that a lot of people love and a lot of people quite frankly dismiss. Personally, I have been on both sides of the camp, at different times in my life – sometimes following my heart and sometimes following my head! Lots of times, I didn’t follow through with the heart stuff because my head got in the way – is this good or bad? No regrets, thats what I say – I am here now, grateful in this moment and that is what matters most to me now.
Dig Deep
What do you enjoy most about your life right now? Even if you are finding that question hard to answer, dig deep if you have to – you’ll most definitely find something and soon realise, you are a lot richer than originally thought.
Be Present
Review the experiences you are currently having in your life right now – are these experiences of quality, of fulfilment, of purpose? Are you growing and contributing to life as much as you want to be? Questions, questions, so many questions but the right question will lead you to be present in the fullness of life.
I ask you today, to ponder the thoughts that this post raises for you. Reading between the lines, What speaks true for you? Here is one conclusion of many – heart with no effort, equals a head with more troubles – work that one out!!
Gain real clarity in why you do what you do – your head and your heart will thank you for it.
Thank you for being here.
It’s Your Life, Go Get It!!

Everyday, strive for impactful change that will have the most powerful ripple effect on your life and the life of others.
I write to YOU, yes YOU, who needs to hear these words and do something about the unhappy parts of your life.

This is a question you maybe ask yourself every now and again. Your answer may vary depending on your mood, what’s going on around you and what you’re currently involved in. However, I want you to believe, really believe that YES, you are good enough. In this moment now, you are good enough to take the next step, good enough to challenge your thinking and good enough to get back in control of your life. As a matter of fact, good is not complimentary enough because you are amazing, wonderfuland can create positive impactwherever you go – it’s all a matter of choice.
Limiting Beliefs
Never let your own limiting beliefs starve you from an unlimited amount of possibilities that are open for you. Master the right thinking, thoughts that will serve you well and thoughts that will challenge the norm and catapult you into a new, invigorating and forever thriving life.
Aim High
I encourage you to set your target, aim high and focus on building momentum – reviewing progress along the way. Don’t live a dull, boring and unfulfilled life because you are set in your ways or lack the energy to do anything about it. The less you do, the less motivated you will feel, so embrace the opportunity in the now and conquer the life that you want.
Winning Formula
We all dream of better things, a better life, more happiness and more fulfilment but dreaming and doing are completely two different things. One without the other proves to be meaningless, but combine the two together and you get a winning formula for the life you deserve.
Break the Chains
The days, weeks, months and years can go past really quickly in an unchallenged lack lustre life. Raise your standards and don’t allow yourself to settle for what currently is. Break the chains from your robotic life and feel alive again and if you don’t remember how feeling alive really feels, then this is surely your cue to take over.
Over and out…….keep at it!!
It’s your life, go get it!!

You’ve checked the pros and cons; you’ve overthought the decision; you’ve assessed the situation; and you’ve mapped out different outcomes…..but what it really all boils down to is – what is your gut really saying?
No matter how much you over analyse a situation and deliberate over an important decision, nothing will give you the absolute satisfaction of that “going with your gut” feeling.
Your intuition already knows what the answer is and you’re over analysing is creating an unnecessary battle. Surrender to your heart and go with your gut!!
This one’s for you, do it today.
It’s your life, go get it!!

Behind every strategy is another strategy – let me explain.
So let’s say you want to change something for the better in your life. Let’s say for example, you want to change your career and go in a completely different direction. Let’s say you want to move away from your Management Consultancy Business and progress with a new career in property development. So first of all, I would say, “Hey you, that’s truly amazing, I admire your spirit, drive and determination to change your future. Congratulations! You’ve taken your very first step. Well done!” Now the next part for you is likely to be exciting, crazy, liberating, fulfilling, challenging and possibly frightening – all at once!! You’ve gained the knowledge, you’ve got the outer strategy and you are damn well ready to execute – oh yes, you definitely know where you’re going with this one. However, I also want you to think about your inner strategy– what do I mean by that?
Your inner strategy is that vitally important checklist, the inner compass guiding and strengthening you on the unknown path ahead. This inner strategy is the imperative foundations that you will build your outer strategy upon – you’ve got to get the inner strategy right…...first and foremost. On your inner strategy checklist you will be clear on the following areas:
I clearly know my core values and what each value means to mean.
I specifically know what is personally important to me going forward in life – I know my non-negotiables.
I fully believe in my capabilities, unlimited potential and I have faith in myself, even when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel.
I am fully supportive of me, as much as I want solid support from the people closest to me, this is not necessary, as it is my responsibility to support myself with every choice, decision and commitment I make.
I have a contingency plan containing critical action points that serve my inner wellbeing, if and when difficult stresses arise – I know what’s in my combat toolbox to strengthen my mind, body and help me regain any lost focus.
I am confident, resilient and have an abundance of energy that is absolutely necessary to the success of my new vision.
I am not afraid to ask for help when I need it. I believe that asking for help is a necessary part of the process.
I am clear on my standards and expectations and I will not deviate from these in challenging times.
I will regularly take quiet time out, to reflect, review and refresh my thinking.
I am totally committed to the end goal, however I will remain present in the process and give everything my best shot.
I promise to value my self-worth and continue to grow and contribute to my purpose at every opportunity.
Your inner strategy is more important than the outer strategy. You’ve got to be clear on this stuff at the very beginning because if you are unclear on any of these statements, any slight failure along the way, may crumble your progress.
What I am saying is, go to work on yourself, know your inner strategy, have clarity and self awareness about you, for this will be the BEST start you can ever give yourself before any major life change. This is the sure start that will inevitably lead you to success.
Thank you for being here.
It’s Your Life, Go Get It!!

