A journey of hope, inspiration and magical wisdom.
A journey, that starts with your heart and leads you to that place of knowing.
It’s not necessarily the physical step – that one foot in front of the other. It’s the imaginery leap your mind takes when it envisions your dream life, your dream being….your ultimate dream.
You see, it’s not just a dream – is it?
It’s the BEST part of YOU manifesting your purest beauty into what we know as “reality”.
When I created my “Card Candy” logo, I wanted it to reflect me, my bubbly personality and energetic radiance. I made it so bright, cheerful, colourful, vibrant and memorable.
Your own journey must reflect the miracle that is you. You are perfect, just the way you are.
I feel your heart with me, as we dream together, taking bold steps into the unknown.
There is no 5 year plan, no logical explanation, just the captivation of what it is.
I am ME and you are YOU and we magically collide like shooting stars.
The midnight sky creates all the space we need for our starry lights to dance around together.
Look up to the sky tonight and you will see it. An explosion of happiness, joy and uniqueness – that’s you.
There is no need to rush the creation of your dream life, because it exists in you already…waiting to be unleashed.
Synchronicities and coincidences are maybe what “real world” likes to call them, but deep down, you know exactly what’s happening. Our energies are joining hands with the Universe and you become so powerfully magnetic to everything wonderful on that frequency.
You are here, right now with me, creating beyond miracles.
Oh mighty are thee with pillars robust roots deep forever vision a must ~ Cast no shadow on sundrenched dreams travelling light as happiness beams ~ For what once was worries no more visceral thoughts open every door ~ No hurricane winds can fight your fire of inner love and destiny's desire
Have faith, strong,strong faith that your dreams are here, feel them in your heart right now and rejoice in your festival of faith. A poetic verse for you today:
A Festival of Faith
A festival of faith,
Lives in me.
In gives me hope,
So I can be.
Everything I want,
And even some more.
Believing in the “yes”,
And an opened door.
It encourages my soul,
Breathing life into me,
An explosion of knowing,
That no eyes can see.
A feeling from within,
A heart with a spark,
Igniting my spirit,
Shining light in the dark.
Don’t be a prisoner of your own mind, don’t tighten the straight jacket with unfulfilling whispers. Remember this my friend, hope sets you free. A poem about hope for you:
Hope Sets You Free
Hope is taking a chance,
A last look glance.
A hand held tight,
When nothing seems right.
Eyes with a soul,
Tunnel towards the goal.
A prayer at the start,
A loving heart.
It is the fire,
Lighting the desire.
A candle in rhyme,
Flickering through time.
Let hope be your key,
Hope sets you free.
The Angel of Hope is in your heart, welcome her today with open arms.
And somewhere along the journey, somewhere in the deepest part of her heart, she realised, that all she ever needed was to be love, do love and have love.
So here is this month’s question for you to ponder and reflect upon,
What makes you feel good?
Well, for me there are lots of things that make me feel good but the one thing that sticks out in my mind right now is writing. The funny thing is I never really liked English at school but I did love Mathematics. It’s really strange how things have turned around because now I love writing and reading and I am not a fan of the number crunching anymore.
This blog has really helped me to connect with my thoughts, my feeling, my emotions and my inner creativity – I feel at peace when I write, it is so soothing and calming for me and it works as a dual purpose because I write to inspire you too.
So I do really hope that you are enjoying reading the articles on this blog – they come from a peaceful mind, a happy heart and an inspired soul.
Just show me love,
And I’ll show you the way.
An unknown path,
But I’m here to stay.
A new world awaits,
Hope is where I live,
Fond sweet memories,
True kindness I give.
Share your heart,
Let me see it all,
Building a new life,
Where stars do fall.
And the sun shines on,
Like never before,
Take my hand,
Let’s go through the door.
I see the rainbow,
Its colours so bright,
Together forever,
You’ve shown me the light.
Some things are just meant to be and when all seems lost and the door seems locked, in walks love…..forever love. May you find beauty, love and peace in the following verse.
Hearts Will Dance
And through the pain,
She awaits his heart.
Missing his love,
When he did depart.
She hears his voice,
Whisper in her soul.
She feels his spirit,
Making her whole.
In all this time,
In all the tears.
Words, “I love you”,
Unspoken for years.
It’s not too late,
Now there’s a chance.
