Let your thoughts synchronize to the tune of the Universe and soon you’ll be sailing into the sunset.
Over the last week, for some reason, pink flamingos kept coming into my mind and I had no idea why.
These stunning birds make me think of powder white sand, caressing against azure blue waters, under the magnetic glow of the “golden” hour.
Pink flamingos bring this majestic beach scene to life. They represent ‘magical‘ for me.
I remember as a young child, I used to love listening to songs from the 70s and 80s. I would hide away in my bedroom, with a notepad and pen, and write down the lyrics from songs playing on the radio – music that touched me emotionally in someway.
Back then, it wasn’t as easy as it is today, where we can access a song and its lyrics, instantly from Google.
It would take me hours to complete this process. I’d have to record the song from the radio or TV, using a blank tape in a tape recorder – then continously play, pause, rewind and replay the song, just to get the lyrics right. May I just say, often I’d get the words wrong and found this out, to my huge dissappointment, many years later. Hee Hee!
It was truly worth the time consuming process, for as soon as I had those full lyrics, I would then sing that song until my heart’s content.
There was something about those songs from the 80s, that connected to me so deeply – I was hooked!
It will come as no surprise, my secret dream job as a child, was to be a songwriter – but those types of dreams were laughed at back in my day – hence I kept it a secret and became a Human Resources Consultant and Executive Coach – not even close!
So where does all this relate to the pink flamingo thoughts?
I was watching some “positive” thinking videos on TikTok, looking for inspiration for my own TikTok creations. I started to hone in on the background music being played in some of these videos – and the same song kept popping up.
This song hit me deep – it melted my soul. This breathtakingly beautiful song is called “Sailing” released in 1979 by the American Artist, Christopher Cross and the album cover is a PINK FLAMINGO. The song “Sailing” won three grammy awards in 1980.
Everything about this song is magnetic – it speaks to me in a different way, and the lyrics are so special.
The song is about producing creative art and using the theme of “Sailing” to symbolise the magical creative flow feeling us artists experience when lost in the imaginative process. It’s pure genius. Here is the link to what Christopher says about it on his website.
Today, this beautiful song has crossed paths with you – maybe for a reason!
Below is a Youtube video of Christopher Cross and his wonderful band singing “Sailing“. I’ve also added the meaningful lyrics, so you can sing along.
Well, it’s not far down to paradise At least it’s not for me And if the wind is right you can sail away And find tranquility Oh, the canvas can do miracles Just you wait and see, believe me
It’s not far to never never land No reason to pretend And if the wind is right you can find the joy Of innocence again Oh, the canvas can do miracles Just you wait and see, believe me
Sailing Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me Soon I will be free
Fantasy It gets the best of me When I’m sailing
All caught up in the reverie Every word is a symphony Won’t you believe me?
Sailing Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me And soon I will be free
Well, it’s not far back to sanity At least it’s not for me And if the wind is right you can sail away And find serenity Oh, the canvas can do miracles Just you wait and see, really, believe me
Sailing Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me And soon I will be free
In the meantime, I’m going to use the power of my imaginative heart to ignite specialness onto the blank canvas and connect to an “out of this world” experience.
You may not think that or believe it of yourself – but YOU ARE.
We are being informed a lot today about artificial intelligence – Do you think artificial can outshine an original creation?
AI is fake.
I would challenge ANY future robot to better create poignant poetry, deep words of wisdom or a beautiful emotional ballad.
AI will never be as emotionally perceptive as an awakened soul.
If AI, in the far future, ever tries to take over us human beings, they are ultimately finished, because they cannot advance emotionally.
Our feelings and emotions are what make us invincible.
The famous Selfridges in Oxford Street, London, once had an AI robot in the window. I stopped and stared at it for a while. The lady standing next to me, asked, “Does that scare you?”. I just looked at her in complete surprise. She said, “It scares me”, and then walked away.
I was left a little bewildered by her statement, for it was something I had never ever thought about.
My answer to her question therefore, is a hard “No“.
Why would I be scared of a fake robot in a shop window? Of course, she was referring to her imagined future with AI.
I’ve watched interviews with people like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan discuss the scary future of AI. I do respect these individuals and the amazing successes they have achieved in life.
Call me ignorant, naive or crazy – I believe no robot is better than you or I, at least, emotionally.
A robot may get good at copying us human beings, but, in my opinion, they will never supercede us in that respect.
Articial Intelligence supports huge scale global advancement but us, human beings, are already beyond that advancement – we just need to learn more about how we access that superior mode.
Therefore, to be ahead of the game, and before any feared robot takeover, we must study and apply leading edge teachings.
I want you to, DYOR on this one, but know you can advance by learning from the very best.
into the light amongst the sunflowers before the people
~ Clarabelle
I remember in 2014 when I was on a soulful nature walk in the beautiful Oxfordshire Countryside. The sun was shining, skies were so blue and everything within me felt at peace.
Magical sunflowers
I got a little lost on this walk and happened to stumble across the most beautiful field of sunflowers – it was breathtakingly magical to me – in that wonderful moment, I was in absolute awe.
It was something new for me to see and I did not expect to see such beauty and wonder, as I was happily strolling along.
Life can be a bit like that….you may feel lost on your journey at times, but more often than not, it can lead you to magical places of self-discovery, unexpected opportunity and wondrous surprises.
I felt super blessed that day and was totally grateful in the moment.