A very wise man, I once worked with, said to me, “Claire, time is gold…..time is gold…..TIME IS GOLD“. Sadly, this wonderful man is no longer here now but the wisdom that he shared, lives on in me and in others he had deep and meaningful conversations with.
If you have gold, LOTS of gold, your appreciation for time and fulfilling relationships is often enhanced. Maybe, this is because, the strive for gold, has now been achieved and you then realise, you’re still searching for that missing jigsaw piece – but maybe it was there all along.
What if, everything you feel you need right now, you already have?
What if, you viewed life with your heart, rather than your eyes?
What if, that thing you fear, is nothing but a fragment of your imagination?
What if, you dropped all internal doubt and went for what you want in life?
What if, time IS gold and material gold is in the way of your happiness?
Lots and lots of, “what if” questions, that either mean nothing to you or offer you a different perspective on life – it really is your choice what to think.
All I am saying here is, PLEASE, don’t waste your time on climbing a mountain, you don’t really want to climb. What I would say though, is choose wisely, which mountain you DO want to climb.
I’m going to make every Thursday on this blog “POETRY CORNER”. The reason being, I really LOVE writing poetry, especially with a positive spin on it or words that showcase a deep sense of inner wisdom.
So today I share with you Poetry Corner #1:
Being YOU
To feel alive, fresh and true, steal the show, by being YOU.
Never let, a negative voice, hold you back, or change your choice.
For you are special, one of a kind, uniquely passionate, with a genius mind.
So set your sail, to better lands, where your dreams, are in your hands.
Whenever I want to make a significant change in my life, I give myself a 100 day challenge to make it happen.
I will set the goal in hand, mark the start and end date and then everyday, I just bloody well GO FOR IT!
I have read so many times over and over again that it takes 21 days to break a habit but unfortunately that has never been true for me. I know this, because I have put it to the test many times before. I would be interested to know, has it ever worked for you?
In my opinion if you aim for a really juicy goal that you want to achieve and stay wholeheartedly committed to achieving it – the 100 day rule, gives you more than enough time. I have used this for daily running challenges, healthy eating changes and life-changing career decisions. 100 days, to me, is the PERFECT timeline for making a real positive impact on your life.
So let’s say I start today, 1 August 2022 and set myself a goal to write one blog post everyday for the next 100 days. That means, the 100th day lands on 8 November 2022 and I just know that by that day a HUGE positive impact will be made on my life – for me, it’s almost guaranteed.
You want a new job? Try the 100 day challenge.
You want a new relationship? Do the 100 day challenge.
You want to get fitter? Action the 100 day challenge.
You want to move home? Apply the 100 day challenge.
You want to start a new business? Implement the 100 day challenge.
It even works for training for a marathon – and I’ve run four!
And the goals list goes on……
The key here is, you must be committed to the goal in hand and you must NEVER miss out a day – if you do, give yourself the consequence of needing to start from day 1 again! (But then that wouldn’t be 100 days anymore).
Whatever date you are reading this, pick a feasible goal that you really want to achieve. Mark down the start of your 100 day challenge and highlight your end date – now it’s time, to GET TO WORK!
Are you up for the 100 Day Challenge?
Don’t overthink it – START NOW!
Oh and please let me know how you get on – I want to hear your SUCCESS story, so that it can INSPIRE and MOTIVATE others.
There is absolute genius in you and you’ve got to believe that.
No other person in this world has had the exact same experiences as you or thinks exactly like you.
You can always bring ‘another level’ to whatever you are involved in.
Don’t be scared to demonstrate the best of you. Be proud of you and your true potential, enabling you to get to where you want to go.
Never shy away from what you truly deserve to have in your life. Only you can hold you back – now read that line again!
Be a sponge for learning new things, no matter what age you are and ensure you focus your energy on what really matters to you.
Mix all of the above with undeniable self-belief and you’re on your way to not only changing yourself for the better but to having a positive impact on the world too.
You may not think about it in this way, but you really can inspire others with what you say and what you do – that’s how powerful you truly are.
Go out today and show everyone what you’ve got. Your future success relies on today’s impactful thinking, so make sure your brave heart, leads you through every unknown battle and into the life you truly deserve.
Personally, I prefer to drive my own way through life – sometimes the journey is smooth and other times it’s a very bumpy ride.
Life, with all its twists and turns, can somedays be higher than high, then the next day, lower than low – I guess, that’s just the way life is and we must, stay strong and roll with the punches.
Set backs in life are inevitable but it’s important that you remain determined and resilient as ever, as these powerful qualities bring real passion to the common phrase “keep going”.
Always visualise yourself WINNING, no matter what’s going on around you. I encourage you to DRIVE from within and get to your desired destination, with that amazing feeling of real self-achievement.