To be together,
Both hearts will dance.
As she closes her eyes,
With a peaceful mind.
She knows he is waiting,
True love they did find.
Three of the most powerful words that touch your soul like no other, that make your heart smile inside, that help you to believe that anything is possible and that give you hope for the future and peace in the now. What are these words?….these words can only be:
“I Love You”
Say it out loud, right now, feel how those words feel, those are three of the most impactful words you will ever say to someone. Those three little words can turn EVERYTHING around for the better. “I Love You” said with true meaning and heart can raise a shattered soul from the gutter and uplift it so much that it will be dancing with the birds around the sun.
When was the last time you told someone you loved them? I know you know they know it, but when did you actually look them in the eyes, hold their hands and say to them “I Love you”?
Do it today, do it for yourself and do it for them……make today an “I Love You” day. I KNOW it will make you and the other person feel so good.
And…….to you, YOU, who faithfully drops by every day on this Clarabelle Blog, “I Love you”…for being here…I LOVE YOU.
Wishing you a loving day, wherever you are in the world.
I have had the experience recently of being very surprised with some of my life situations. Fairly recently, I put my life in a suitcase and moved to another country, to what I thought was going to be the best job ever, I thought the job was going to give me everything I ever wanted. I was so positive about it, so excited, so “up for the challenge”…..,.basically, I was super ready for this!! Then when I get there, it turns out to not be what I expected, but hey that’s okay, I accepted that and moved on!! You see I know what is important to me in life and I know what I need from a job that will make every day a joy for me to be there – that way the company get the best out of me in every way possible.
So what happened next? Where do you go from here?
I tell you what I did. I didn’t moan about the situation, I was truthful with everyone around me – especially myself, and focused on the solution to the problem…..NOT the problem. You see there is a BIG difference, a HUGE difference. I know that you get what you focus on, please let me repeat that, YOU GET WHAT YOU FOCUS ON 🙂 So I knew that I had to focus on the solution, I did, and within 2 weeks, I was LIVING the solution, albeit a temporary solution, but still a SOLUTION. Yippee, yippee, yippee, this is a prime example of a positive outcome from focusing on the solution.
This temporary solution has actually worked out much better than I expected, a billion percent better……and it’s now got me thinking, that the place I am at now, this “temporary” place, was actually a permanent piece of the jigsaw puzzle.
I am currently working on a more permanent solution to my career, but that needs more reflection and more time to get me to the next destination. I now have absolute full clarity on what I need going forward, the misty fog has cleared and there are very beautiful and very bright days ahead.
Please remember, FOCUS ON THE SOLUTION, not the problem and LIVE THE SOLUTION, even if it is temporary, you just never know where it may lead you.
Thank you for being here and thank you for commenting.
I am in a poetic mood this morning, this one is for you, take it all in and just “Breathe”.
Breathe
Breathe in life,
energy from the sun.
Breathe in hope,
memories have begun.
Breathe in faith,
beauty of your heart.
Breathe in love,
the last jigsaw part.
Breathe in you,
Breathe in me.
Breathe in together.
Breathe in we.
I got this beautiful “Wish Upon A Penny” Clarabelle necklace created (handmade) for me as a special momentum of the poetry work that I do. I have noticed that the search engines recently have been picking up on my poem “Wish Upon A Penny” and I am so very grateful to all the blog visitors reading and liking this poem. I thought this lovely little bespoke penny necklace beautifully represents the “Wish Upon A Penny” poem so well and especially the words “In God We Trust” because I have complete faith in everything I do and go for in life – please see poem below, I hope you like it – oh, and don’t forget to make a wish!! Love to you, Clarabelle.
Wish Upon a Penny
I listen in the silence, sweet birdies do sing,
Should I turn on the TV and drown out their din?
I will ignore their calling, just for a while,
I’ve a busy mind, chores they do pile.
The sun it may shine, but my heads in a cloud,
A storm is brewing, amongst this crowd.
I’m strangled in frustration, fighting the war,
No one sees me and my internal decor.
To just get by, another day,
Gives me hope, paves the way.
Then Lightning strikes, STOP, look at your life,
Look at your reactions, creating this strife.
Sing another song, dance to another tune,
Darkness will fade, here comes the moon.
See the beauty, in each moment now,
Look in the mirror, don’t ask how.