I love sunflowers
I love sunflowers, they have been significant in many areas of my life, and I feel a beautiful connection to them.
I encourage you to walk amongst the magnificence of nature and know how truly special the experience is.
Have you ever been up close to a sunny bright field of sunflowers?
Afternoon Tea with Good Friends at Hotel Cafe Royal, Regent Street, London
I’m an afternoon tea lover and living here in Central London offers an abundance of exquisite five star options.
I have been very lucky to experience delicious afternoon teas at The Grill Room, formerly the Oscar Wilde Lounge at Hotel Cafe Royal; the Crystal Moon Lounge at the Corinthia and more recently, The Rosebery dining room at the Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge. My favourite so far, was afternoon tea at the Crystal Moon Lounge, it was just perfect in everyway.
Back Again with my Besties! A lovely afternoon tea at Hotel Cafe Royal
I have a joyous meeting coming up, and that is, to take my niece Megan, who will be visiting London from bonny Scotland, to enjoy an extra special afternoon tea and we’re so excited about it.
An elegant afternoon at the Corinthia with beautiful friends
Research has gone underway and the following afternoon teas are currently on my hit list:
The Ritz – “one of most iconic experiences in the world”
The Landmark – “London’s most exquisite aftetnoon tea…”
There are many others on my list such as The Dorchester, The Langham, The Shard, Claridges and I just know I’ll get to experience all these in due course.
Afternoon Tea with Clarabelle, at the Mandarin Oriental
Most certainly, I’ll do a blog post on here about which London afternoon tea of choice we treat Megan to.
What’s your favourite place in London to have afternoon tea and why? I’d love to know.
We visited the spectacular Santorini in Greece ten months ago and what a sensational holiday we had.
Never did I expect the views from Fira Town and Oia Village to be so breathtakingly stunning – this place is truly a ‘Gift from the Gods’ and that’s an understatement!
I remember many years ago gasping at the most perfect Santorini photographs in those ‘posh’ travel magazines – dreaming myself there one day….now the dream is a magical memory.
The whole holiday from start to finish was just super WOW and the local people were my five star favourites.
This holiday was a tad on the expensive side, but we were well prepared for that, and in my opinion, the luxury we experienced was worth every penny.
Stunning views from Fira
We stayed in Cavo Bianco, a lovely romantic five star boutique hotel and spa near Kamari Beach and I must say, the staff (⭐ Maria ⭐) and service there was impeccable. On arrival, we were extremely lucky to be upgraded to their best suite and we certainly made the most of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a more tranquil and relaxed vibe – it really was so peaceful and was just what we needed – a delightful getaway from our busy London City lives.
Restaurant View, Kamari Beach
Kamari has a pebble beach – now I do prefer golden sandy beaches but it proved to be special in so many other ways. We did catch the early morning sunrise here and were truly mesmerised by it.
Our holiday adventures took us to the best restaurants, bars, beaches, captivating views…with the highlight of our holiday being a beautiful Catamaran Sunset Cruise, sailing on the ‘Serenity’……a truly unforgetable and sensational experience.
Sunset Cruise on the ‘Serenity’
We made good friends on our holiday and that was down to the whole vibe of the island – cool, carefree and charming.
Would I go back? This one is a no brainer for me….one thousand percent YES!
If you are looking to visit an extra special place with breathtaking views, then Santorini is an absolute must. I look forward to going back.
Take your heart on holiday – you deserve the magic it brings!
Believing before seeing does work and I am living proof of that, but I know it is not easy to practice this.
In order to achieve this, you’ve got to focus on the ‘feeling’ of having achieved that thing you want.
I especially have been more aligned to this set up in the last few weeks and I am starting to notice some miracle outcomes.
I produced a greetings card many years ago, based on this concept. It’s entitled, “Feel Happy”.
Remember, focus on the ‘feeling’ with ease and happiness and let go of any negative thoughts that creep in.
You are here to live your best life and that’s where your focus should be.
My favourite person to learn from on this subject is Esther Hicks – I listen to her teachings daily and it helps to keep my ‘believing’ mindset strong.
There are many paths to greatness that will work for you and it’s important you do what works best for you.
Great things are coming for you and I know that because you are here and we are aligned.
Seek the beauty in each day – it’s all there for you.
This is one of my favourite original quotes and the excerpt is taking from a short poetic story I wrote many years ago. My plan is to turn the story into a book one day….watch this space!
“The midnight sky is vast and black, yet stars appear and light comes back.”
You're the Star,
that shines so bright,
giving me hope,
bringing me light.
You're the Star,
in my heart,
forever inspiring,
igniting each part.
You're the Star,
strong in power,
fading the darkness,
sparkling each hour.
You're the Star,
soulful in time,
guiding to goodness,
simply divine.

Vibrant youth,
bountiful in art,
graceful in nature,
sweet miracle heart.
Oh beautiful flower,
in my soul you do live,
the scent of your life,
forever it gives.
I watch you in awe,
growing so free,
a magical creation,
a wonder to see.
Expect a wonderful happy surprise, feel what that feels like and you know what, I believe that the law of attraction has got to give it to you.
Do what feels good to you and that doesn’t mean that you have to wait until it has actually materialised, feel good now, in this moment and smile. I think a lovely surprise is on it’s way to you and to me…just you wait and see!!
Life is full of wonderful surprises, love to you, Clarabelle.
