There is so much noise and unnecessary interruption out there; no wonder we find it hard to settle our minds at times.
There is peace in many activities and places – you just have to find it.
I have a favourite coffee place here in London and this lovely space brings me peace, focus and clarity.
I look forward to going there everytime; if I walk in with problems, I come out with solutions. Some of my best blog posts have been written from this coffee spot – just like magic the words dance and flow onto the blank page.
Watching a beautiful sunset or walking on golden sandy beaches also gives me tranquility of mind.
It’s definitely the simple things in life that gives us the greatest joy but we’re often so busy we can’t appreciate them.
I urge you today, to find your place of peace and allow the calmness to wash over you.
Being too busy can be overwhelming and draining.
Make peace with your heart, mind and soul – you will thank yourself for it.
When something or someone upsets your equilibrium, it’s important to reset your inner balance as soon as you can.
An off-balance internal system can throw out your whole day and keep you from moving forward.
Try to move on from the situation as quickly as possible or indeed “park it” until you’re ready to deal with it.
I know when my equilibrium is out of balance, I struggle to focus on the ‘job in hand’ and make any valuable progression.
Sometimes, all you need, is a well-deserved “time out” away from the person or situation, in order to give your body and head, space to think or perhaps – not to think!
To sit and dwell in an uncomfortable environment that upsets you even more, is absolutely not what we are trying to do here.
So next time you feel your harmonious field becoming disrupted, do your best to get away from that situation super fast.
You can deal with it, when you’re ready and not before then.
So cherish your beautifully balanced equilibrium and never give anyone or anything the power to knock it out of sync.
Most of us who have suffered the great loss of a precious loved one, may indeed connect to the following poem.
I want you to know that I feel you and I truly understand the deepest hurt losing a loved one can bring.
WHEN YOU LOSE A LIFE
When you lose a life,
you loved so much,
absence of hugs,
missing their touch.
You grieve their heart,
you once embodied before,
many sleepless nights,
craving them more.
An invisible pain,
that never goes away,
so lost without them,
a hate for each day.
No one shares,
the hurt in you,
life feels numb,
purposeless too.
But know their presence,
lives in your soul,
a bond so strong,
making you whole.
Believe they stand,
right by your side,
giving you energy,
watching with pride.
They are your candle,
giving you light,
they are your blanket,
comforting you at night.
They listen to your whispers,
guide your inner thoughts,
solving your problems,
untying the knots.
So remember their smile,
laughter and glow,
bringing you solice,
when you feel low.
Know that their spirit,
embraces your love,
forever your star,
shining from above.

I’m free,
As the air I breathe.
I’m happy,
Like an autumn leaf.
I’m loved,
Like the moon so bright,
I’m peaceful,
In a starry night.
I’m smiling,
As my dreams come true.
I’m here,
Always believing in you.
Are you missing anyone very special this Christmas? I am, I am really missing someone right now and I won’t be with him this Christmas but I will be with him. every Christmas after that.
I try not to feel too sad about it because there isn’t anything I can do to change the situation this Christmas, so I keep my mind focused on all the other beautiful Christmas times we will have together. I also put lots of focus on what I do have to be thankful for in my life right now and there is a lot, a massive amount actually.
When I am having thoughtful “I am grateful” moments, I feel at peace, I feel inner happiness, serenity and very blessed. So if you are missing someone right now and they can’t be with you for whatever reason, think of what you do have in your life, right now and think of the blessing that is also you.
Don’t be a prisoner of your own mind, don’t tighten the straight jacket with unfulfilling whispers. Remember this my friend, hope sets you free. A poem about hope for you:
Hope Sets You Free
Hope is taking a chance,
A last look glance.
A hand held tight,
When nothing seems right.
Eyes with a soul,
Tunnel towards the goal.
A prayer at the start,
A loving heart.
It is the fire,
Lighting the desire.
A candle in rhyme,
Flickering through time.
Let hope be your key,
Hope sets you free.
The Angel of Hope is in your heart, welcome her today with open arms.
Spread a touch of love today, it will really make a difference to your day and to someone else’s day. This could be anything from buying someone a cup of coffee, to making their dinner for them, or baking a cake for your neighbour. A little bit of love goes a long long way and people will always remember how you made them feel and there is no better feeling than feeling loved and cared for.
Wishing you a lovely day wherever you are in the world.
A little bit of motivation goes a long long way. I love anything motivational and inspirational, so much so that I’ve got to get my daily fix. I usually listen to 1-2 hours of motivational stuff when I wake up in the morning and then often listen to more throughout the day when I can. Below is a list of just some of my favourite motivational and inspirational people:

Tony Robbins
Jim Rohn
Wayne Dyer
Abraham Hicks
Will Smith
Oprah Winfrey

Super Focused
This helps me to stay super focused on developing myself in order to achieve my goals and dreams in life. This journey of life can mess with your heart and mind sometimes – if you let it, so I believe it’s always good to have a mechanism or process that works for you to get you “back on track”.
My original music and poetry comes from a peaceful place in my heart and soul and I would definitely say that “hanging around” everyday with the above inspirational people has certainly helped me to achieve that and believe in myself.
So get yourself on to YouTube today and check these guys out because I know if you listen to what they have to say it will inspire you for the rest of your life.
Keep going my friends…..keep going…..keep going….and be grateful for what you have along the way.
Happy Day 20 to you of sharing a Christmas Poem with you every day until Christmas Day. This next poem is from my eBook, “It’s All About Christmas”, I do hope you like it. May you embrace the true beauty of Christmas spirit in your heart today. Love Clarabelle
A beautiful and loving welcome to you, thank you for visiting this Blog and welcome to Day 9 of my daily Christmas poems leading up to Christmas Day.
Christmas Candles
I love candles I think they add a real beauty and ambience to any room, especially at Christmas time. This next poem is about just that, I hope you like it.
The Christmas Candle
A flicker, a glow, pure beauty on show. That’s the Christmas Candle.
At peace, at one, love for everyone. That’s the Christmas Candle.
A glitter, a shine, simply divine. That’s the Christmas Candle.
A warmth, so bright, On this Christmas night, That’s the Christmas Candle.
Today I am going to go on a day trip to Balmaha Bay, Balloch, Scotland with my mum and during that trip I am going to be “snap happy” as I will be taking some beautiful photos for my new eBook that’s coming out, “It’s All About Gratitude”. I am excited about doing this and it will also be really lovely to spend a day with my mum.
I love Balmaha Bay, for me it is a place of deep beauty and peaceful tranquility and sometimes this is just what the doctor ordered. 🙂
In 2011 I wrote a poem about Balmaha, I have already shared it on this blog before, but here it is again, just in case you missed it first time round:
A frozen Balmaha Lake January 2011
Sweet Balmaha Bay
Balmaha, an inspiring place,
Oh how I love, your beautiful face.
The silent lake, speaks many words,
A magical paradise, beneath the flight of birds.
My soul’s at home, when I visit you,
I feel at one, below the sky so blue.
As I tie a yellow ribbon, around the old oak tree,
I appreciate your world, for all to see.
The air is clean, fresh and new,
The shimmering sunlight, makes a stunning view.
And the many boats, who sail in leisure,
Uplifting spirits, you provide great pleasure.
In hail or rain, sunshine or snow,
Your tranquil beauty, will always show.
For the depths of your heart, are in everyone,
Sweet Balmaha Bay under the horizon sun.

Moonlight Sky from Clarabelle’s Back Garden 24.07.13
I worked all through the night yesterday and just before I went to bed at 5.45am for a few hours I looked out of my patio doors which lead into my garden and took this photograph of the stunning moonlight. I had one of my BEST days yesterday, I feel the stunning moonlight gave me some beautiful energy that created moments of magic throughout my day. I am very grateful for all that I have and I am very grateful for you here right now. Thank you, beautiful you, love Clarabelle.
The Stunning Moonlight
It’s 5.45am, I’ve worked all through the night
I look out of my window and see the stunning moonlight
I step into the garden, the birds tweet, tweet, tweet
The air is so tranquil, my heart whispers a beat
I am grateful for this moment, so special and rare
I gaze at the white circle, all day I could stare
I feel its magic, penetrating me
It’s watching me closely, setting me free
I feel its energy, uplifting my soul
It’s connecting with my spirit, engaging my goal
My day has not ended but yet it begins
My bed is calling but my heart it still sings
Goodbye Mr Moonlight, I’ll see you again
I enjoyed our conversation, now I’ll put down my pen poemsbyclarabelle, 25 July 2013
I have a lovely feeling of peace and contentment flowing through my body this morning, I am aware of it and treasure it right now. I just had to write, here is what came out. I hope you enjoy. May your happy spirit touch other hearts today. Love Clarabelle
Peace in her Heart
She woke up, with peace in her heart today
No inner battles, in her way
The fight has gone, war no more
Everything leads, to the fulfilment door
Now it’s different, now she can see
That an opened heart, will let this be
She knows that her gift, travels afar
She knows that her energy, raises the bar
And as the soft wind blows, contentment plays a tune
Happiness in the air, goodnight Mr Moon
This misty morning, is full of white
She feels its presence, she is the light
Her breath is silent, and simply pure
Because she is so certain, she is so sure
That all her dreams, are alive inside
The vision is here, nothing to hide
For her soul is connected, dancing free
Her spirit is full, of happy energy
But who is, this miracle she?
She can be “he” and she is “me”