Be grateful for your riches, you have many,
Create a new you, wish upon a penny.
Having self belief in your own capabilities and potential is such an important ingredient to moving forward and achieving your dreams and goals in life. When you believe in yourself, you create such a positive energy around you that is contagious and others also believe in what you see for yourself. This next poem is inspired by just that, keep going my friend and stay stronger than ever, because indeed, I believe you will get there. Love Clarabelle.
You’ve Got to Believe
You’ve got to believe, in all of you. Your talents are amazing, you’re a dream come true. Believe and have faith, you will reach that star. It’s waiting for you, shining down from afar. Your energy will shift, when your vision is strong. You’ve got to believe, this is where you belong.
Expect the unexpected in life, it can shoot you down and leave you in the gutter of despair. I want to tell you something, because I’ve been there and there is always hope, there is always faith and I want you to believe that if you’re feeling like that right now, hold onto the truth of your heart. Work on improving the most important relationship in your life first and that is the relationship with yourself – be your own best friend. I like to pray when I’m feeling like this, so I made up this prayer to share with you in the hope that it may help you during tough times. Prayer truly works for me, I believe and know this and I hope that it works for you too. Lots of love to you today and always, Clarabelle.
Prayer of Courage of Strength
Dear God,
I say this prayer, from the bottom of my heart. And I ask you to help me to stay strong in this time of need. Please help me to overcome these difficult challenges, And become a better person from the lessons therein. Help me to build a loving and empowering relationship with myself, So that I can turn my life around for the better. Give me the courage and strength to forgive and to be forgiven. Let me see the open door in the darkest night Let my heart grow with true love, faith and hope. And may my inner light shine and guide me to all good. I pray that I raise my self belief in my own capabilities and potential. And may this lead me into a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. Thank you for answering my prayer.
Below is a photograph of one of my most favourite places to visit. This is “The Shrine” at the Schoenstatt Retreat and Pilgrimage Centre in Lennoxtown, Scotland (http://www.schoenstatt.co.uk/). It is less than one hour’s drive from my hometown of Motherwell and I really do feel so blessed to be alive when I visit this stunning place, the setting is so beautiful and tranquil.
“The Shrine”
When I visit, I always make a point of going into “The Shrine” where I light some candles and say some prayers. They also have, what I call, a prayer box, where you write down what you hope and pray for on a piece of paper, also sharing what you will do in return for your prayers being answered and then you place your folded up note in a large urn at the altar of The Shrine. I always connect what is in my heart and soul to the lighting of my candles and the completion of the notes. This is such a beautiful and spiritual process for me, I love it so much.
Inner Peace
I do hope that you get the opportunity one day to visit this beautiful place, hidden amongst the tranquility of nature, where you will leave with the most calming sense of inner peace living and breathing inside of you.

Sometimes you just need to say to yourself, “It’s all going to be okay” and it WILL be. This next short poem is just about that, for YOU. I wish for you today a fabulous day, much better that okay, love Clarabelle.
Okay
I know it will be okay
I know because I think that way
I know and believe today
And this is what I’ll say “It’s all going to be okay”
Stand in front of the mirror today and tell yourself a more positive story. Look at the beauty in your eyes, feel the love in your heart and the faith in your soul. See how very special you are, you are unique and you have the greatest potential to be whatever you want to be. This next poem is for you because it’s all about telling yourself a different story……let this be your true love story to yourself. Love Clarabelle.
I Am Sorry
I am sorry, for the hurt and the pain
Sorry for, the sleepless night again
Sorry for, the tears that fall
Sorry when, I missed the call
Sorry for, the past so bleak
Sorry for, being so weak
Sorry for, the yes and no
Sorry that, I didn’t show
I look in the mirror, there I see
I am talking out loud, only to me What if I change these words I say? What if I think in a different way?
