Miracles are everywhere and can happen at any moment in your life, I truly believe that. Â I share with you below one of the poems from my paperback book, Clarabelle’s Musings, I hope you love it like I do:
Miracle to Life
As the angel, holds my soul,
The brightest diamond, comes out of coal.
Sparkling like stars, glistening forever,
Floating in the air, flowing like a river.
The staircase is calling, I see the light,
The sun would not change, this darkest night.
But somewhere from within, the heart beats stronger,
Vibrating positive energy, sadness no longer.
The tears turn to laughter, the mind is brave,
I climb over rocks and come out of my cave.
Such a beautiful scene, golden birds in flight,
The freshest breeze, body relaxed not tight.
To have a reason to live, and try again,
Is your miracle to life, free from pain.

Today, I went a long 9 mile round trip walk to the White Horse Hill in Uffington, Oxfordshire. I wanted to view the beautiful morning sunrise from the top of the hill, however it was a little too cloudy for that. Never mind, I saw something even better on the walk back, a beautiful double rainbow, wow, it truly made my day.

I had the most amazing childhood, it was full of fun, adventure and magical spirit. Â I was surrounded by an abundance of friends, love and laughter….I hold these special memories very close to my heart, they are locked in my soul forever…..we will never be apart!! Â This next poem is inspired by my childhood dreams and those treasured times of the past that have shaped who I am today. Â If I ever feel I have travelled afar from who I really am, I think of those rainbow days and those long summer sunsets, where I danced in the wind, laughed in the rain and played with love in my heart, every moment of every day. Rainbow Days
Sweet sweet child in me, playful and full of fun;
Dancing in the rain, laughing under the sun.
Happy was my heart, true friends were all around;
My soul skipped to the music, love in me profound.
Fresh air on my face, the clouds so magical too;
Hopping in an out of puddles, this is what I do.
I wake up with a song, playing in my heart;
Singing to this tune, I repeat this special part.
Smiles, hugs and warmth, fill my rainbow days;
Light shines from within me, reflecting spectrum rays.

Don’t you just love colours, sunny yellow, ocean blue, snowy white  – don’t they just seem to uplift your mood – well, they certainly put me higher spirits.  We all radiate beauty, like the spectrum of a rainbow, our colours shine from within and impact outwardly on the people we meet.  If you were a colour, what colour would you be?  Today, I would be a gold star, shining bright and feeling happy.
If you were a colour, what colour would you be?
Would you be bright orange or green like a tree?
Or maybe you’d be blue, like the deepest sea
A snowy white or a yellow bumble bee
Whatever your colour, whatever you see
Radiates beauty within you and me
A daring red, if that’s what you’ll be
Or a silver moon, just unlock the key
The rainbow is smiling, I’m filled with glee
Magical colours, can make you feel so happy

Good morning from beautifully sunny Bonny Scotland. Â I am really feeling the benefits of de-cluttering my house, I feel the air is lighter and the energy is flowing much more freely around me. Â Another benefit of having a ‘clear out’, is that I am coming across more song and poetry writings from years ago, I found some more last night. Â Until now, I have only ever shared poetry on this blog but I also write songs and thought I would share with you the lyrics from this song I wrote almost 20 years ago. Â The song is entitled, “I smile when I think of that rainbow” – may your day today be filled with all the colours of the rainbow. Â Lots of love Clarabelle
I smile when I think of that rainbow (Song Lyrics)
Verse 1: Â Shine a light, on the world around you,
See the shadows of life, appear every time.
Some are dark, and mysterious to others,
But they don’t see the inside, only the outline.
I have a vision, beyond empty detail,
Created from, these shadows alone.
They are pictured, in my mind full of memories,
Collected from past years, of my own.
