Take a look in the mirror, I mean a really good look in the mirror, what do you see? Are you reflecting back what you desire for yourself? I listened to a motivational speech yesterday, where some valuable words of wisdom were shared. It spoke about, “living your life, like you’re dying”, and it made me think about what that would mean for me. I suppose none of us are going to be around forever and I guess if a Doctor said to me today that I was dying, then I know I would immediately change my perceptions on a lot of things. None of us will get out of this life “alive”….right?? So, I guess in our present living, we are somewhat, dying. So now if I apply that thought to my current life, I am thinking, well, there are so many more things that I want to do, that I want to experience, that I want to achieve, so…..I just better get a move on. It is a good reminder, I think for us all, to not take life for granted and to be grateful for all our experiences. I think it is time for you and I to truly live the life we want…….what are you dying to do to?

This moment, right now, is all you have, tomorrow is not here yet and your future visions, albeit, extremely important are only visible right now in your imagination. But it is in the strength of your imagination that holds the key to getting what you want. The more clearer and specific your vision is, the more you will do in the now to get there. If your ultimate vision lives fully, in your heart, mind, spirit and soul, then you will automatically find yourself doing things that are in alignment with the achieving of that vision. Keep your vision alive by taking care of your present moments and be mindful that what you do now, creates your tomorrow and hopefully a better, more fulfilling one for you.

Let your imagination take you there now, and do all that you can each day to make that happen.

I have been enjoying what I call a couple of “Freedom Days”. What are “Freedom Days”? Well, to me, these are days where you get up early, with no definite plans in mind and see where the day takes you. These days for me are relaxing, free flowing, carefree and peaceful. I love my “me time”, Freedom Days.

It felt dark and cold at times and then bright, warm and sunny at other times, but through those darkest of days, through the toughest of times, when tears could not stop falling, all of a sudden and out of nowhere the inner light appeared with the feeling and knowing that the darker days are over. The trudge uphill has come to an end and she is fully back in control of her life and her true destiny.

She has fallen down many times but all she has ever known was to get back up, she had never practiced anything else, for that is just who she is. Even when she felt she was drowning in the gutter, she would be willing someone else on to do their best, to never give up, to keep going, to keep growing and to work towards a better life.

She has this feeling today, a feeling of unbelievable confidence in herself, a natural inner strength that she hasn’t recognised for a long time. She knows this feeling is real, it’s not fake, it’s not make up, it’s her true self speaking and she is in alignment with what she hears.

She wonders how this came about today, today of all days, when only 48 hours before she was going through a mind struggle of emotions and physical drain. What happened? This makes her think of a saying she values “have faith in the mystery of the unknown”.

She thinks back to the prayers she said recently, she thinks back to what she outwardly and openly asked the Universe for…..could it be this? Whatever it is and wherever it came from, what matters now is that she is going to embrace this feeling of new found confidence in herself and in her capabilities, she is going to channel all her energies in the right direction and she is going to change her world, she is going to turn it upside down and inside out for the better.

It’s been a long heavy journey, heavier than she could carry at times but she’s not going to focus on that, she is in charge of her now, in charge of her happiness and she knows that she has the inner strength and inner power to achieve all her dreams and more.

She wants to get out in the fresh air today, she wants to feel the wind and rain upon her face, she wants to take in the renewed energy of the environment around her. She feels free today, a different kind of freedom than what she has felt before, for she knows, she absolutely knows…….”I’m going to make it”.

Make today your “I’m going to make it day”.

Imagine one torch, shining in the darkness, it really helps you take your next step BUT I now want you to imagine, 30,000 of those torches all shining together, that sort of light beam, would light up the world.

Today, I celebrate reaching over 30,000 Clarabelle Blog views and I am “chuffed to bits”. Each view for me represents a welcomed light, like inspiration in the darkness and I want to thank YOU for being here and making that happen.

You are a light on my path, illuminating each step of the journey, you have contributed greatly to this blog success, thank YOU for your light.

I will continue to deliver the best I can to this blog, so more lights can join us and so we can be an inspirational light for each other.

Without YOU there is no light, only darkness, so please keep on sharing your light, because it has the potential to take us to the moon and back.

When you are in a situation that challenges the core of who you really are, that goes against your core values and beliefs, I believe, it makes those inner parts of you even stronger. Yes, at first there is minor discontentment but as time goes on in the given situation that discontentment can lead to major frustration and often inner resentment. This is when the “real” you must take a stance for what you stand for and gracefully bow out of the situation before it takes a hold of your inner wellbeing. The most important thing is that you learn from these experiences, you gain a greater self-awareness about what you want from life going forward and what values you must honour for yourself. Actually, it can be one of life’s greatest lessons that will lead you on the right path for you. At first, this uncomfortable experience, might feel like travelling on a train through the most beautiful scenery, in the dark, hence you miss the beauty of the journey. However, when you raise your inner light, when you stay true to yourself, dawn breaks, morning light appears and you can begin to truly enjoy the beautiful scenery of the journey again. Maybe travelling through the dark isn’t all that bad, because when morning comes and you look back, maybe just maybe you had to take that journey, maybe just maybe it strengthened your inner character and helped you to rebuild your life.