I am happy, because I have a lot
I am grateful, for all I’ve got
I am beautiful, inside and out
I am kind, I have no doubt
I am strong and believe in me
I am everything, I want to be
I’m changing my story, look at my face
I’m smiling with confidence, in this place
I see the light, my goals appear
Visions of hope and faith are here
Words have power, choose them well
Start your day, in heaven not hell
Shower yourself, with positive thoughts
Banish the worries, untangle the knots
Wake up, to a brand new you
Shine in this moment and all you do
Here is a wee poem I wrote last week, STOP that inner critic, pick up a penny, hold it close to your heart, make a wish and pass the penny on……..now believe that your wish will come true, MAKE your wish come true. Wishing you wonderful moments of fulfilled wishes. Love Clarabelle

I have a lovely feeling of peace and contentment flowing through my body this morning, I am aware of it and treasure it right now. I just had to write, here is what came out. I hope you enjoy. May your happy spirit touch other hearts today. Love Clarabelle
Peace in her Heart
She woke up, with peace in her heart today
No inner battles, in her way
The fight has gone, war no more
Everything leads, to the fulfilment door
Now it’s different, now she can see
That an opened heart, will let this be
She knows that her gift, travels afar
She knows that her energy, raises the bar
And as the soft wind blows, contentment plays a tune
Happiness in the air, goodnight Mr Moon
This misty morning, is full of white
She feels its presence, she is the light
Her breath is silent, and simply pure
Because she is so certain, she is so sure
That all her dreams, are alive inside
The vision is here, nothing to hide
For her soul is connected, dancing free
Her spirit is full, of happy energy
But who is, this miracle she?
She can be “he” and she is “me”
“Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.” George S. Patton, U.S. Army General, 1912 Olympian
Loch Ness Marathon
I signed up for my third marathon a few weeks ago and I started my training this week. I am doing the Loch Ness Marathon, Inverness, Scotland, UK on Sunday, 29 September 2013. I previously completed the New York Marathon in 2007 and the London Marathon in 2010, both I found very challenging but also remarkably rewarding and fulfilling in terms of committing to a specific goal and achieving it. When I completed my first marathon it really did give me the belief that “anything IS possible”if you put your mind to it and do what you need to do everyday to get there. I am excited about doing the Loch Ness Marathon this year because I feel I am experienced enough now to totally relax and enjoy the whole experience, I know it will still be physically and mentally challenging but I am prepared for that. After I complete this third marathon I am going to give each of my marathon medals to my nephew Sean (9 years), niece Megan (6 years) and niece Carmen (1.5 years) – I want them to receive these medals in the hope that it will inspire them to believe in themselves and go out and achieve anything they want in their lives, so I really do need to get that third marathon medal!!
Reflecting
I have been reflecting a lot recently (well actually, I reflect all the time, so nothing new there really 🙂 ) I have been thinking about what really works for me in terms of achieving my own goals and below is a list of what works for me:
Firstly, I need to want to do something, I have to see the real benefit and purpose in doing it or I will not fully commit. My goal has to be meaningful to me and be in alignment with my core values. It also has to be my goal and definitely NOT someone else’s goal unless I am in fully alignment with their idea/goal.
Once I have decided that I want to do something, I then make a full commitment to doing it, without a real commitment there will be no real follow-through to the end, so I know I need to fully commit. Commitment to me is doing whatever it takes to get there, not in a unselfish or mean way, in a “I can do this” way.
Next I need to do some research into what I need to do to ‘make it happen’, I research into who has done it before, what the experts say, what do I need to know that will help me on my way.
Then I need to make a plan of action to ensure I commit to what needs to be done, this plan of action is a structural stepping stone for me, I have realised that if I have an easy and simple daily structure to follow I will do that – simple, visual diagrams and charts work best for me. I put the new learning into practice and tick off my daily achievements along the way – for me this definitely works!!
I also ensure I measure my progress along the way, What were things like at the start?, Where am I now in terms of progress? and How close am I getting to my desired goal?
I also like to celebrate my mini successes along the way, this is the fun part and I am also very mindful of “enjoying the journey” and having gratitudefor what I am progressing towards and achieving in my life.
Another important aspect of me achieving my goals is, in some way to inspire others to work towards and achieve their goals, “if I can do it, then YOU can do it“, that really is an important one for me.
Throughout the whole process I know I have to stay super focused to get to the end goal, I constantly visualise succeeding and celebrating my achievement. I am a highly visionary person, so I find this one quite easy, I imagine and picture in tiny details me achieving my goal, what I am wearing, who I am speaking to, how it feels, I visualise every specific detail of the end result. I 100% know this is one of the most important steps in helping me get there – it keeps the dream/goal alive inside of me, and gives me that “never give up” attitude.
