Live in peace and love

I know the popular saying is, “calm before the storm” but today, I experience “calm after the storm“.
Today is blue skies and bright sunshine and yesterday was crazy chaos – oh what a difference a day makes!
This metaphor of life aligns perfectly with the ups and downs each of us face – good days…bad days…they come and go like clouds drifting by.
If it’s stormy for you right now, know that better days are coming.

No matter what is going on, on the outside, stay calm and peaceful on the inside.
Your peace of heart and mind matters…always.
May you find the purest tranquility in the core of your being today.
Live in peace and love.

True faith and purpose always wins the day

There’s this short quote I often say to myself:
“Have faith in the mystery of the unknown.”
I love these words of wisdom, they keep my mind in check, when things don’t seem to be going my way.
It’s a reminder to us all that we do not have a crystal ball and we must believe our aligned path will bring us to the most treasured pleasures.
This is where true faith and purpose always wins the day.
When that deepest part of your heart is locked in to forever goodness – no negative barriers can stand in your way. So much so, they don’t even exist.
Where progress is slow, but your faith in the mystery of the unknown, holds true for you – it’s just a matter of time before you breakthrough.
Your inner strength, is like a ray of bright sunlight bursting through dark cloudy skies.

There is no thunder without lightning. Your positive magnetic energy, is like that spectacular lighting bolt, slicing through those deafening roars and igniting your electrifying dreams.
You don’t often succeed in life by chance.
Strong faith does not need luck.
Hope has no healthy heartbeat.
Purpose blended with passion, is a dynamic duo.
Knowing, is beyond believing.
Open yourself up to the blank space before you and feel your way into your desired future.
Keep the faith.
Here’s a short Youtube video, I created many years ago – just for you…
I know, you’re going really far. 🦋

stronger you

Beyond hurt…
is a stronger you

Tough days don’t last forever 🤍
It’s okay, not to be okay…
Know this…you are so much stronger than you realise and so much greater than you dare to believe.
I’m with you 🤍

Live in each moment

In the spirit of self-succes – RISE!
Be open to the abundance of opportunities around you and use your inner strength and determination to raise your game.
You deserve a GREAT life and you deserve to be truly successful in the pursuit of your dreams
If you’re really serious about it, you’ll do all that you can to ‘make it happen’.
The Universe will serve you well, if you serve you well and by that I mean, honouring your core values, every step of the way.
You will never take a wrong path by aligning to who you truly are and what you stand for.
The door to your best self is only a few steps of bravery away.
Live in each moment and commit to conquering any inner fears that come your way.
There is only ever one battle in life and that is the inner battle of where you stand and where you want to get to.
Believe me, without self-sabotage you would be there already, so I guess that’s a great place to start.
Don’t believe everything you think – especially the negative stuff, for that will only take you backwards.
Forge forward with your head held high and you will succeed.
Clarabelle
The power of daily solitude

Seek harmony, see light.
Dance to the tune of life’s harmony and emerge in a new light.
Amongst the chaos of life, it can be difficult to find a sense of peace and tranquility. Honour thy honesty and harmony will breathe light.
Find a sense of peace through prayer, self-reflection and purpose.
For in the deepest of silence, our truth whispers like an inner thunder.
In moments of doubt, despair and dread, know that alone time, blended with quiet space, will induce a fresh sunlight into any dark day.
Keeping it moving all the time, might seem like a good idea but this may also lead to “messy movements”, which in turn, can create more damaging chaos.
After one’s silent time, we make the right moves and not before.
You owe yourself the power of daily solitude, silence and serenity.
Breathe in the light and emerge so much stronger.
Clarabelle
Let the world see you shine

Breathe in the colours of life.
You only have to look up to the sky to see beauty at its best.
You only have to feel with your heart to believe that you’re on the right path.
Be grateful for the abundance around you and offer out your love everyday.
You are special, unique and wonderful in every way – let the world see you shine.
Clarabelle
Never rush the process of life

Savour the beauty of life.
To get the best out of a joyful life and all its magical wonders, one must savour each beautiful moment.
Never rush the process of life and the abundance it offers you. Take time to relax in its self-healing powers and float in its waters of love.
Life is not a sprint to the finish line, it is a treasured, slow walk along the white sandy beach, soaking up the wonderful energies of the warm sunshine.
Baby steps will take you anywhere you want to go.
Clarabelle
When faith meets love
Poetic heart,
shining bright,
in the light of day,
on a starry night.
You give me hope,
and help me grow,
you let me see,
what I should know.
Times gone by,
tells the story,
when faith meets love,
wisdom and glory.
I hear your words,
gently talking,
guiding me forward,
to keep on walking.
Clarabelle
Do the work.