Of course, I am talking from self experience and you know, when I think of how this experience has shaped me, I guess travelling in the dark has been a purposeful journey of self discovery and inner illumination. I guess it’s been my own “wisdom in the dark”.

Wherever you are in life, whatever life throws at you, you will always have your inner torch to guide you to the light.

I see your inner glow, let it shine.

Ask for what you want, go on I urge you to ask for what you want in your life, whether it be to your boss, in prayer, the Universe, a friend, a lover, just ask for what you specifically want and you just might get it……I am sure the Universe is listening, so just you ask, have faith in the unknown and be open to receiving it. Very often and more so that not, when I write these blog posts I am talking to myself, gearing myself up to take on the next challenge and encouraging myself to stay committed to moving forward, no matter what the set backs are.

Today, I talk to you and me about staying determined, even if you feel you have gone off track, get back in the game and remember all that you have achieved in life so far. Nothing can stop you, nothing is impossible to you and remember that that kind of positive and determined attitude will get you to where you want to get to.

I am so very determined to change my life for the better and I know I will reach the top of that ladder, I know it, I believe it and I feel it. I am getting stronger and stronger and I am willing and encouraging you to do the same for yourself.

Stay focused, stay determined and remember you are more than capable of doing this.

So let us all stay determined to achieve our greatest goals in this game of life, throw me a curve ball, keep ’em coming, because I am ready for the catch, here it comes, catch it with me!!

As I approach a whopping 30,000 views on this Clarabelle Blog I often think back to the day I started it, what was my motivation for starting it?

For me it all started from a great passion inside of me, I am going to call it my “healing passion” and that is creative writing in many forms, but mainly to begin with it was poetry, purposeful, meaningful and passionate poetry from my heart and soul.

I love writing creatively, it frees my soul and makes me feel at one with myself. It makes me feel calm inside and at peace. To get this “peace”, I have to share a “piece”of my soul…..and I want to, it’s a MUST for me.

I love writing for you, I just love it and I do hope it helps you in some way, shape or form.

So a GIGANTIC thank you to YOU for being here, for taking the time to read the whispers of my soul, the inner wisdom that I feel doesn’t really come from books, I guess it’s just me.

So from a “just me” this thank you is for you, “just for you”.

Think of achieving your goals in life as, climbing up a ladder. I am applying this visual strategy to my own life right now and I am really loving the challenge of it. So I started at the very bottom of the ladder with nothing but a quantifiable dream of the end goal in mind. My ladder has about 13 steps, and each step signifies quantifiable progression, that I can measure. I am currently on the 3rd step and working on the 4th step plans. I love doing it this way, it seems much more fun and in some way much easier for me.

Maybe you will want to apply this strategy to achieving your own goals in life, because as soon as you climb up that first step, it’s amazing how this motivates your mind to “keep going” and “keep on achieving”.

I feel good about my ladder and I am on a wonderful mission to get to the top and you know what, I know I will.

This is your time to take responsibility for your life and sometimes that might mean doing something that most people are not prepared to do. Drop the ego, it gets in the way of the real you and can slow down your progression towards achieving your dreams. Push through the barriers of fear and embrace life the way it should be embraced. Time marches on, make sure you’re marching in the right direction towards your goals.

Just do what you need to do and see the positive in every stumbling block, because if you really look at it differently, you will find your greatest lessons.

Some environments are conducive to your health and well being and some run in conflict with it. How do you know, which is which? Well, more often than not you can tell by the way you feel in that place. If you are feeling a warm, calming, nice, happy and natural feeling with peace of mind, you are most definitely in the right environment for you. If however, you are feeling restless, frustrated, mind-trapped in any way, you are, I am guessing, in the wrong place for you. So think about where you are, what you’re doing and most importantly, how you are feeling. If you’re feeling good, then you most definitely are, in a good place.

Take your being into a warm, energising environment and feel the difference, almost instantly.

My Answer
I am going wherever my heart and mind takes me, I am working on a plan to create the best outcome for me and the people I love. It’s a step by step process and I am committed to staying focused on the end result. I am taking inspired action and I fully believe and have faith that I will get there, I just know I will. I might be taking the scenic route right now but I am finding it all very fascinating, full of character building and unexpected surprises. The challenge is on and I have signed up for it, it’s all my choice, I am choosing every step of the way.

I have really supportive friends and sometimes their words of wisdom can be straight to the point, but so true indeed.

My friend was telling me the other day, “sometimes, you’ve just got to suck it up, do some things you don’t really want to do”. I reflected on his thinking for a while and actually I tend to agree with him. Life isn’t always a bunch of roses and sometimes, albeit on a temporary basis, you’ve just got to “suck it up” and that my beautiful friends is what I’m doing right now. If I don’t do this right now, life will suck me up and we can’t have that haha – no way, I have this wonderful blog to regularly update and talk to you!!

So “suck it up” if you need to…….but only on the basis that it is temporary…..because this is your life and I want you to design it YOUR way. A little bit of sacrifice and sucking it up might even add much more meaningful depth to your character.

Be prepared to do what most people will not do…….this is the catapult that will support you greatly towards your destination.