The Path of Peace
(Inspired by the World Peace Pathway
at the Hague, Netherlands)
***
The Path of Peace – it is a Key
A key for human kind
The Path of Peace at its centre
Has a Flame that burns Eternally
***
The Path of Peace – it is a Key
A key that man must choose –
To turn and open up each heart
And touch Eternity
***
This Planet that we’re given
The Blessings from above.
We are showered with God’s creation
We are bathed in God’s Love
***
But sometimes – when the shadows come – we simply turn away
And – turning to the darkness – we forget the Light of Day
But even in the darkness – somewhere the Sun still shines
No matter which part of night or day – the Sun will always shine
***
The Path has at its centre a Flame lit from the Sun
Just as in our heart our own Flame burns
Let us each unite – each and every one –
Uniting all humanity underneath God’s Sun
***
Let’s circle this beautiful Earth – where so many of creation’s gifts are given birth
Let’s circle it with Friendship
Let’s circle it with Love
Let’s circle it with Hope
Let’s circle it on the wings of the Dove
Let Peace encircle your Heart –
Then spread it out to every one
Let Peace encircle your Heart –
Let it be in every Home
Let Peace be in your Heart –
And in every Community
***
Let Peace be in every Nation
Let Peace be Now and in Eternity
Let Peace shine from your eyes
As they look up to the Stars
Let Peace Shine with Light
As the stars look on from afar
***
Just simply feel into your Heart
Into your “God Part” and into the Light
Then when you open up your eyes
You’ll brighten someone’s night
***
Then – if you smile – you will radiate the sun
Giving it to the happy souls and to the lonely one
For as long as anyone is lonely
As long as anyone is sad
As long as anyone hungers
For the touch of a loving hand
How can any of us rest and be at Peace with our fellow man
***
Reach out to every child – every nation – every creed
For the hunger in each soul merely reflects our own need
Touch your heart – touch your Light
Ignite the Passion – ignite the Flame
Ignite the Peace – Ignite Creation
Reach out to the World
***
In the centre of our beautiful Earth
Is a burning ball of Fire
Emblazoning its light and love –
Through the Earth it does aspire
***
Let your love and your light – that burns within
Let it Shine out through your Being
Let it Light the Way for you
And all others then will see in you
The Light that is in them too
Reflecting back the Lightest part of them
As they see the Light in you
***
Oh my Friends – reach out your hand
Touch another close to you
Reach out with your heart
Be open – judge not as others do –
But simply do and simply be
What it is YOU are
***
YOU are Unique
You are your own Bright and Shining Star!
So twinkle in the night my friends
Be dazzling in the Sun
And know that Peace to Man
Will most certainly and surely Come!

Elspeth would welcome hearing from you and if you wish to get in touch with her, below is how you can do that:
Pure sunlight, it is beautiful, truthful and spiritual for me. I remember when I wrote the poem below and how I felt writing it at the time, I felt at peace and at one with myself, it was very early in the morning and I knew I was connected to the power of the universe. Let the silence between each line, awaken your soul and connect your spirit to a higher purpose. Your sun shines from within, let it radiate beauty and inspire other hearts around you today. Much love to you, Clarabelle.
It’s almost 4am, I haven’t slept yet, I hear the birds chirping outside, they sound very happy indeed….I have this urge to write, not sure what will come out of my soul at these early hours of the morning but here goes……my heart speaks to you. Much love and light to you today, Clarabelle.
Now….what is now?
Now…what is now?
Now….what is now? I smile;
Peace, love, openness, for a while.
Moved by hearts, touched with care;
Self-expression, take me there.
And if I go, if my time has come;
I know my journey has helped someone.
They write to me, tell me it all;
The footprints of my friends, walking tall.
For in this moment now, I’m alive inside;
Filled with hope, beaming with pride.
You’re never alone, in this physical space;
I hear your cry, I see your face.
The wonders of the world, mesmerize me;
My mind has stopped thinking, the heart is the key.
So hold onto your hat, as the wind blows your way;
Challenges are a plenty, but tomorrow is not today.
Yesterday I had this inner calling to go close to the water, so I did. When I got there, I instantly felt at peace, surrounded by nature which was indeed nurturing my soul. I then got my notepad out and I wrote the following poem. Today, listen to your calling, inner silence is when it’s at its loudest. Clarabelle
The Water’s Edge
The water’s edge, sets my soul free,
Nature’s hands, are holding me.
Open space, silence in the lake,
This is real here, nothing seems fake.
A treasure island, where tranquility prevails,
A rower in the distance, sets his own sails.
***
The rain may be falling, but it is a beautiful sight,
Soft cloudy skies, birds beneath, in full flight.
The ripples on the water, come out to where I stand,
I take a deep breath in, and reach out my hand.
I feel no coldness, for love shares this place,
Its beauty is inside me, and puts a smile upon my face.

‘Me’ Time in the Moment
Just ten minutes away, to think and ponder
Will capture your soul, in a quiet wonder
This special time, is only for you
‘Me’ time in the moment, I hope you do
Create some space, to re-energise the mind
To master this art, is to discover and find
A beautiful you, admired from within
Peace perfect peace, ‘me’ time is a win

Hello there and thank you for joining me today. This next poem is inspired by how I am feeling right now, it was written this morning, in between meetings and at the height of my happiness and enthusiasm. I am grateful for the beauty in this day, I wish you a wonderful day full of peace and joy.
Life is Bliss
Life is good
I feel it in my mood
Happiness shines
Sweet beautiful chimes
Apples on the trees
Fresh fruits that please
Lighthearted chatter
My life it does matter
A positive vibe, radiates from me
Like a paradise island, that floats on the sea
The jigsaw puzzle, is now complete
The last piece fits, so perfect and neat
It’s a wonderful world, when I’m feeling like this
Love is all around, life is bliss
