Today, I went a long 9 mile round trip walk to the White Horse Hill in Uffington, Oxfordshire. I wanted to view the beautiful morning sunrise from the top of the hill, however it was a little too cloudy for that. Never mind, I saw something even better on the walk back, a beautiful double rainbow, wow, it truly made my day.

Oh Beautiful Life
Oh beautiful life,
I love you so.
Sometimes I forget,
When I’m feeling low.
But you’re always there,
by my side.
Loving me,
no secrets to hide.
For you are amazing,
a magical gift.
Your face always smiling,
my mood it does uplift.

so precious and pure.
Each breath that I take,

My mum told me when I was a little girl, I loved to play out in the rain, it always felt very refreshing and free to me. Â I would be jumping in and out of puddles and catching raindrops on my tongue, it made me feel so happy. Â Nowadays, with my adult head on, I simply just go for a walk in the rain but I still love it. Â I suppose living in Scotland is the perfect place for me, because we always get lots and lots of rain, so I am spoiled really. Â I went for a walk in the rain the other day, which inspired the next poem. Â May the next raindrops that fall on you, cleanse your soul and uplift you to higher spirits. Â Lots of love Clarabelle.
  A Walk in the Rain
A walk in the rain, refreshes your soul,
Ignites your dreams, explores your goal.
When the heart feels heavy, and all seems lost,
The answers are awakened, where once worry was the cost.
Think of freedom, as your mind escapes,
Into the space, to form cloudy shapes.
The view is still, silent whispers you will hear,
Every deep breath you take, banishes the fear.
All is beautiful, your vision is sweet,

I often talk about enjoying the present moment and appreciating the beauty of life. Today I want to share with you about the wonderful magical scene outside my window. Today is a cherry blossom tree miracle because it is snowing petals. Â Look for the miracles in your day, they are certainly there.Â
 
I smile, as I see them falling
It’s snowing petals, such a beautiful calling
Like soft pink feathers, dropping from the sky
Floating in the breeze, from the tree so high
A spiritual moment, a miracle view
I gaze out the window, beneath the sky so blue
A pink speckled garden, nourished with fruits
Lovingly nurtured and cared from the roots
A sweet moment in time, that deserves true space
To captivate this beauty, with full embrace
The world gives us treasures ,everyday
But sometimes we don’t see them, in this way
Our lives get too busy and we miss the summer snow
Take a deep breath for a moment, let routine go
Savour the pleasure, in mother-nature’s hands
As the sun sets over, on warm desert lands

Yesterday I had this inner calling to go close to the water, so I did. Â When I got there, I instantly felt at peace, surrounded by nature which was indeed nurturing my soul. Â I then got my notepad out and I wrote the following poem. Today, listen to your calling, inner silence is when it’s at its loudest. Â Clarabelle
The Water’s Edge
The water’s edge, sets my soul free,
Nature’s hands, are holding me.
Open space, silence in the lake,
This is real here, nothing seems fake.
A treasure island, where tranquility prevails,
A rower in the distance, sets his own sails.

The rain may be falling, but it is a beautiful sight,
Soft cloudy skies, birds beneath, in full flight.
The ripples on the water, come out to where I stand,
I take a deep breath in, and reach out my hand.
I feel no coldness, for love shares this place,
Its beauty is inside me, and puts a smile upon my face.

I was inspired to write this poem because everyday I see this cute little Robin Red Breast outside in my garden, chirping sweet happy tunes and it always makes me smile. Â It’s all part of enjoying the now, being present in every moment of your life and connecting with the wonderful sounds of nature.
 Little Robin, upon the tree
Everyday, you look at me
I wonder what you’re saying today
I’m inside this box, as you play away
I hear your song, a happy tune
It’s my morning call, I’ll see you soon
My garden is, a home for you
The trees are dancing, to whatever you do
I always see you on your own
You may look lonely but you’re not alone
For I am here, as the sun shines
