It’s never easy but always worth it!
It took me a good long 10 years to get my own greeting card website up and running. It took over a year to be built by the website developer and I’m now proud to say www.cardcandy.shop is alive and kicking.
The good thing about this is my customers can now purchase from me direct, without going through commission based ecommerce platforms such as Amazon and Etsy. This means less seller fees for me and I can keep greeting card prices more reasonable for customers and ship worldwide.

I awakened during the night and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I thought I would put this time to good use.
Poetry is my “go to” place, it’s like self-therapy, freeing my soul towards the light.

I would rather fill my mind with meaningful poetry than worries of war.
Focussing on problems, won’t serve me well and makes me feel worse.
My goal in life is to be a little better everyday and that means keeping my mind occupied with good thoughts and doing good things – like beautiful poetry.
Creative flow is a natural remedy for self-help. When I see “white space”, I am allured by its unlimited potential. Pure imagination blended with a burst of endless possibility, where the mind escapes into boundless territory and uses poetic words to reflect that sensation.
Eternal escapism.
Heaven on earth.
Divine oneness.
I am so very lucky to be able to enter this captivating world, in any moment. There is so much joy in that blessing. A special gift, we can all access. Often, the reason we don’t, is because our lives are so terribly busy and the noise of problems, born in “automatic pilot mode” usually steals our day. Be careful, it doesn’t thieve you of your life.
Your mind yearns for a little more softness, peace and tranquility.
A quiet mind is such a powerful tool.
Maybe it’s time for you to, discover your inner joy, through the space and light of life.
The first step, is for you to be aware and the rest will flow from there.
I shall go back to sleep now, with a fulfilled heart and harmonious mind.

run wild, free and happy
When you become free from the limited minds of others, then you will have the ability to face most fears – if not all!
Self-conscious thinking is never going to get you anywhere but stuck and believe me, ‘stuck in the mud”, is not a good look at all.
When you’re thinking and doing becomes boundless, you achieve more and more each and everyday.
When you go from being fearful to saying, “I’m not scared”, you open a whole new world for yourself.
Don’t be a prisoner to your thinking, because none of it is real anyway.
Shift your cellblock mindset to beautiful thoughts of open landscapes, where you run wild, free and happy.
I know where my thoughts would rather be!

Behind every strategy is another strategy – let me explain.
So let’s say you want to change something for the better in your life. Let’s say for example, you want to change your career and go in a completely different direction. Let’s say you want to move away from your Management Consultancy Business and progress with a new career in property development. So first of all, I would say, “Hey you, that’s truly amazing, I admire your spirit, drive and determination to change your future. Congratulations! You’ve taken your very first step. Well done!” Now the next part for you is likely to be exciting, crazy, liberating, fulfilling, challenging and possibly frightening – all at once!! You’ve gained the knowledge, you’ve got the outer strategy and you are damn well ready to execute – oh yes, you definitely know where you’re going with this one. However, I also want you to think about your inner strategy – what do I mean by that?
Your inner strategy is that vitally important checklist, the inner compass guiding and strengthening you on the unknown path ahead. This inner strategy is the imperative foundations that you will build your outer strategy upon – you’ve got to get the inner strategy right…...first and foremost. On your inner strategy checklist you will be clear on the following areas:
Your inner strategy is more important than the outer strategy. You’ve got to be clear on this stuff at the very beginning because if you are unclear on any of these statements, any slight failure along the way, may crumble your progress.
What I am saying is, go to work on yourself, know your inner strategy, have clarity and self awareness about you, for this will be the BEST start you can ever give yourself before any major life change. This is the sure start that will inevitably lead you to success.

I am here because you shine
I closed my eyes and walked into the light.
There I met an older and much wiser woman.
She smiled at me.
She held a beautiful azure blue flower in her hand.
She took my hand and placed the flower in it.
Without any words, she gave me this message…..
Your magical heart can make the invisible visible.
I am here because you shine.
The blue of this flower represents the ocean and the sky.
The petals represent the fragility of life.
The wonder is not in the flower.
The miracle is in you.
The old lady then disappeared.
The flower turned into tiny little seeds in the palm of my hand.
I then knew, it was time to self-nurture and grow.

I didn’t know it, I honestly didn’t know this, for the best part of my life, I didn’t know this……I just didn’t.
Well, what is it, that I didn’t know?
I didn’t know that I could write, I didn’t know that I would want to write, I didn’t know that I was passionate about writing, until I started writing. I mean really started writing, regularly, consistently and being inspired to write on this blog.
It’s not that I didn’t write before, sure I’ve wrote many policies and procedures, I’ve written University Assignments, I’ve written Board Reports, I’ve written Client Summary Reports but and I mean a BIG BUT, to me, although they obviously were writing, they weren’t freedom writing, they weren’t my heart speaking and flowing with inspiring graciousness.
So to me there is “writing” and there is “real writing” and I am now captivated in the latter.
I am 41 years young now and I started this Clarabelle Blog at the age of 38, wow, has it really taken that long for me to hear my calling, for me to really truly listen to the whispers of my heart?? WOW!!
I guess it has…………………..and you know what, it doesn’t matter when in life you discover what your calling is, what’s more important is that you respond positively and do what your heart is telling you to do and in my case, I guess, it is writing……writing like this, yes, just like this, nothing too fancy, nothing too wordy, keeping it simple but full of inspirational wisdom with a poetic verse thrown in for good measure.
Isn’t life kinda funny, one minute you think you’re headed on one path and all of a sudden, something happens and you’re nudged up another path (notice I said “up” not “down”)!! Cos we’re on our way up here, right!!
I wonder what your heart is whispering to you…..I wonder? Do you wonder, or do you know the answer already to that one? I really hope you do and you are acting upon it.