Imagine what’s beyond your dreams – visualise it now!
Please don’t wait for dreams to happen for you, you’ve got to do the work day in and day out.
You may not feel like working towards your dreams everyday, but believe me, that’s how you will achieve them.
Keep on dreaming but keep on putting the work in daily.
You’ve got this my friend.

Self-belief can take you places
Good day to you and happy Thursday – it’s Poetry Corner day today, so a very warm welcome to you.
Explore the wisdom in your mind.
A gasp for air,
thirsty for life,
battling the storms,
of trouble and strife.
A messy mind,
a broken heart,
stuck in the moment,
where do you start?
Believe in you,
the strength within,
your beautiful heart,
desire to win.
For self-belief,
can you take you places,
flying high,
amongst smiling faces.
You can do it,
know this is true,
have faith in yourself,
and your dreams too.
Your inner wisdom,
will show you the way,
a new you is born,
believe in you today.

Everyone in the community knew each other and looked out for each other.
MY SWEET SWEET MEMORIES FROM THE LATE 70S & EARLY 80S
You could leave your house door open during the night;
You could go for an early sole run in the park with no fear;
You would chat outside to your next door neighbour for hours;
No one carried a mobile phone and everyone coped fine;
Children played in large groups outside after school;
Local playgrounds were filled with children, without the need for parents being there;
Children used their imagination and played ‘made up’ games with their friends;
You only had one true best friend but it was called a ‘best pal’;
We didn’t have a landline at home and no one really cared;
All family dinners were home made;
A holiday was going on family day trips to the closest seaside location;
There was only three TV channels and we felt spoiled for choice;
If you could afford a taxi, you were rich;
If you missed the bus, you had to wait another hour on the next one;
Those tiny bronze half pence pieces existed and you felt you had loads of money;
Children would jump for joy with a 10 pence mix up;
Children played water fights during the summer holidays with empty washing up liquid bottles;
Everyone in the community knew each other and looked out for each other;
Hardly anyone had a car;
Getting a 50 pence toy from the local shop, felt like Christmas;
The milkman delivered your glass bottles of milk on your front door step every morning;
As children, we played, football rounders, hide and seek, skipping ropes, kick the can, hopscotch, obstacle courses, sprint races, tennis, swingball, talent shows…and all outdoors!
My Dad, Grans, Granda, Aunties, Uncle, Godmother and some good School Pals were all living back then – now sadly missed . . . . . . oh how I remember when!

forever inspiring
You're the Star, that shines so bright, giving me hope, bringing me light. You're the Star, in my heart, forever inspiring, igniting each part. You're the Star, strong in power, fading the darkness, sparkling each hour. You're the Star, soulful in time, guiding to goodness, simply divine. By Clarabelle 28 October 2021 London, UK
missing their touch
Most of us who have suffered the great loss of a precious loved one, may indeed connect to the following poem. I want you to know that I feel you and I truly understand the deepest hurt losing a loved one can bring.
WHEN YOU LOSE A LIFE
When you lose a life, you loved so much, absence of hugs, missing their touch. You grieve their heart, you once embodied before, many sleepless nights, craving them more. An invisible pain, that never goes away, so lost without them, a hate for each day. No one shares, the hurt in you, life feels numb, purposeless too. But know their presence, lives in your soul, a bond so strong, making you whole. Believe they stand, right by your side, giving you energy, watching with pride. They are your candle, giving you light, they are your blanket, comforting you at night. They listen to your whispers, guide your inner thoughts, solving your problems, untying the knots. So remember their smile, laughter and glow, bringing you solice, when you feel low. Know that their spirit, embraces your love, forever your star, shining from above. I didn’t know it, I honestly didn’t know this, for the best part of my life, I didn’t know this……I just didn’t.
Well, what is it, that I didn’t know?
I didn’t know that I could write, I didn’t know that I would want to write, I didn’t know that I was passionate about writing, until I started writing. I mean really started writing, regularly, consistently and being inspired to write on this blog.
It’s not that I didn’t write before, sure I’ve wrote many policies and procedures, I’ve written University Assignments, I’ve written Board Reports, I’ve written Client Summary Reports but and I mean a BIG BUT, to me, although they obviously were writing, they weren’t freedom writing, they weren’t my heart speaking and flowing with inspiring graciousness.
So to me there is “writing” and there is “real writing” and I am now captivated in the latter.
I am 41 years young now and I started this Clarabelle Blog at the age of 38, wow, has it really taken that long for me to hear my calling, for me to really truly listen to the whispers of my heart?? WOW!!
I guess it has…………………..and you know what, it doesn’t matter when in life you discover what your calling is, what’s more important is that you respond positively and do what your heart is telling you to do and in my case, I guess, it is writing……writing like this, yes, just like this, nothing too fancy, nothing too wordy, keeping it simple but full of inspirational wisdom with a poetic verse thrown in for good measure.
Isn’t life kinda funny, one minute you think you’re headed on one path and all of a sudden, something happens and you’re nudged up another path (notice I said “up” not “down”)!! Cos we’re on our way up here, right!!
I wonder what your heart is whispering to you…..I wonder? Do you wonder, or do you know the answer already to that one? I really hope you do and you are acting upon it.
Lots of love to you today, as always, Clarabelle
I was talking to my friend today and I ended the conversation with “Hang in there”…… It inspired the poem below:
Hang on Tight
Hang on tight,
My lovely friend.
Keep up the fight,
Until the end.
This year’s been tough,
A burden to carry.
But soon the night sky,
Will be bright and starry.
An Angel she whispers,
Softly in my ear.
Let go of the past,
Don’t shed another tear.
For all this kicking
And punching won’t win.
It’s a hard trek I know,
For your next of kin.
I pray every night,
For you, better days,
Your family together,
This loving Angel says.
I’m on your shoulder,
Taking care of you.
Holding your hand,
During tough times too.
And Soon tomorrow,
Will shine in your heart.
No more sadness,
Just a happy fresh start.

