Awakening the world
My favourite time of day to write poems is very early in the morning or very late at night – when everything is much quieter around me.
I often dream of sitting in my ideal beach house writing poems on the ocean view balcony, whilst watching the sunrise or sunset – I plan to be doing this sometime in the future.
I therefore dedicate today’s poem to the dreams of tomorrow that I visualise today and what a wonderful feeling it truly is.
SWEET SUNRISE SUBLIME
The sun it rises,
glistening so bright,
it patiently waited,
goodbye to goodnight.
It’s warmth is tender,
a magical glow,
out to the horizon,
blue ocean below.
I stare at it softly,
with hypnotic eyes,
how blessed I am,
an amazing sunrise.
It gives me energy,
feelings of delight,
awakening the world,
happy and bright.
Thank you dear sunrise,
you make me feel good,
a whole day with you,
uplifts every mood.
No matter the weather,
you always shine
blue skies or rainbows,
sweet sunrise sublime.

Stunning
I was visiting my mum yesterday and I just had to take this stunning photograph for you of the sun setting in the sky in my hometown village of Carfin.
This is the sky view I used to look up at as a child in the summer time and dream of exciting adventures way far in the distance. Â The beauty of the sky can really take my breath away at times, just like this very moment yesterday. Â Â May you find much beauty in the magical moments of your day today. Â Love Clarabelle

We all have dreams, some of us make them happen and some of us hold on to them in our imagination and never let them go, allowing them to sleep silently in the midst of our minds and that’s okay, if that feels right for you.
I would say that I am a dreamer, my dreams make me feel alive, for me I need to take action towards making them come true, because in my opinion, without dreams the world would be a lifeless place.
This next poem was triggered by looking at a photograph of an absolutely stunning sunset, it was so hypnotic and mesmerising that I just had to write. Â This is what the imagination created, I hope it awakens your spirit too.
I watch the sunset, through your eyes
You are full of mystery and surprise
The brightest stars, the highest moon
Sparkling forever, in your cocoon
Your genuine spirit, is shining through
A magical paradise, as I dream of you
I feel your heart, connecting with me
The most powerful magnet, the eyes cannot see
I’m drenched in your soul, the river is deep
Together as one, this moment we shall keep
