Miracle to Life
As the angel, holds my soul,
The brightest diamond, comes out of coal.
Sparkling like stars, glistening forever,
Floating in the air, flowing like a river.
The staircase is calling, I see the light,
The sun would not change, this darkest night.
But somewhere from within, the heart beats stronger,
Vibrating positive energy, sadness no longer.
The tears turn to laughter, the mind is brave,
I climb over rocks and come out of my cave.
Such a beautiful scene, golden birds in flight,
The freshest breeze, body relaxed not tight.
To have a reason to live, and try again,
Is your miracle to life, free from pain.

Even in the darkest night….

In the Heat of the Night
Sometimes we all need a little bit of motivation to help us see through the day, when times are tough, sometimes you can be uplifted by hearing the right words. I wrote this song last week which is all about being in “Yes You Can” mode and funnily enough I called it “Yes You Can”. I have created the melody and just need to work on the backing track and getting it recorded but I thought I would share the words here with you today. Oh sweet and precious moment, I cherish you now;
Long have I awaited, to free me from this how.
I feel my heart glisten, spreading happy thoughts;
Releasing me from pain, undoing the difficult knots.
For once when I was sad, life did get me down;
A painted smile upon my face, masking the frown.
But even through that anguish, a light in me did shine;