I am a confident and determined individual and I know that from my past experiences anything I have put my mind to achieving I always have, I know I am a “High Say” “High Do”person and I set high standards for myself.
The above are just some things that I do towards achieving my goals, for you it may be slightly different or a lot different and I would love to hear, What works for you?
Whatever you do today, may it take you closer to your dreams and goals in life, YOU have the ability to achieve whatever YOU want to achieve, BELIEVE that, SEE that, YOU are the creator of your own reality…..GO NOW MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR YOU!!
Much love to you today, as always and thank you for reading this post, Clarabelle.
This is a blog post from an old blog of mine, I wrote this post in April 2010, 2 years prior to me starting this poetry blog. I thought I would share this with you because it is amazing how life evolves as we grow and develop. If someone had told me back then that I would now have a poetry blog and was so commited and passionate about it, I would never have believed them…..my creative writing desires are stronger than ever. We are all on a journey of personal evolution, much of this will be invisible for you right now, who knows what great things you will be part of in a few years from now. Much love to you today. Clarabelle
Personal Evolution
Below is that original post from April 2010:
I absolutely LOVE my job but it wasn’t an easy job getting here—it took me 36 years of learning, being, doing, hoping, having, not having, feeling and experiencing the highs and lows of real life and work. It is only now that I feel wise enough and knowledgeable enough to share this experiential learning.
When I Grow UP I want to be…..
From the age of 5—15 years I went through different phases of wanting to be a Mum, Air Steward, Dancer, Model, Nun, Song Writer (I had a real desire to write the winning Eurovision song – still do!!), Primary School Teacher, Nursery Nurse and a Secretary. So where did my early career ideas come from, maybe………
Mum: Watching my mum lovingly support and care for our family; wanting to be just like my mum and also being the proud owner of various dolls such as (in its day) the famous ’Tiny Tears’.
Air Steward: Wanting a ‘glamorous’ lifestyle (perceived) and the opportunity to travel all over the world, maybe even marry a pilot!! I also think the popular TV advert for Caledonian Airlines had a big influence….I remember wanting to be a ‘Caledonian Girl’.
Dancer: I was a massive fan of the hit TV Programme ’Fame’ and loved dancing from an early age – still do 🙂
Model: Watching Miss World on TV and aspiring to be like one of these beautiful woman. I wanted to wear that crown!!!
Nun: There was a real religious influence here from my childhood days, in particular at Primary School and I went through a really ’holy’ stage—that was until I discovered my like for boys!!
Songwriter: I used to lock myself in my bedroom for hours and make up songs, I would practice and practice them all day long and never got bored of it—this was a perfect escapism for me at such a young age. To this very day I still remember the songs and so do my closet friends. We often burst into these songs after a few wines!!
Primary School Teacher: I used to babysit for my next door neighbour when I was in my early teens—I loved watching their 3 kids, probably because I could be a ‘big kid’ myself. This inspired me to want to teach young children to learn and develop—I then found out that I would need to study for a further 5 years after Secondary School and this sadly (at the time) put me off.
Nursery Nurse: Again my love for children and helping them to learn and have fun. My Guidance Teacher at Secondary School totally put me off the idea “that’s not the career for you he said, that’s not a good job”. How easily influenced I was as a teenager.
Secretary: Well I figured I would go with the safe bet and be a secretary, after all I was good at typing, passed all my Secretarial Studies exams with flying colours and oh yes my mum did that when she left school and she told me fabulous stories about her career in this field. That was it at the age of 15 I aspired to be a secretary. Well there was nothing else, was there……???
My Career Path
So I finally had come to the idea that I would be a Secretary. So I went to typing College to learn how to touch-type—this proved to be a very worthwhile skill to have during all my future jobs. What where they? Well, my career experience consists of:
Shop assistant, sales representative, hotel waitress, 20 years of various office type jobs from receptionist through to human resource management. A couple of these jobs which I liked and some others I have quite closely hated.
An Independent Decision
Then at the age of 34 I decided to think very carefully about my future career and where it was heading. Why then? Well lots of reasons I believe, but I think coming out of some personal turmoil combined with some major achievements made me a much stronger person with a really determined ‘can do’ attitude.
This included personal triumphs and goals such as Graduating from University in 2005 in Personnel Practice, running the New York marathon in 2007 (I then later did the London Marathon in 2010) and Graduating again from University in 2008 in Human Resource Management. It was in 2006/7 when I seriously reflected on my future and felt much more equipped to correctly answer the following question…….
