Rainbow of hope
I disclosed my saddened heart into the night, to only come out stronger.
The light of day is fruity and fresh and the rainbow of hope is smiling once again.

Never Meant To Be
You call me a rolling stone,
it was never meant to be,
an explorer merging into the sunset,
life turned out to be free.

Thinking about the impossible,
chasing drifting dreams,
escaping a happy home,
nothing is what it seems.

Or so be it,
no sparkling golden crown,
where rivers of hope run,
and sinking thoughts do drown.

I made my own way,
through misty turmoil,
and angry songs,

My stone rolled upwards,
higher than a mountain top,

Awakening the world
My favourite time of day to write poems is very early in the morning or very late at night – when everything is much quieter around me.
I often dream of sitting in my ideal beach house writing poems on the ocean view balcony, whilst watching the sunrise or sunset – I plan to be doing this sometime in the future.
I therefore dedicate today’s poem to the dreams of tomorrow that I visualise today and what a wonderful feeling it truly is.
SWEET SUNRISE SUBLIME
The sun it rises,
glistening so bright,
it patiently waited,
goodbye to goodnight.
It’s warmth is tender,
a magical glow,
out to the horizon,
blue ocean below.
I stare at it softly,
with hypnotic eyes,
how blessed I am,
an amazing sunrise.
It gives me energy,
feelings of delight,
awakening the world,
happy and bright.
Thank you dear sunrise,
you make me feel good,
a whole day with you,
uplifts every mood.

I was reflecting today (28 October 2022) on how much I love writing poetry, so much so, that I decided to change this whole Clarabelle blog into one GIGANTIC POETIC VISION.
So you will see that some things have changed around here and my main aim will be to continue to write poetry daily and share it with you. Going back to my roots and keeping it simple.
I will still add in some empowerment food for thought along the way but my strong focus now, going forward is, quite simply, to write poems and share them with you.
So there you have it. Poetry all the way.
The Clarabelle Podcast will now become the Clarabelle Poetry Podcast and I will share my spoken word poetry with you.
The motivational and encouraging posts will now be entwined in some sort of poetic format.
The videos I create, will all be poetic.

The Path of Life is full of wonder, amazement, good times, not so good times and everything else in between. May these poetic words below resonate with your heart and uplift your spirits to new heights.

In every challenge,
there’s potential in you,
in every thought,
in all that you do.
Believe the hype,
believe it’s true,
you are special,
loved through and through.
A broken heart,
drowning at sea,
mind swirling around,
set yourself free.
As the high winds howl,
like a wolf in the night,
look for the stars,
as your guiding light.
When at the bottom,
the only way is up,
as shattered dreams,
feel heavy in your cup.
But one year on,
you’ll look back on this day,
success was in the failure,
because you found your way.
The path of life,
never goes straight,
one day lost in the maze,
