I was speaking on the telephone to my friend Amy the other day (15.09.12), we always have some really great and fascinating conversations about the meaning of life. Often our conversations last for hours, honestly they do, we have so much to share with each other and having Amy as a new friend in my life is a true blessing. In this stimulating conversation Amy said the phrase, “the paradox of life”, I loved that phrase and I told her I was going to write a poem about it……and so here it is. Thank you Amy for all that I learn from you. Love Clarabelle.
The Paradox of Life
The paradox of life, under the sun,
Awakens my spirit, like an ocean of fun.
Where the mind is set free, and all is calm,
I breathe in life’s freshness, and touch palm to palm.
***
I’m connected to my soul, life energy surrounds me,
I’m at oneness in this moment, yet feel part of ‘we’.
My body vibrates, to the frequency of my thought,
Manifesting dreams, answering my ‘what?’.
***
The voice has no sound, yet I hear it loud and clear,
It’s a feeling from within, as I continue to stand here.
Where is tomorrow?, What will it bring?
I smile to myself, as I hear my heart sing.