A poem of how funny life can be sometimes….funny strange that is!!
Isn’t Life Funny
Isn’t life funny,
In a strange kind of way.
One moment you’re up,
Another you’re in dismay.
As the clouds pass by,
Remember one thing.
That all can change,
With a telephone ring.
For what you seek,
Is seeking you.
It’s in the air,
Travelling through.
It wants to make you happy,
It wants to make you thrive.
Growing like a sunflower,
Feeling so alive.
So laugh when you can,
Smile at the passer by.
Life is what it is,
And I know you know why.
By Clarabelle
Don’t be a prisoner of your own mind, don’t tighten the straight jacket with unfulfilling whispers. Remember this my friend, hope sets you free. A poem about hope for you:
Hope Sets You Free
Hope is taking a chance,
A last look glance.
A hand held tight,
When nothing seems right.
Eyes with a soul,
Tunnel towards the goal.
A prayer at the start,
A loving heart.
It is the fire,
Lighting the desire.
A candle in rhyme,
Flickering through time.
Let hope be your key,
Hope sets you free.
The Angel of Hope is in your heart, welcome her today with open arms.
Love Clarabelle.

I am in a poetic mood this morning, this one is for you, take it all in and just “Breathe”.
Breathe in life,
energy from the sun.
Breathe in hope,
memories have begun.
Breathe in faith,
beauty of your heart.
Breathe in love,
the last jigsaw part.
Breathe in you,
Breathe in me.
Breathe in together.
Breathe in we.

Have faith in your heart and let it bring to you all that you desire. Take inspired action all the way and enjoy the journey as best as you can. I love this quote below and wanted to share it with you today:
Love, Clarabelle

Keep the faith my friends, keep the faith my friends…..such a good statement I said it twice. Faith for me, is peace in your heart forever and if you mix that with love, true love, wow you have everything you will ever need to go forward in life. So I will say it again, “Keep the Faith”, maybe you just needed to hear that today. Lots of love to you, Clarabelle.
Below is a post taken from an older blog of mine…..I don’t use this blog any more however I feel some of the more empowering posts from it would be really good to share on here. This post was originally written in 2009, I hope it makes you think a little differently. Go for your goals today. Love Clarabelle.
Today, I was at the beach watching a little girl chase her father’s remote controlled car around in circles. She kept jumping forward and falling on her knees in an effort to catch the car as it skidded by. She did this 31 times and failed. But on attempt number 32, she caught the car. [Makes Me Think (MMT), Marc and Angel]
Clarabelle’s thoughts…..
If only as adults we were sometimes as brave and determined as that young child and then maybe our fear of failure would not inhibit us from our most greatest life successes. How many times have we as adults only have had to fail once and then we never try or do again? What made that little girl not give up after the first time? I think for sure she was enjoying the journey of her learning experience and having lots of fun, fun, fun with her father. I also think she did not care about what anybody else thought. She had no negative thoughts in her mind preventing her from continuing and no limiting beliefs blocking her path. She sounded excited, happy and free to never give up—even after 31 times.
What have you prevented yourself from doing after falling at the first hurdle?
What would it mean for you to get back up, stand tall, be confident and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead?
Surely in every failure there is a lesson to be learned and by applying the lessons second or third time around maybe, just maybe, your outcome would be different every time, and every time I bet you would get closer to your goal.(Claire Murray)
“It only takes one person to change your life—YOU” [Ruth Casey]
When someone close to us dies, often prayer can help us to see through each day until we become strong again and are ready to face the world. I wrote this prayer after hearing about the loss of a friend’s loved one, I hope its sentiment brings strength to anyone who is going through this deep sadness at this time in their life. Love to you Clarabelle.

