I live in Scotland and for the past week or so we have been getting alot of very beautiful sunshine, which is truly wonderful. I feel there are many benefits of catching a few rays and I wrote this next poem whilst having a few quiet moments basking in the sunshine in my back garden. The Quiet Sunlight
I soak up its energy, feel the heat on my face
A guiding light, the sun source at my place
Its impact is powerful, the strongest light
Brighter that the stars and the cool moonlight
It’s feeding my body, sharing its wealth
Good for my wellbeing and ultimate health
The quiet sunlight, drenches me with life
Takes away all worries, of trouble and strife
It creates a sentiment, of serenity so pure
I’m filling up with its richness, I no longer feel poor
To capture a moment, of time with the sun
Is special and heartfelt, makes me feel number one
