Awakening the world
My favourite time of day to write poems is very early in the morning or very late at night – when everything is much quieter around me.
I often dream of sitting in my ideal beach house writing poems on the ocean view balcony, whilst watching the sunrise or sunset – I plan to be doing this sometime in the future.
I therefore dedicate today’s poem to the dreams of tomorrow that I visualise today and what a wonderful feeling it truly is.
SWEET SUNRISE SUBLIME
The sun it rises,
glistening so bright,
it patiently waited,
goodbye to goodnight.
It’s warmth is tender,
a magical glow,
out to the horizon,
blue ocean below.
I stare at it softly,
with hypnotic eyes,
how blessed I am,
an amazing sunrise.
It gives me energy,
feelings of delight,
awakening the world,
happy and bright.
Thank you dear sunrise,
you make me feel good,
a whole day with you,
uplifts every mood.
No matter the weather,
you always shine
blue skies or rainbows,

I hope you’re having a truly wonderful day – I really do.
I was reflecting today (28 October 2022) on how much I love writing poetry, so much so, that I decided to change this whole Clarabelle blog into one GIGANTIC POETIC VISION.
So you will see that some things have changed around here and my main aim will be to continue to write poetry daily and share it with you. Going back to my roots and keeping it simple.
I will still add in some empowerment food for thought along the way but my strong focus now, going forward is, quite simply, to write poems and share them with you.
So there you have it. Poetry all the way.
The Clarabelle Podcast will now become the Clarabelle Poetry Podcast and I will share my spoken word poetry with you.
The motivational and encouraging posts will now be entwined in some sort of poetic format.
The videos I create, will all be poetic.
The Clarabelle products on sale currently all contain poetic verses and I will continue with this.
Basically, I will have a POETIC EMPIRE evolving before your eyes.
So that’s it for today. I am currently in Bonny Scotland visiting my lovely Mum who is celebrating her 80th birthday but I will continue to write on here daily whilst away.

Welcome to Poetry Corner Thursday. Today’s Poem was written back in 2014 and I do believe some of my earlier written poems are truly the best. I originally entitled it “Bubblegum Ambitions” but recently changed the title to “Let Your Life Be”, as I feel it’s more fitting.
Let Your Life Be, offers hidden wisdom in such a meaningful way. May this poetic verse below resonate with your being and help you on your own journey of life.
Take care of precious YOU.
You are not what you have,
or even what you do,
you are what you are,
be grateful for you.
To compare your life,
to another one,
to aggressively compete,
under the sun.
Will take your ego,
into the sky,
bubblegum ambitions,
no tears you will cry.
But then one day,
there will come a time,
you want to change,
from what’s mine is mine.
You crumble to the floor,

Welcome to Poetry Corner Thursday. Today’s Poem was written back in 2013 – I’ve been writing poems since a child. I originally entitled it “You Are Gold” but recently changed the title to “The Path of Life” as I feel it’s more fitting.
The Path of Life is full of wonder, amazement, good times, not so good times and everything else in between. May these poetic words below resonate with your heart and uplift your spirits to new heights.
This one is for YOU.
In every challenge,
there’s potential in you,
in every thought,
in all that you do.
Believe the hype,
believe it’s true,
you are special,
loved through and through.
A broken heart,
drowning at sea,
mind swirling around,
set yourself free.
As the high winds howl,
like a wolf in the night,
look for the stars,
as your guiding light.
When at the bottom,
the only way is up,
as shattered dreams,
feel heavy in your cup.
But one year on,
you’ll look back on this day,
success was in the failure,
because you found your way.
The path of life,
never goes straight,
one day lost in the maze,
another finding the gate.
The way out is clear,
you can’t see it with your eyes,