So what do I really want to do when I grow up?
To answer this, I identified my core values and what they meant to me, I looked at what job activities I particularly enjoyed doing, I thought about what are my strengths, what was I truly passionate about doing, what excites me in life, where did I want to see myself 5-20 years from now and the ultimate question: How was I going to get there?
I had a real belief and confidence in myself and I knew I wanted to have the freedom to explore new territories, learn new things and meet new people. I knew that I wanted to help other people achieve their dreams, goals and aspirations in life. I wanted to coach and mentor people to do just that, I got excited about the thought of it and felt strongly passionate about it. I was truly ready for this and felt fully motivated and inspired to do so.
What did I do?
I researched into Coaching, I wrote to no less then 200 practicing coaches in America asking for their advice, I then went to New York and met some of those coaches, left my full-time job as Human Resource Manager, studied for a further year and achieved a Diploma in Coaching at Distinction level (94%), started up my own business at the end of 2008 and that’s where I am at the moment. I have BIG plans for the business and I know that I will only achieve this through hard work and commitment. To be honest, at times it feels like starting all over again—to what it was like over 20 years ago.
What have been the best parts of my job so far?
Most definitely supporting and empowering other people to achieve their dreams, goals and aspirations in life. Almost 90% of my work to date has been career/business/leadership goals related and with my Human Resource Management background and sound coaching and mentoring experience—it works very well and benefits my clients greatly.
Also being my own boss and having the freedom to use my creativity and innovation to lead the business into great things that will inspire others to achieve great things for themselves.
Personal Learning
I have learned so much over the last 17 months of my business (to date almost 5 years!!) and I feel very proud to say that I have video blogged my real time journey all along the way. My vision is that one day it will be professionally edited and shared with you at home in the format of a short film/documentary.
But………what about being a Songwriter?
Hey, I can still do that, my career ain’t over yet, it is just at the beginning—the true beginning.

On 29 March 2013 – Clarabelle says:
I have now had my business for almost 5 years and I still continue to love it…….I am also planning another business which is indirectly linked. I must say however that nothing at the moment, beats the feeling of writing for this blog and getting messages from other bloggers and readers out there……you are magnificent in every sense of the word and my heart and soul is touched everyday with your responses. I see my future in this blog and I do hope you join me on the journey.
Thank you for reading this post today, lots of love Clarabelle.
Every moment is a moment to change for the better, that is what this inspirational quote by me is about. Don’t wait for opportunities to knock on you door, go out create opportunities for yourself, make it happen, just do it!! You owe it to yourself to step outside of your comfort zone and move into your stretch zone, go on do it now because opportunity is indeed NOW!! Lots of love to you, Clarabelle
This is a post I wrote for another business blog in 2011, I came across it today and thought I would share it with you, there may be some value in it for you and please feel free to share away. I wish you a day filled with opportunities for the taking, it’s your life, go get it!! Clarabelle.
Change is Opportunity Now
An Exciting Challenge
I was on the phone to my business partner Debbie and we were talking about ‘change’, for me ‘change is opportunity’. Why do I say this? Well as much as some of us might dread the thought of change, I absolutely love it and find it an exciting challenge. I don’t want to sit in my ‘comfort zone’ all my life, it is important for me to get out there, embrace new challenges and live life. If I fail, well I feel I have only learned some great lessons that will strengthen me as a person.
I was sent this wonderful quote last night by my friend Stephen, “if we never fail at anything we are not being adventurous enough” by Peter Huntley, MD of Go North East buses, what a truly wonderful quote that is. I would rather try and fail 1000 times than not try at all. Determination, persistence, passion, consistency, self-discipline and never giving up is the qualities that I feel will get me everywhere. We all know the famous saying ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ so I would also throw in some ‘love and patience’ to this amazing mix of ingredients.
What I would say however is that to make change happen you need to know exactly your answers to the following questions:
Where you are going?
What do you specifically want to achieve?
What is your life’s purpose?
What do you need to be, do and have to get there?
What activities can you take action on NOW that will have the greatest impact on moving you forward towards your change goal?