Remember, your deep experience in life, love and in work. You are crowned everyday with unique capabilities that are open to true growth and self-expansion
I challenge wonderful YOU, to forge your way forward into achieving your goals and aspirations.
Ponder on this thought for today…..DRIVE or be DRIVEN?
No matter how dark and cold it gets, remember there is always warm sunlight in your heart. For your heart is honest, whole and pure and is not driven by ego or external factors.
As we grow older, the mind takes on a new life. Sometimes and often a lot of the time, it is a reflection of our current environment. However, the heart is not led by the ‘outer world’ the heart manifests beauty from your ‘inner world’. The heart doesn’t need to think about right or wrong, the heart just knows.
Your brain, in all its neurological glory, is there to help the heart survive and to protect it from potential dangers. The brain, however, may sometimes overthink and get in the way of the heart and its natural pathway.
So how can we get the best out of the heart and the mind, so that they blend together so beautifully?
I believe, that if you do work from the heart, then the mind aligns – almost as if the heart and mind is one. The mind becomes at peace and the heart exudes only love. The mind then starts to exude its greatest genius and this ultimately forms magnifence in material matters.
If you are stressed right now, I bet it has grown from ‘out of sync, mind work and most definitely not from pure heart work.
I want you to think about how you get your mind and heart to work more coherently. It is in the unificiation of both these parts, that will create the perfect inner and outer life for you.
If you ever, EVER hear yourself blaming others for something that is NOT going right in your life, I want you to STOP that useless thinking RIGHT NOW!
You are where you are, because of YOU. Hold yourself accountable for your own decisions, choices and wants that took you to where you are standing today.
If you are NOT happy with where you’re at, don’t go blaming anyone else for that. Take control of the situation NOW and do what you need to do to CHANGE that.
The past is the PAST, the present goes so fast, it is basically the past – so focus on your future wants and needs and bring your “A” game to the table in order to achieve your desires.
Don’t ever play the “blame” game – I promise you, it’s pulling you backwards and that’s not a progressive direction to be heading in.
Forge forward with all your might and self-power and let go of that draining blaming stuff today.
Go on then – oh and don’t blame me if you don’t do it!
I see you flying high…..always and I want you to see it too!
Do you know what it takes from you to reach your highest potential?
Do you know what you exactly want from life?
Do you know where you want to see yourself in 2-5 years from now?
Do you know what your core values are and if you are aligned with them right now?
Do you know the special qualities that you bring to the table and how to make sure you are utilising them as best you can?
Do you know how to unleash the greatest parts of you, so that you can contribute effectively to your dreams, goals and aspirations?
Now, turn each “do you know” question into “what will it take”; “what do I want” “what are my”……
It’s important that you DO KNOW the answer to these questions and it is more important that if you want to achieve these desires for yourself, that you take committed action on a daily basis to make them happen.
Hold yourself accountable and drive yourself forward into your dreams.
I can honestly say, I haven’t had the Monday Morning Blues for a good few years now and I never want to have them in the future either.
I remember, in my much younger days, getting these feelings, which often started on the Sunday evening!
I know, most of you can relate to those feelings of ‘dread’ going into a job that, for your own reasons, didn’t feel right.
I made a promise to myself a few years back that if I ever got so low again going into a job, I would sort that stuff out super fast.
Thankfully, I know what I want from a job and how I can utilise my skills and experience to contribute effectively. I also know how I want to be led and empowered to bring my best game to the table on a daily basis.
You have the true capacity and pure potential to achieve everything you want from your work and you are in control of whether you make it or break it.
I believe you deserve to experience the best of opportunities out there, so make sure you bring your ‘A’ game every single time.
There is this great quote by Rumi, “what you seek, is seeking you”, and for me, this quote is a wonderful reminder to never doubt your capabilities and be mindful of the many doors that are open for you – just walk right in.
I love outdoor running, I find it energising and therapeutic at the same time. I have noticed that when I take a break from running for a few months or so, I don’t feel as good.
This morning, I did an early morning run to the Italian Fountains in Hyde Park, London – it was beautiful and so refreshing.
Running is something I have enjoyed since a child and I guess my love for it has stayed the same.
I think it’s important in life to do something that you love and is very good for you. Think about what activities give you the greatest enjoyment and uplift your energy.
I encourage you to support your body and mind in your daily habits – it has such a positive knock-on effect in everything in your life.
So whether you’re, running for the hills today or rolling down the hills – stay in that ‘feel good” mode.