Prayer for the Loss of a Loved One
Dear God,
I pray that my loved one, is now held gently in your loving arms.
May their soul now be free and abundant with love and light.
Let their happy loving spirit, shine and guide us here on earth.
I pray that my close family and friends, remain strong for each other.
May we continue to be blessed with your loving presence, every moment of every day.
Amen
Life can be really really tough sometimes, it can throw you curve ball after curve ball, whilst you’re climbing up the highest mountain, in the toughest terrain and then just when you think you’re getting somewhere, down comes the avalanche!! You may not realise it, but this is where the lighting strikes, this is where the miracle happens….saturated in doubts and drenched in tears, your heart and soul gets to work and creates a special magic inside of you, which reaches out and touches the stars. When you feel the deepest pain, believe me, it’s the start of your healing. How do I know?……I’ve been there. The New Year is just around the corner, there is life after 2012, I see it is so very special for you, full of love and abundance. My inner calling told me to share this with you today…….sometimes we all need a helping hand – listen to the whispers of your heart, for they only speak truth to you. Much love to you today, Clarabelle.
There’s a Champion in YOU!!
Your light shines brighter, in the dark,
Your heart beats stronger, but leaves no mark.
The soul reconnects, to all of you,
The mountain climb, is in full view.
Pause for a second, feel the calmness in the air,
Your inner being, has much love to share.
The battle ain’t over, but YOU will win,
Believe it and see it, hold up that chin.
Because sometimes we fall, and keep on falling,
Tumbling down the hill, away from our calling.
***
But where you land, is the start of your healing,
Disguised in your tears, and in the pain you are feeling.
Nothing feels worse, but please trust, in what I say,
As you freeze in the moment, in the heat of the day.
You are a miracle, you are the one,
That can move any mountain, your journey has begun.
For inside your being, a bright flame does glow,
The tougher life gets, the more it does grow.
The eyes cannot see it, as the mind struggles on,
But it’s burning down the virus, until it’s all gone.
Don’t shut out these whispers, have faith, they are true,
Keep going, my friend, there’s a champion in YOU!!

What does it really mean to have faith? Faith is taking the next step without seeing the whole staircase and ‘Faith is the bird that sings to the dawn while it is still dark’ [Tagore]. Beautiful words and very true, without faith in ourselves and without faith in others, where would we be? The following poem is about love and believing in faith, whatever that maybe for you.
Motion pictures, in my mind
Broken heart, love was blind
Where is the stage, that I do seek?
Empty soul, I feel so weak.
Excited thoughts, of what could be
Embraced together, that’s you and me
But now the gap, swells up inside
I let it go, because of pride
My mouth was dry, I lay on the ground
The words got stuck, just silence, no sound
My dreams of white, as you lead the way
Are lost forever, what do I say
What do I do, is there hope at all?
Let me break these chains, kick down the wall
The audience awaits, with tears in their eyes
The curtain is called, to my surprise
There you stand, with a smile on your face
Is this real, as I stand in this place
The universe was listening, the whispers were loud
It brought us together, out of the crowd
To have faith in your heart, to believe and see
That together as one, we were meant to be

Be patient…..sometimes the answer is right where you are. This lesson I have learned today, some decisions and choices are not to be rushed, they need some gentle time to simmer before the right answer comes to boil. Trust yourself, trust the universe and have faith in your inner guidance. . . . then lead the way. This next poem is inspired by just that, I hope you resonate with it in some way.
When the Universe is Calling
When the universe is calling, listen with care
Be patient with decisions, before you go there
Channel your energies, in the right direction for you
If you get off track, you’ll soon know what to do
Time is of the essence, but don’t rush the choice
Options are plenty, hear your inner voice
It may take many months, to turn hope around
Never give up faith, are the echoes of my sound
The journey you’re on, will have its ups and downs
Between big city lights, or small village towns
The mind is where it’s at, remember that for sure
The soul does not need to travel, to get that guided tour
The answers are within, the question knocks on the door
Keep your integrity, authenticity will give you more
The lessons are in life, sometimes in the waiting game
Take your foot of the accelerator and ignite your internal flame