Change is a choice and once you make that full commitment to change anything in your life you must take ‘MASSIVE ACTION’ to initiate the process. When you start taking meaningful action towards your change goal you will get more and more motivated by the results you start to see – the fruits of your labour.
To change effectively and for the long term you must start at the core, with the root “the roots determine the fruits”. That means change the way you think, which will change the way you feel and ultimately this will change your behaviours and it is in what you do that will help you get real results.
So make that decision today, challenge yourself, be open, flexible and adaptable to change, welcome it with open arms and express who you really are because the only constant in life is change and if you stand still, I believe you are actually going backwards, as others make changes to drive ahead they will most definitely overtake you – so don’t be left for dust, change is opportunity NOW!!
“Dreams build momentum as faith grows inside. Believe in yourself, believe it, have pride.” (Clarabelle)
When the time feels right and you’ve held onto your dreams for long enough, you will know when it is time to let go, to free your soul and release your dreams to the world. The heart will speak, the universe will give you signs, then you will know, you will just feel it and know. Dream it, Do it. Go forth in the direction of your dreams. Love Clarabelle.
Whispers in her Soul
Whispers in her Soul
She wakes up every day, with a song in her heart;
Her Vision is so strong, sweet music – the missing part.
Like a jigsaw puzzle, being pieced together;
Her motivation is high, no matter the weather.
For in the purpose of her heart, there lies the key;
A bright flame is burning, mesmerizing she.
She knows her faith, is stronger than ever;
She believes in herself, deeper than the river.
She swims against the current, going her own way;
Touching hearts, each and every day.
Her music is silent, it whispers in her soul;
One day she will empty it, making her whole.
The dream is building, time is nearly here;
Nothing is in her way, not even one fear.
Embrace yourself world, get ready to listen;
For when her sound is heard, the universe will glisten.
I am thinking about my happy childhood today, so I decide to take a snapshot memory from one of these true moments and share it with you today. Release the child inside of you, just for a moment, just for today, be that child once more, it feels so loving and carefree. Lots of love, Clarabelle.
My Soul is Free
I am 8 years old, I am playing in the swing park and look up to the pretty red sky on a sweet summers night. I see a million lights sparkling in the distance, like the most precious jewels I have ever seen, they mesmerize me. It feels like I am in a hypnotic state, my heart feels happy, my soul is free, I dream, I visualise my future….
“I’ll be there one day”, I say;
Where?….
Here, right now, I can be there any moment of any day, for my childlike imagination, can take me there. Whenever I want to go there and without physical travel, I can instantly be there.
Where is there?
There is “Happiness” my friend, Happiness is my home and my heart has always lived there.
I had the most amazing childhood, it was full of fun, adventure and magical spirit. I was surrounded by an abundance of friends, love and laughter….I hold these special memories very close to my heart, they are locked in my soul forever…..we will never be apart!! This next poem is inspired by my childhood dreams and those treasured times of the past that have shaped who I am today. If I ever feel I have travelled afar from who I really am, I think of those rainbow days and those long summer sunsets, where I danced in the wind, laughed in the rain and played with love in my heart, every moment of every day. I wish you a day filled with a childlike free spirit that makes you feel so very happy inside. I am smiling now, I do hope you are. Love, Clarabelle
Rainbow Days
Rainbow Days
Sweet sweet child in me, playful and full of fun;
Dancing in the rain, laughing under the sun.
Happy was my heart, true friends were all around;
My soul skipped to the music, love in me profound.
Fresh air on my face, the clouds so magical too;
Hopping in an out of puddles, this is what I do.
I wake up with a song, playing in my heart;
Singing to this tune, I repeat this special part.
Smiles, hugs and warmth, fill my rainbow days;
Light shines from within me, reflecting spectrum rays.
Listen to you heart by silencing your mind….this next inspirational quote is for YOU. May the whispers of your heart, sing to you today. Love, Clarabelle.
When someone close to us dies, often prayer can help us to see through each day until we become strong again and are ready to face the world. I wrote this prayer after hearing about the loss of a friend’s loved one, I hope its sentiment brings strength to anyone who is going through this deep sadness at this time in their life. Love to you Clarabelle.
prayer for the loss of a loved one
Prayer for the Loss of a Loved One
Dear God,
I pray that my loved one, is now held gently in your loving arms.
May their soul now be free and abundant with love and light.
Let their happy loving spirit, shine and guide us here on earth.
I pray that my close family and friends, remain strong for each other.
May we continue to be blessed with your loving presence, every moment of every day.
Challenges are a blessing, they make us stronger from within, although at the time it doesn’t really feel that way. Courage will always find you, please have faith and know in your heart of hearts that set backs make us dig deeper and a new opportunity awaits for you. May you create the right opportunity for you in your life today. Much love to you Clarabelle.
courage will always find you
Courage Will Always Find You
Have patience my dear, for all is well;
I see it for your future, I hear its jingle bell.
For just around the corner, is a beautiful light;
Waiting for the darkness, so it can shine on you so bright.
Challenges are a blessing, they make us who we are;
Welcome them with open arms, jump upon the star.
Courage will always find you, be brave and carry on;
Just because you cannot see it, doesn’t mean all hope has gone.
Trust in your heart, have faith in all that’s here;
This path that you are on, is quite simply crystal clear.
This encouraging little message, is especially for you;
It brings peace and loving thoughts, to make you stronger through and through.
Sometimes when I’m writing, random thoughts and words come to mind and I just jot down what flows from me at that time. Sometimes it doesn’t really make sense to me at that moment but then afterwards I feel the message that is coming through. This next poem is created from that, full of random words with meaningful impact. I wish for you a day filled with meaningful actions towards your purpose. Lots of love Clarabelle.
Faith for me is knowing that the unknown is going to be okay. It is knowing that what you believed as a child would come true for you, will come true for you. Never giving up on a childlike faith, is such a beautiful thing. It is such a deep knowing and offers the deepest connection to your soul. I have managed to recapture that childlike faith and it brings much love and peace to my heart. May your heart be filled with patience and understanding that all is going to be okay for you. Much love to you Clarabelle.
I awakened very early yesterday morning, just before 5am and I seemed to be in creative thinking mode. I grabbed a pen and piece of paper and wrote 3 poems, one after the other, I love it when that happens. Here is the first one, inspired from being in the magic of ‘creative flow’. Wishing you a wonderful day, enjoy being present in every moment of it. Lots of love Clarabelle.
Waiting for the Sun
Waiting for the sun to come up,
Darkness fades, as I fill my cup.
I contemplate, the day ahead,
Dreams, hope, love, fulfills my head.
Tick tock, tick tock – my morning call,
Balanced beauty in this moment, no rise or fall.
Presence is here, spirit is drive,
Passion awakes me, energy I thrive.
The air is tranquil, my mind is free,
Watch out world, I’m coming to get thee.

When I see stunning photographs or paintings of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, it takes my imagination to different heights. A feeling of magic, mystique, romance, energy, vibrancy, connection and love all rolled into one, comes over me. I will soon be back there, living the dream and embracing the most perfect moment…..I see it, I feel it, I believe it. Today, let your imagination soar into the clouds and see yourself in that place you want to be. Have a beautiful day, love Clarabelle.
My Brooklyn Bridge King
Oh Brooklyn Bridge, how I love thee,
So strong and robust, above the sea.
You light up my soul, in the darkest night,
Like a powerful beacon, a shining knight.
You stretch my imagination, and unite lonely hearts,
A gentle giant and protector, in all of your parts.
Carry me over, let my spirit sing,
Dance with me forever,my Brooklyn Bridge King.

Be patient…..sometimes the answer is right where you are. This lesson I have learned today, some decisions and choices are not to be rushed, they need some gentle time to simmer before the right answer comes to boil. Trust yourself, trust the universe and have faith in your inner guidance. . . . then lead the way. This next poem is inspired by just that, I hope you resonate with it in some way.
When the Universe is Calling
When the universe is calling, listen with care
Be patient with decisions, before you go there
Channel your energies, in the right direction for you
If you get off track, you’ll soon know what to do
Time is of the essence, but don’t rush the choice
Options are plenty, hear your inner voice
It may take many months, to turn hope around
Never give up faith, are the echoes of my sound
The journey you’re on, will have its ups and downs
Between big city lights, or small village towns
The mind is where it’s at, remember that for sure
The soul does not need to travel, to get that guided tour
The answers are within, the question knocks on the door
Keep your integrity, authenticity will give you more
The lessons are in life, sometimes in the waiting game
Take your foot of the accelerator and ignite your internal flame
